If you want to wait forever for your order go with them. They couldn't care less that customers wait more than 2 hours for their food. They will also try to blame the restaurant by not updating it on your side when the restaurant marked the order as ready. I had to call the restaurant to find out my food had been ready for more than 1 hour. Very shady, and total lack of empathy. Just go with Uber eats.

********** NEVER using DoorDash again! WHAT A NIGHTMARE! ********** --- Today I ordered stuff from both Shop Rite and Zachary's and the orders were assigned to one driver. The driver, a woman (Jennifer) didn't respond about substitutions she asked me about, though I responded within minutes, and next thing I know, my order was refunded $58.73 for items out of stock. (Chicken thighs, guacamole, fresh salsa and a few other things I selected replacements were supposedly all out of stock at WLB Shop Rite.) --- I call DoorDash. I was apologized to and given a winky-dink $10 credit toward my next order! --- THEN, it is 1/2 hour beyond when the orders were supposed to be here. And Jennifer didn't message me back regarding the status of my order. When I called DoorDash, the phone rep advised she couldn't get the driver on the phone. --- Next thing you know, I get a message my order was delivered! MY ORDER INSTRUCTIONS STATE TO HAND THE DELIVERY TO THE BUYER. My address is not difficult. I went to my door and looked outside my periphery; no food! I then called DoorDash as I have Ring cameras and "Jennifer" never came down our driveway! I walked around the building and spoke to my neighbors and neither place or person had my close to $172.00 in foodstuffs!!! **Obviously no picture was taken because she most likely stole my stuff. --- Calling DoorDash is a nightmare because they have to put in a *request* for a refund that can take an hour! I was advised I would get an email about the status of my refunds. --- An hour passes and I get an email that I was given DoorDash credits! This was unacceptable because each DoorDash phone rep I spoke to, I advised I wanted a full refund of all monies paid *and* that I was please cancelling my DoorDash Pass subscription immediately. --- Another call and I was advised the associate had to forward the issue to her supervise because she was unable to refund my Shop Rite order from credit to monetary refund; the Zachary's order was emailed as refunded. --- What a hassle! Thank God Attilios delivers!

Placed an order for delivery and received confirmation that it was picked up and on the way. Then it was canceled. Called the store and confirmed that it was picked up by a door dash driver. So... their drivers steal food/products. I reached out to get a resolution and kept getting a non-answer as to whether or not this was going to be addressed. So I am now out the money for my order and no food.

I will NEVER EVER use door dash for anything EVER AGAIN, since I've been given the run around with the issue I'll just leave a review on all door dash apps or whatever, first off i ordered food the delivery person never dropped anything off at my address and I contacted the restaurant and door dash between the two supposedly door dash claimed they couldn't do anything even though I was charged, so no food no refund and worst customer service i ever experienced,, contacted the driver and he/she gave me the run around, spoke to the manager at the restaurant and she said she remembers giving it to doordash witnessed him putting the pizza down on a counter and started talking to people he knew, driver tells me he never got my order but dropped off fries that I ordered which were cold this business is very shady, I believe the driver was probably drunk because his last message to me was i got good grades..

I experienced a Doordasher trying to get into my apartment. I heard a noise at the door and noticed someone was turning the knob. I looked through the peephole and opened the door seeing someone rushing down the stairs. Please keep in mind I did not order anything that evening. I went to my balcony and saw the Dasher exit my building, holding an empty DD bag. He looked back at me, knowing full well what he has done, and proceeded back to his car and took off. I called DD and experienced some of the worst customer service. My first attempt, the representative left me on hold for 30 minutes. I hung up and called back, only to receive the same representative. I asked why I was left on hold and he had no idea who I was. He went on to explain that they receive calls every hour, every minute and every second so they cannot remember all calls. He then proceeded to ask what my safety concern was and he put me back on hold. Of course, nothing happened and I was automatically taken to a customer satisfaction survey. I love irony. I called a 3rd time, spoke with another individual, and after some back and forth, being placed on hold, I was told there is nothing, that could be done. Due to their "privacy policy" - they cannot give out any information about potential drivers who might have entered my building. They proceeded to try and tell me they have no way of knowing if a driver would have entered my building. The only way they could know is if an order was placed etc. Keep in mind this is the department handling personal safety concerns. This department should have full access to drivers and knowing where they are at any given time, or at the very least all deliveries made. I would imagine they would have access to address searches and knowing how many deliveries were made at the address, what times and who the drivers were. I was advised to call the cops and the cops can call DD, for which their law enforcement department would handle it. The concerns and safety of customers are less important than the privacy of their drivers. As customers, we are most vulnerable to anyone connected to DD, and having the potential of our information being given to anyone...it's appalling, and the representatives who have to take out calls - despicable. Yes, customer service is a horrible industry at times, and I can only empathize with what they have to go through. But when it comes to our safety this should take precedence over anything else and treated delicately and with more compassion.

See my review below from yesterday. I just called and deleted my account and they did not even ask me why. Wow really appreciate your customers DoorDash. Keep this up and you will be gone soon. Does anyone even care about reviews at your business?

Two days in a row door dash didn’t get me a driver for over an hour and I had to cancel my order and lost $40! NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE DOORDASH THEY SUCK!

•plz don’t order from dash door, it’s better to use Uber Eats to be completely honest! The support team is extremely horrible…and you can’t even get your money back from them(even if the dasher ate your food)at all!

I had a dasher pick up my order, I paid for faster delivery and yes I tipped!. The dasher did not know where he was going and did not speak English, doordash denied my request for a refund. Do no food but I damn sure paid for it.

This app charges you to get better rates, faster deliveries and it is just a scam!!!! If you have to use it use the free version. They never get your order right. They say they give you credits and never show it. Can’t EVER show up on time. IT SUCKS.

I’M TIRED OF BEING ABUSED BY DOOR DASH I’ve been ripped-off SO many times by Door Dash’s AI-based Refund System. While it has worked on occasion, IF your issue aligns perfectly with the options listed, but frequently it does not. And with NO HUMAN Customer Service option, this App is “the most user-UNfriendly App out there.” They have NO HUMAN OPTION for those times when a refund request needs to be elevated. Not everything is black and white, and not every issue can be listed … sometimes things just happen. And when it does, trained HUMAN CSRs who possess patience, problem solving skills, and a true desire to help are key. (The opposite of DD’s Corporate “CSRs” who merely regurgitated what popped-up on that same AI-based Refund System which was of no help to begin with; while patient and polite, they possessed no problem solving skills whatsoever.) In addition to losing money from low-ball refunds, I pay Door Dash $100-$120 a year for a “membership” PLUS I pay ridiculous fees PLUS Door Dash MARKS-UP the purchase price of items by about 20%!!! (It says they can do this in the Agreement, and they do.) Example: Denny’s Grand Slam $15.50 on Denny’s delivery platform vs. $18.49 + increased Tax & Fees for the same item on Door Dash. So what has Door Dash done to EARN my loyalty? Nothing, but they have managed to undervalue many of the order-error refunds which didn’t quite conform to their standard choices (costing me money) AND years ago they disabled the “Comment” box, no longer allowing customers to note special requests (ie: extra ketchup, extra crispy, peanut allergy, etc). Less work for them, less value for us. Prices increasing, service declining even further — I’m out. Now-a-days most retailers offer their own online delivery service via their website. From Denny’s to Walgreen’s to Von’s to Home Depot … I’ve found this option to be WAY more service-oriented than Door Dash or any of the other delivery sites, and the products don’t get marked-up an extra 20%. If you prefer having one central shopping / delivery App there are others out there; no need to settle — find one you like. I highly recommend InstaCart. They do all things retail from fast food to groceries to hardware and I’ve had great success with their Chat Help on the very rare occasion something wasn’t quite right. So kiss another long-term frequent-spender good bye, Door Dash. While you may find yourself another sucker tomorrow, word will eventually get around. TIP: When checking REVIEWS always SORT BY “Most Recent.” DD’s default sort is “most helpful reviews” (read: positive reviews) but “Most Recent” will contain current real-time feedback both good and bad.

I have used DoorDash many times and except for a few glitches it has been fine. Here is why I am giving this low review. -my apt complex is in area that has many different complexes that are off of a main rd. Mine however are not mixed in with those. I have put detailed location instructions on the website which I have been told by drivers works very well. For some reason the drivers rarely access this and end up in the other highly populated area of apts by following the map on the doordash website. -My latest problem however has caused me to change to Uber eats. On Nov 1st I ordered a meal then decided to add an additional item. I followed the prompt on the website and added the item. When the driver came she had two meals and I questioned this as I thought she had given me someone else’s order. She advised that she had to deliver according to her information regardless of what I told her. The problem was that when I added the item it doubled my entire order. I checked my bank account a few days later to see if they had credited my account. I assumed they had been advised by the driver and backed out one of the orders. I called them and told them what happened but was told since I had received 2 meals I had to pay for them both. I pointed out that their system caused this and I expected a refund for one of the orders because I paid twice as much as I intended. I would like a call as I rarely use my email.

Door dash is HORRIBLE.. they do not protect ur money on ur debit card and allow fraudulent activity. If u didn't make the transaction they refuse to refund the money and ur just screwed. Door dash is greedy inconsiderate evil asses

I don’t understand why DoorDash has drivers who don’t seem to care about providing excellent customer service. They often can't find my location, and I frequently have issues receiving my orders. It's frustrating that they expect tips but then ask me to come outside to get my delivery. That just doesn’t make any sense and feels very unprofessional. It's not always about the money—it's about receiving the product you ordered. DoorDash really needs to hold their drivers more accountable.

DoorDash only delivered half of my order an hour and a half after originally placing it. I find out it’s gonna take over another hour to get the rest of my order delivered to me. So I canceled the order and now I have to wait three days for a refund! I will never use DoorDash again. Y’all are awful!

Received an entirely incorrect order, put in a complaint, it had to get "escalated" (I complain a lot because I very rarely get everything I order and sometimes don't get it at all). This escalation resulted in no refund, despite the receipt on the bag I'm the picture not matching what I order or even my name. Horrible service. The only reason I use it is the free premium through Chase. I'd say over half of orders are wrong or go missing.
