Terrible, terrible customer service. My order got assigned to a dasher with multiple other orders and my delivery time kept getting pushed out, over 30 minutes past the scheduled time. When I called DoorDash the operator had "standard" lines he kept saying to me and wasn't even answering my question. I asked for a manager and he kept giving me "standard" answers again and wasn't answering the question(s) I was asking him. Terrible customer service!!!

1. Dasher "checked in" at restaurant but food wasn't ready. Dasher immediately left and made other deliveries for an hour. No other Dasher could claim my food so it just sat there. I communicated to Dasher (Ginny, in Issaquah, WA) who said she was at the restaurant waiting (even though the DoorDash app clearly showed her two miles away probably making pickups/deliveries elsewhere in the area). I apologized that she was having to put additional time into the delivery because the restaurant wasn't ready (if that was even true?) and I asked if she would be sticking with the delivery -- she said she would and so I sent her additional tip out of concern for her (even though this was not my fault). Soon after I learned that the Dasher was making other deliveries in the area while she let my food sit at the restaurant. I took screenshots of her locations being no where near to the restaurant for half an hour of time after our call. Eventually she delivered my food totally cold. She tried to run away from my door so quickly that her photo evidence of delivery is around the corner from my door where you can not see the door or the food at the door and instead the photo is just some of my hedges. 2. I tried to report this through the app which initially offered me a token compensation. I had two options, accept the compensation or contact support. I chose contact support as I felt that my concern needed to be addressed through an understanding of what the dasher did rather than a discount on the order. This option led to an error that did not connect me with anyone and instead blanked-out the progress of my report. 3. A couple days later I sat down at a PC and logged into the company website to try again. This time the AI system told me nothing could be done. I pursued to speak with an agent. During the chat I began to retell the story but as soon as the agent understood that a couple days had passed since the order, they stopped my storytelling and responded that due to policy they couldn't do anything and then they immediately ended the chat. I won't use DoorDash ever again. Like so many modern tech-based service companies, there is no accountability for any level of the organization. In the "real" world, if the restaurant was significantly late with an order they would have shown apology to the customer and appreciation for the customer. I didn't get that. If the restaurant offered any apology at all, it went to the driver, not me. Possibly the restaurant was late and put the Dasher in a tough situation and because DoorDash does not compensate the driver when a restaurant is late, the Dasher felt compelled to break their covenant to me (the paying customer) and lie to me while making other deliveries or similar in the area (might be other food deliveries, or Uber driver, or who knows what else). Ultimately, I ordered food through a service and I paid for it and I paid more for a tip and then more again out of good conscience for an additional tip to the driver. What I got for this was lies, cold food, no apologies, no compensation, and a total lack of accountability or action from DoorDash. The restaurant won (a paid order). The company won (a paid order/use of their service). The driver won (extra tip from me + extra money while they did other things as my order sat and aged). The customer was the only loser.

After making our very first order using DoorDash, we had high hopes that it would go well and that we'd receive the dinner for two from Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant. The order included Chicken Piccatta (3 pieces), Fettucine Alfredo, bread, Caesar Salad and lemon cookies When the "DoorDasher" arrived, she handed me a bag barely large enough to hold a ham sandwich and then turned and got in her car and left. I was stunned, and thought she was going back to her car to get another bag. She got in and left. The bag she gave us only had the salad, the cookies and plastic utensils in it The main course, the side and bread were missing and couldn't have fit in the tiny bag she handed me. When I texted her to report that the bulk of our order was missing, she said it was the restaurant's fault and that she'd report it to DoorDash. Within minutes, we received a "template email" from DoorDash Support stating "You recently reported an issue with your DoorDash order. Based on the details you shared, we escalated your case to a specialist on our team for additional review. We're following up to let you know that we've concluded our review and have made the decision to deny your refund request. We recognize that you may be disappointed by this outcome, but we based our decision on a comprehensive analysis of all relevant factors, including the full details of the order, the details of your refund request, and your overall account history. While we could not fulfill your request this time, please rest assured that we'll continue to work to improve our process to ensure you'll have a great experience moving forward." DoorDash didn't step up to take ownership of the fact that their delivery driver failed to check the contents of the bag against the attached order receipt listing the items we ordered. And then made no real effort to examine the fact that we had been shorted the bulk of our order costing us a total of $69.02 - a combination of a $35.00 DoorDash gift credit from a friend and a $34.02 charge to our credit card. There was also a $9.50 tip for the delivery person. So, Doordash took no responsibility for the fact that they did not deliver the complete order and blew us off with a nonsense email reply stating " a comprehensive analysis of all relevant factors, including the full details of the order, the details of your refund request". I called their support and got a person who was very difficult to understand (accent) and was equally evasive about DoorDash's responsibility. They simply choose to let the customer get screwed. Add us to the growing list of unhappy customers who got cheated by DoorDash and because of that will never make another order through them. Photos provided show the receipt that was stapled to the bag and a photo of the bag that was delivered containing only the salad container and little bag with utensils.

Be careful! A dasher crashed into my property, I have provided audio and video footage and DoorDash do not want to assume responsibility for their employees . If you dash i suggest meeting them at the curb

I don’t know what going on but seems like either door dash system is talking money from orders it or door dash it literally taking money from me every time I add a added order I never get paid for making my delivery and door dash blames it not the customer with no happening starting to think door dash is scamming people out of added order money deliveries

door dash sucks you pay to much money for this service and your food may not be delivered and you will mot get a refund based off how many times they've messed your order up or should be cash om deliver specific instructions to give to me in my hand they never showed up was no picture to support anything was even left and did not gat a refund

My order was delivered to the wrong address and the dasher kept hanging up on me. I contact DoorDash customer service line and never received receive a response. However they quickly declined to refund me for my order.

My orders were consistently delivered to the wrong address.The drivers lacked any communication with me. I cancelled my yearly membership after one month, but i still allowed to use it (I paid in advance, no refund). Tonight I placed an order with Door dash and it was the worst delivery ever. I went to complain and DD said the store coordinated the deliveries! Huh? Then why is the store even on DD?

I ordered a bacon pizza and I got pepperoni. All I wanted was the correct pizza. Instead I received a $5.48 credit for a pizza that I paid $17.50 for. That's ridiculous! I threw the pizza away and will order from Uber Eats from now on. What a slap in the face for a loyal customer.

They deserve no stars just ordered 62 dollars of food and only got a soda they will not do a refund so we are going to the bank and putting a stop to the payment getting our money back never ever use DoorDash they are a joke a will not give money back they are a bunch of crooks

Horrible customer service, does not even deserve 1 Star but you can't write a review otherwise. My Google account was hacked and fraudulent transactions had occurred in doordash on an account I did not create. I was able to login to doordash using my Google account to see transactions processed on my PayPal. I reported it to support twice with the transaction receipts and screenshots showing an address and phone no. That was Not mine. Doordash refused to acknowledge fraud and cancel the transaction. Do not sign up for door dash, they do not care aby their customers.

Less than zero stars. Dasher made multiple stops and delivered COLD food in an open bag. The burger was literally thrown together and not even wrapped properly. The food bag looked as if someone tampered with it. Explained the situation to DD, and they were VERY RUDE.

Unable to complete a basic order from McDonalds. Received incomplete order after which they are offering credit for next order. Am I supposed to eat the credits? I'm not recommending this service

Said they delivered my food and I never got it the driver dint speak English so I couldn’t even find out where he was,they I filed a claim with door dash for a refund and they denied it!! Just got ripped off by door dash for $27 last time I use them

First time delivery with doordash. Incomplete order. Did not bring drinks. The food sucked too but that was on Popeyes. I called support who said I will have a dasher bring it in an hour. I told her I wanted it with my meal and that is not satisfactory. She replied I will note you are not satisfied and she hung up. I can't believe that is how doordash handles customers. They hang up on you. Never again. Really bad.
