The parcel arrived 4 days late. The couriers arrived late, not even close to the "1 hour slot". Not the first time DPD disappoints.

A 6 1/2 hour delay past deadline? No apology ? The usual 2 excuses : 1) "I'm new to the area" and 2) the usual one : "the sat nav DPD issued to us does not work". Utter CRAP !

I see it is a common problem. Sending messesage that no one was home. Mine 4rd time in roll.. Maybe package too large?! Coustomer servive - robots! I avoid companies offering dpd deliveries. Amazon, royal mail, dhl the best. DPD is worst out of the worst

Absolutely outrageous. Asked them to collect my parcel for next day delivery. They failed to collect. Rang company today and told I would be booked in for collection today. Told I would get message confirming. No message. Went online chat told they dont know why driver didnt collect. They then issued me with a new dispatch label. ASked will they be here before 4pm today. No they would collect tomorrow. What time will they collect - as per order between 0900-1700. My company closes at 4pm. Asked for rebate due to my parcel not only not having been collected but indeed delivered next day. Sorry madam we don't do refunds. Choose this company above others - now deleted

Last week I ordered a parcel and received an email saying it would be delivered by DPD on Tuesday. I work Tuesdays, so used the DPD website to change my delivery date to Thursday (today); the one day I'm not working this week. I received an email confirming my delivery change. That was all fine. First thing Tuesday morning I then received another confirmation email telling me that I'd now changed my requested delivery date to Saturday. I didn't make this change and Saturday wasn't suitable to me as, again, I work Saturdays. So I went to the website again and changed my delivery date to Thursday for the second time. Received another confirmation email. Sorted. Today is Thursday and I've spent the morning of my one day off waiting for the confirmation of my one hour delivery slot that their emails promised me. Instead I've just received another email telling me that I've now changed my requested delivery date to Friday. AGAIN I did not make this change. Why on Earth would I change the delivery date of a parcel that I'm sat in waiting for? During this I have not once had any contact from DPD, except the automated confirmation emails, or had an explanation or an apology. It seems like DPD feel they can decide when they actually need to deliver their customers parcels and if it's not suitable for THEM, they'll just change it, whether or not it's a date actually suitable for their customers. Then, on top of that, they have the nerve to send me emails telling me that I'm the one that made this changes? DPD obviously couldn't care less about their customers. I'll be using other delivery companies in the future.

You try getting hold of someone from DPD it is a total waste of time. They had clear instructions of where to deliver my parcel that clear even a CHILD could follow but their drivers well it was to complicated to understand. And with 8 people out of 111 giving them an excellent rating say's it all. STICK WITH ROYAL MAIL. At least you know where you stand with them this shower are the worst ever. I will never use again

DPD service is way more than unacceptable. I ordered items from Currys and selected a special evening delivery for 12GBP on Monday. I took afternoon of to be at home after 2pm and wait for courier (suppose to deliver between 5pm and 8pm). Waited all evening, and suddenly few minutes after 8pm I received a message saying that I was not in to sign for delivery! Tracking status changed to "delivery attempted on 17:11 and calling card left". No one tried to access the building through entryphone and no calling card available in mailbox. No person to call in DPD, only email based customer service which is completely unhelpful! I guess lazy driver did not want to deliver on afternoon and now they will deliver in regular hours because special afternoon delivery is only for the first attempt! NOT ACCEPTABLE SERVICE! If you can select other courier do not even hesitate!

To begin with, my parcel had to be with me on Friday 26 May, 2017. I even received an email for a one hour time slot so I was really afraid to miss my parcel and preferred to stay at home that morning to make sure I will be able to take it. However, 20 minutes due to end of my delivery time slot DPD send me an email saying that they are expecting delays that that they can not deliver it today and will deliver it only on Tuesday. I contacted one of customer assistants and they kindly rescheduled it to Saturday 8.00 - 17.00 delivery time or offered to pict it up on Friday after 18.00 from depot at Royal Park ( as I could not make it to depot I agreed with next day delivery. Luckily, as later I found out that my parcel seems to be lost). On Saturday I obviously did not get my parcel and did not get any delivery time slot and any other information I had to contact customer service again and been told by Lucy that then can not locate my parcel but will try to deliver it on Sunday (in case they will find it). On Sunday I had to contact assistant AGAIN to obviously ask WHERE is my parcel and have been told that it will actually have to be delivered on Tuesday... as they do not know where is my parcel and it POSSIBLY on a "weekend trailer which will be accessed on Tuesday". All this information does not sound very convincing and totally unacceptable for a well-known company. As I just had a feeling that everyone trying to wash their hands off in order to get rid of such an "annoying" customers like me, who just want to receive a parcel on a promised time......

Never bothered to deliver an item then took a picture of a piece of paper as some form of proof that i wasnt in - i was in! They even expect these types of complains as they dont publicize a telephone number for you to call them on. The drivers are mostly self employed and all have a cant be arsed attitude - your a delivery driver mate, deliver things

AVOID - DISHONEST DELIVERY DRIVERS ... totally dishonest company. 5 minutes after seeing a notification that an attempted delivery had been made to our home and a card left, we called to say no delivery was made and we had no card, children were playing in the garden and CCTV showed nothing, the evidence given by the driver was a photo of HIS ARM!!! We were then told that he could not get to us because the roads were closed ... erm, no roads at all closed in our area at all, we had a Royal Mail registered delivery within 5 minutes of the said road closures and customers were coming and going at the same time of the road closure. Was then told that we'd get a delivery after 2pm, just called at 4:30 after waiting in all day to be told that we are getting no delivery. Totally useless service, too many blatant lies and misleading information being given to customers. Very disappointing in this day and age that a company would be so complacent and have such dishonest staff working in the front line of customer service. Certainly won't use this company or companies that deal with them in the future unless we have zero choice. Even Yodel don't fabricate stories about road closures!!!

I have an email from DPD that says no one was in and a card was left. Someone was downstairs near the front door all day. My home is on the main street and my house and all those around it have numbers. We had at least 15 successful deliveries last week. The contact us form on the website would not submit my complaint. I tried at least four times in 30 minutes. No delivery and no way to email the company. I cancelled my order as this is the only way to get Currys to pay attention to the problem of DPD

The don't even deserve 1 star. The worst delivery company! The drivers do not buzz into the apartment building at all and leave "we're sorry we've missed you" email. This happened for two days in a row and I actually had to wait for the delivery car outside for an hour. Just outrageous. Seriously? Are you expecting people to wait for an hour outside of an apartment building to get the parcel?

Ordered an electronic item from eBay, the seller paid for a two-day delivery. I live an hour away from the seller in the North West area, I was able to track where it had been collected by DPD. Three days later I had to badger DPD for a response and was told that the parcel was on it's way from Kent, four hours away from me. Another two days later it arrived damaged and unusable. I'm in the process of getting a return and refund from the seller thanks to DPD.

Paid extra for next day delivery. Claimed to have attempted. No card left. I can see the entrance - they haven't been here. Dishonest. Incompetent. Deserve to go out of business.

DPD are by the worst delivery company I have come across. Their customer 'service' team were useless. Hung up on my the first time I spoke to them. Apparently DPD could not find our address and no one advised us of this - a central London address. First excuse was our post code does not exist and was our home a new build (it's a 60+ year old building). Confirmed reason for no delivery is that the driver didn't bother turn up. They returned to the depot with our parcel 'and didn't follow standard procedure'. Wasted day.
