This was my first time ordering from Door Dash. I actually have never used any food delivery service(except pizza delivery). This experience wasn’t good for a number of reasons. When I placed my order it was going well until it said they were running late, 30 mins late. I wasn’t too upset because the delivery guy ended up getting here around the initial delivery time. When I answered the door the delivery guy was out of breath, he said “here you go” and “I’m out of shape” and then rushed off. Unprofessional and rude. Last but not least the food was okay at best, when I took it out of bag it was messy, I’m assuming he didn’t care how he held them in the bag(nachos),the lid wasn’t on all the way and spilt in the bag. Both the burrito and nachos seemed old, were cold, and nachos were super soggy. I don’t believe I’ll use this service again.

I have a very busy schedule and the convenience and restaurant choices with the door dash seemed like a great option, as it saved me a ton in fees (3-5 orders a week). The problem is their system does not work, I place an order, they cancel the order. I sit here waiting for lunch and get nothing. 5 out of 12 orders have been cancelled, that is unacceptable. They blame the restaurant and after speaking to the restaurant manager they have no record of an order placed. If they could get their act together it would be a great program, but until they I will stick with another delivery service

The market is too saturated with drivers. I made 7.24 in 3 hrs. You wait forever and no orders.

I received a notice that I would receive zero fee for delivery this weekend only to be billed $6.99. for my order.

I have used DoorDash 3 times over the past 10 months and each time the food is delivered cold; this last time the bottom of the bag felt like ice. The resturant was only about a mile from my house so how the food got so cold in a 10 minute drive is beyond me. The driver said her directions were wrong but she called and I told her exactly were to find my apartment building - still took her another 5-7 minutes to find me. Sorry but while DoorDash is very convenient I will no longer use your service.

So this was my first time using doordash and I’m in a new construction building so with my order I gave detailed instructions on how to get to my job site because the address it gives you takes you somewhere else due to the fact google hasn’t updated yet..I called and told the driver this after I realized he was just following maps. When I called he said he saw the big information. I told him I needed to put how to get here because maps has not updated yet he said oh ohkay. So he saw it before he left and still only followed maps. Then when I called and told him to follow my instructions I find him going the opposite direction on the interstate and call him for the 3rd time to tell him to turn around that he’s going the wrong way.! I gave him even more instructions. I told him after the sharp left curve their would be a gravel road on his left before the next stop sign with a fence around it with them separated in the middle for entrance he still passed it and then sat right beside the fence and called me telling me he was at the next stop sign and didn’t see it....the stop sign is literally a 100’ from the entrance.....Ik it is hard sometimes to find a address but when given detailed instructions and then going the wrong way on a highway that I even gave the exit number to you.......like why even bother to take the time and write up the instructions when they won’t even follow them anyways they just look at them and say...eh whatever gps will find it. No I’m sorry gps doesn’t always have the answer.!

I was horrified to see $40 worth of taxes, fees, and tips automatically added to my $65 order after I submitted it. Then I IMMEDIATELY hit the "Cancel Order" button, only to watch an animated spinner with the words ("This may take a few seconds"). I waited a minute, then went back and did the same thing. Nothing. Tried a third time and got the message that the restaurant had already started my order and I couldn't cancel. I feel like I was literally scammed out of my money. I'll NEVER use Doordash again.

50% of the time my food is late. The agents that you speak to online are always very helpful and offer credits for the next delivery, but it's just too unreliable. I asked if I could just go and pick my food up, but they wouldn't allow it. One time the door dasher never moved from their location, for like 30 minutes. They had to assign my order to another dasher, who didn't realize that they accepted the order until I texted them. The next time, door dash didn't assign anyone to my order until the time that it was supposed to be delivered? So I needed to contact them and wait another 30 minutes for my food. It's better to just call the restaurant and order it the old fashioned way. This service does not compare at all to seamless and grub hub.

It seems that the DoorDash experience is 90% dependent on your Dasher (delivery person). My first 2 experiences were fine - placed order online and received delivery of what I ordered in the expected amount of time. My most recent experience was a disaster: 1. Everything was fine with placing my order online. 2. The dasher made it to the restaurant. And was there for 45 minutes long past the expected delivery time. 3. So I called the restaurant and was informed that the dasher had been trying to contact me because the amount I was charged for the order was incorrect. 3 BIG problems with that statement - no one from DoorDash had texted, emailed or called me to that point regarding the situation; the order the lady at the restaurant read back to me was completely incorrect; in addition, it turns out that even if the order had been correct, the prices on DoorDash's website were incorrect. 4. I cancelled the order with the restaurant, and sent DoorDash a complaint email. 5. 2 minutes later - I get my first text from the dasher telling me to cancel the order online. I responded that it wouldn't let me. 6. 10 seconds later I get a phone call from their 'customer service' wanting to correct the situation. 7. I told 'customer service' cancel my order, refund my credit card, fire the dasher, and some other expletive laden suggestions about how to spend the rest of their day. 'Customer service' was very nice and they let me choose how I wanted my refund. I'm not likely to use DoorDash in the future.

I liked it with prior orders but today ordered a $32 meal and delivered wrong thing. Called restaurant and they said not their fault. Meal sitting, they said, for 30 minutes. Probably cold not our fault. Never again.

So I placed an order at 4:52pm directly through the Door Dash website and I did receive a text message saying that my order has been confirmed. At 5:29pm, I received another text message from Door Dash saying that the driver was on their way to the restaurant to pick up my order and that they would show up at my door between 5:54-5:59pm but the driver never came. So I sent a complaint to Door Dash and it takes these people 2-hours to get back with you. This kind of service is not acceptable. The driver responsible for making your delivery should have the courtesy to keep in contact with you especially if there is a problem.

Our delivery driver was very rude. After he put in the wrong address to his GPS, he blamed me for it and told me that I made him over an hour late for his other deliveries. I gave him my address numerous times and even tried to give him directions to me. I waited over 45 minutes while he was driving around. When he dropped off the food he was in my face and very hateful.

My deliveries were on time, sure. What is funky is their so-called tip system and the delivery people. DD tips their drivers then FORCES us to make a minimum 10% tip, but what is the delivery sucks? My last delivery was missing a 1/3 of the order they credited me $5 big whoop so that covers the next delivery cost. Also, the delivery guy was using hate speech loudly on the phone when he rode up. Then he loudly bullied me into opening up the container on his back and taking out the food, 'otherwise, I'd have to get off my bike and do it.' Dude, THAT'S YOUR JOB. So that's all she wrote for me. I'm not a fool, if they're so lax as to hire what looks like vulgar bums off the street, and clearly don't give them proper training, this is a company I want no part of.

Have ordered 3 times. First went great items ordered came correct and timely. The other two times had errors and were late. The last time I ordered the guy came I though I heard someone at the door but had no ring or knock. Checked and the guy was standing there. I open the door and he looked like I had taken forever. I gave him and odd look and asked why he did knock or ring the bell he just shrugged his shoulders. Ummm were you liking my food and hoping that I did not answer.

I m a dasher for about 3- 4 weeks east quick way to earn money more money opportunity but dow side is waiting 2 weeks and deliver a minimum of 25 deliveries in order to qualify for fast pay once that process is done your good to go. Cons about door dash is customer care team or escalating team? They call it just a heads up make sure you keep everything in your account updated as far as your cell number and email or you will go through hell with fast pay pre qualification and contacting customers when you want to communicate with customers still to this day door dash hasn't resolved my technical issues because they're software and customer service is in organized and lack of work ethic and still trying to update things because obviously they can't afford it who knows

Had an order confirmed, then 15 minutes later an email said cancelled. call CS, they had no idea as to why. Doordash does not care once you place the order, nothing other than we are sorry. This after you already waited for you food and now don't get it. You can tell why the overall ratings are less than 3 stars.

Offered me free delivery for a month. Charged me for delivery and have no information to associate this discount with my account. Asked me to send them a screen shot of the App which does say I will get this discount. Attitude is to not solve the problem and throw it back at the customer.

I have tried DoorDash 3 times now. Each time, there was issues with the order and drivers. I tried different restaurants in my area with each of the times. Customer Service doesn't seem to realize they are there to assist customers. Also, you cannot get ahold of anyone on the phone with DoorDash unless you wait at least 24 hours for them to respond to your email - yes this is the only way to contact them. Their drivers had had young kids in the cars with them while they are delivering. Orders never seem to be right and you cannot write any notes to the vendors. This is a HUGE problem for those of us that have any allergies. We cannot note it on the order. Drivers have also been late and orders just cancelled out of no where about 20 - 30 minutes after placing orders. Which you only find out by email. Also, if you try to contact the driver for your order, they do not respond. What is the point of having driver information if they do not respond?

Takes forever to get food, online it says 40 minutes then over a hour later food gets there and driver gives some excuse that they have to drive to get it first that is whats takes the 40 minutes then another 30 to get there . I looked todat to order a 10.00 chicken sandwich and by the time i was done with all the fees it was 21.00 .. Come on well i guess some are that rich and that lazy but not for me . Its a rip off , and its a shame that some businesses only use them so when you call to check on your order they say sorry they dont control door dash or there service . To all that give 5 starts good for you maybe in your area its good
