I ordered a Hifi from Curry's, DPD was their choice of courier. I tracked my driver "Ellis" via the DPD App, I was the next delivery, I waited looking out of the window anticipating "Ellis's" arrival, but he never came, I had a automated text from DPD to say that my delivery had been made and apparently signed for by myself. I phoned DPD straight away who advised me that my Hifi had been delivered in error to another person on a totally different addresses, when DPD supplied me with the address that the delivery was made to, "Ellis" turned up in his DPD delivery van, the person who signed for the item, passed the main body of the Hifi back to Ellis the DPD driver with no power lead, remote, no box etc it was all unpackaged, Ellis then said to me "here is your parcel" I said you must be joking, I paid full price for a brand new boxed item and you are handing me part of the Hifi system, I added, I paid for a boxed item as it is a present, Ellis sarcastically said "well they won't have to unwrap it now will there" I refused to take receipt of a partial item that the wrong recipient had unpacked and used in the space of 20 minutes, so I said that I am not taking receipt of part of a delivery and I would like some sort of "acknowledgement" that the part of the initial parcel was again in the possession of DPD driver Ellis, he told me to F*uck off, I said that his behaviour was disgusting, he told me that he used to be a firefighter and now he is doing this "poxy" job delivering to "c*nts" like me, I pursued this further when he knew that he had overstepped the mark, out of nowhere he started screaming that I was attacking him, to draw attention away from me, I hadn't moved from the spot, and I couldn't attack anyone as I have a heart condition and any undue stress or exertion would cause me to go in to cardiac arrest, so Ellis drives off, in the space of the next hour, he returned 5 more times and sat outside my property, filming me on his smartphone and trying to get a reaction by sticking his fingers up to me, on his last visit I was on the Phone to South Wales Police as I felt intimidated and threatened by Ellis returning and parking up outside my property in the works van and filming me, South Wales Police attended my call and have put my address on to high alert / rapid response if I make a call due to intimation by the DPD Swansea area driver Ellis, Ellis failed to see that the complex where I live is covered by cctv, plus the tracker on his van will show that he was at my address multiple times intimidating me within an hour or so timescale, it was a frightening experience being threatened and intimidated by a delivery driver because he made an error delivering to the incorrect person initially, expecting me to then accept a part of a unwrapped, unboxed, incomplete order that the "person" that he delivered to had unboxed and started to use, I wouldn't of minded if he had actually apologised, but he was arrogant, cockey, abusive and threatening towards myself, he was in no shape or form apologetic and returned multiple times to my address to intimate, bully and make me feel threatened and scared. I have logged this issue with DPD Customer service call centre, I telephoned there 3 times one call handler was initially sarcastic, but Yullia, and Edward were outstanding, I must say, I logged the incident and further called back giving a Police Incident report number, and Crime Number after the Police were in attendance at my property as I had to call them as I felt threatened, I am a 45 year old man, and I felt physically intimidated and threatened by Ellis's behaviour and conduct as he was aggressive and coming in to my personal space and pushing his face in to mine at points of our conversation, but ultimately if "Ellis" felt threatened by me, why did he keep returning to my property, and harassing and intimidating me and filming this all on his smartphone, plus the fact that he has used the DPD works van which has a tracker, DPD as a company will clearly see that he purposely returned to my address to bully and intimidate me. The question is how many others has he done this to? As there are a lot of frail, vulnerable, even elderly people that DPD deliver to, was today a one off occurance of the bullying behaviour displayed by Ellis? To be honest I can only give you my honest version of events, I am sure Ellis would tell a far from honest version of the truth, all I can say is I felt intimidated, bullied and abused, all because Ellis had to come back to rectify his mistake by delivering my item to the wrong recipient, and this recipient had already unboxed and used the Hifi, and only partially gave this back to Ellis, who then in turn, Ellis expected me to take delivery of as a delivered item, when it was incomplete, used and unboxed, at the end of the day Ellis's arrogance overruled job role and customer care and service. I am disgusted and appalled by such behaviour by a delivery driver, dreadful attitude to the customer and the item / package. Spencer (Swansea)

Don't trust DpD services don't trust the customer service, the only answer you get sorry, the driver can't return even it's the driver fault, he came to a wrong address, I have dpd app, i was waiting next to my house and i received a notification that we missed you!! in the same second i called the customer services, and said i'm here the driver didn't come, the answer was he can't return sorry. i was trying to explain that i have a flight to catch and i pied extra so i can have my parcel in the morning before my flight, the customer service start to be angry, as if it was my fault. the strange thing few days ago i had exactly same experience but to my address in London, i was again waiting next to my flat expecting the driver to come same thing happened receiving notification we missed you!! same argument with customer services, with no solution. don't trust drivers: looks like they don't make any efforts to go to the right address, just taking a photo to a random place just to say we missed you!! i don't miss you guys...... probably just to show they had did as much jobs as possible but without delivering.

Absolute rubbish, Told on the app that the parcel would be delivered in 15 minutes, Was at the address in 5 minutes, He had been and gone, Found him down the road and was told that I could not have my parcel as I was not at home and he did not have time to go back, Also his attitude was rubbish, If you want decent customer service try another company.

If it could be negative review, it would be! Blaming my neighbour when courier photo is not her door - who knows where my parcel is. Couldn't care less about my situation and basically told me to f@@@ off.

Ordered some stuff from ASOS on the 14th of June and due to the amount spent, there was free express delivery which was perfect as we needed some of the clothes for an event in 2 weeks. 3 days later (on the 17th), the items supposedly arrived in Singapore. It's the 26th of June today. Items are still in the delivery depot. We need the clothes on Friday. Contacted ASOS twice with regard to this but there is nothing they could do since they didn't get a reply from DPD. Honestly the worst delivery service I have ever experienced (given that I shop online frequently). As of now, my items are stuck in the delivery depot (since the 17th), I can't cancel my order and I will need to find other clothing replacements. Complete bullcrap service.

Appalling. Paid for next day delivery and parcel arrived to buyer 6 days later. Sent an email asking for a refund and nobody got back to me. And calling costs more than sending a parcel....absolute rubbish.

I agree with all these bad reviews. Got a delivery slot 10-11 am today. Waited quietly. 10.10 am got a text their driver tried to deliver my parcel but I wasn't in!!!!! Are they a joke company or what. FInally got through on the phone at 4th try. Person assured me the driver would come back today. Now 10pm. Do I stay up until midnight? I am cancelling my new phone order and will never buy anything again from users of this useless delivery company.

WORST DELIVERY SERVICE EVER. AWAITED FOR MY PARTNER'S PHONE TO BE DELIVERED BUT WASN'T AT HOME CAUSE I WORK 8 TILL 5 LIKE EVERYONE IN THIS COUNTRY. I PRE-ARRANGED TO BE DELIVERED TO LOCAL DEPOT WHICH WAS 10 MILES FROM MY PLACE. GET THERE, SHOW THIS GUY WHAT WAS REQUIRED IE THE PARCEL PASS AND A PHOTO ID( MY DRIVING LICENCE THAT HAD THE SAME ADDRESS THAT WAS WRITTEN ON THE PARCEL). HE TELLS ME HE CANNOT GIVE IT TO ME AS IT HAS TO BE A DOCUMENT THAT STATES WE BOTH LIVE AT THE SAME ADDRESS. I TELL HIM: LOOK WHAT STATES ON MY DRIVING LICENCE. HE CALLS TO ASK AND A LADY OVR5 THE PHONE SAIS NO...YOU NEED A BILL WITH BOTH NAMES ON IT. I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW ON EARTH THEY ARE NOT BANNED FROM THIS COUNTRY!!!

Abysmal Service. A delivery made when we were not in was taken back to the local depot. The now.dpd.co.uk website to arrange redelivery was down for the entire time following (a message appearing saying please try again later). After 4 days of being told to try again later, they sent the package back to the original sender.

I was expecting a parcel yesterday, I wasn't going to be home, so I asked for it to be delivered to a neighbour. It wasn't. I called and they said they asked the driver to go back and deliver to a neighbour. He didn't. It was rebooked today to be delivered to a neighbour again. They said I wasn't at home (DUH!), and that's been sent to my "nearest" shop, which is half hour walk from my house. Now I'm trying to call but I only get an automated message re my specific parcel, and it's saying that it's going to be delivered again tomorrow. Every single time I get something delivered with this company I have problems. Every. Single. Time. -- Now I'm calling and I only get an automated message because my phone number has been logged into their system re my parcel. I cannot talk to ANYONE at this company. -- I have messaged them on Facebook. They've read my messages and I have received no answer.

My parcel was due to arrive "next working day". On the day, I got a text saying I'd receive a one hour window. The text never arrived and neither did the parcel. Not the first time this has happened to me with DPD, they are a pathetic excuse for a company. The inconvenience they must cause to so many people on a daily basis across this country must be huge. In future, when I order anything, I will check which courier company they use. If it's DPD, I'll shop elsewhere (even if I have to pay more for the item).

I certainly won't be using DPD again. Firstly their 'Drop Off Shops' apparently won't accept parcels over a certain size (which is not stated anywhere on the DPD site or the specific shop's site) So I wasted £10 on taxi fares and half an hour of my time having to go there and back. I then requested a collection from my house at a higher price and after waiting for an hour during my allotted time period the driver never showed up. The support guy had no explanation for this, refused to offer me any compensation and refused to escalate this issue to a manager. I'm incredibly disappointed, as is my dad who was supposed to receive this parcel for Father's Day. Needless to say I will now be taking my business elsewhere. Avoid DPD!

They said they would deliver it on Thursday, and would send a text message. I got nothing until Friday afternoon, they said they would deliver on Saturday. I was not going to be home on Saturday, so I asked them to leave it at the rear porch in a safe place, with detail of the safe place. When I got home there was a card saying they could not deliver because I was not home!!! They delivered on Monday when i was home, after "discussions" with the courier, it turns out that he does not know the difference between "rear porch" and "front porch". This terminology is an actual option on the website, so you would expect the couriers would be at least trained to that level of English!!!! Will never be able to buy anything from Redbubble or any other site that uses this courier again!

I am so incredibly disappointed with this shipping service. I ordered something from Selfridges in the UK to be delivered to Croatia and we are STILL waiting for the delivery 11 days later. Selfridges assured me of delivery on 10th of June, but somehow the date was changed along the way to 14 June. DPD SAID they tried to deliver the parcel last Friday but "no one was there to accept delivery" which is a complete and utter LIE as the recipient was at the house ALL day waiting for the delivery. AND they have the phone number for the recipient and never called him. If they had called, they would have known he was there and waiting. We are waiting with interest to see if it will be delivered today. It better be! To make matters worse, this is a birthday gift for the recipient that is now 6 days late (and chocolate no less which will be a melted mess due to this ridiculously long shipment process). I've already had my say to Selfridges about this debacle. What an absolute disgrace!
