Item time sensitive, waited for DPD van at the time specified in the text they sent to me but didn't see anyone. Before time expired got another text saying that nobody was home to sign for, followed by a text letting me know that the item will be left next week in the safe space specified by me ( I did'n specify anything). Next morning, text again my parcel will be delivered in the following hours. Waited, waited, suddenly text message again letting me know that parcel was delivered in the safe space mentioned. A couple pictures attached with a door I didn't recognized. Called DPD to clarify where my item is, they didn't want to hear anything from me as the parcel appeared to them as delivered. I have to insist, so I was suggested to 'contact the sender and get details about measurements, content and appearance' of my parcel. After being to their system, measured, weighted, insured, they wanted me to contact the sender and ask him if the door in the delivery picture is my door? Called them again, they can't do anything as their system says the parcel is delivered, waiting for me on my front porch. A few days later I was contacted by a neighbour from the other side of the village, they found a parcel with my name on it inside an outer building somewhere at the back of the house. So, 10 days later I have my parcel, without 0 support from the non existent DPD Customer service

They tried to deliver my parcel when I wasn't in, so I rebooked for a Saturday delivery-no sign of them and a total waste of my weekend. When it finally was delivered to a neighbour it was smashed to smitheens-and the customer service response was lukewarm to say the least. I will never use DPD or Doddle again.

I have ordered a parcel and expected to be coming Monday round 1.30 to 2.30 i received a email saying sorry we mist you that is complete bollocks i was in and they left a calling card with my neighbour I payed for next day delivery complete waste of time unreliable service they lie and would not be purchasing anything!!!!!!!!!!!

Expected a delivery Monday, made sure I was home, didn't arrive. Tracking details said that they had attempted delivery, nobody was home and they left a calling card. This was a LIE! Contacted them (via Twitter as NO telephone numbers available). They apologised, said they contacted depot and driver would be back on Tuesday with the delivery and would call if any problems. Delivery due between 18.50-19.50. Sent a message at 19.11 to say nobody was home (I was in from 3pm as usual!!) so ANOTHER LIE and that the parcel would now be sent to the local shop for collection. There was no phone call as promised if there were any problems. I contacted them on Twitter again but obviously everyone had gone home by that time so Wednesday morning I receive this: Hi Donna, I'm so sorry that this still hasn't arrived with you. I've raised this with our depot management who are looking into this now, your parcel is due to be delivered to the pick up shop today and we're unable to override this I'm really sorry. If you do not wish to collect please contact your retailer who'll be able to arrange for your parcel to be returned back to them and redelivered to your address. I'm so sorry that I can't override this. :( [Sam] So now after 2 days of taking time off work, waiting at home for delivery of car parts, have now missed the slot booked in to get car repaired and also expected to now travel to a shop to collect my delivery. Absolutely disgusting service from DPD. I hope I never expect a delivery from them again

Having had so many poor experiences with Yodel, I now look for Companies that use DPD. I'm willing to pay a premium as DPD have never let me down. I normally receive a text with a 1 hr slot. I'm able to get on with my day without constantly looking out of the window. I work long hours and am therefore very time poor, this is such a valuable service to me.

Ive always had a problem with this courier service and this is the last time its even driven me to become a keyboard warrior... After ignoring my request to deliver to a neighbor which was accepted I waited for the next which the same thing happened, drove all the way over in rush hour traffic after work to the pickup location they told me and it hadn't arrived yet (all the information I was told was minimal at best and incorrect) the worst part about this company is its customer service, contacted multiple times and no answer (they say 90mins to reply which is false its been 48hours+ and still no reply) The company I purchased from accepted to give me a full refund. ill be staying clear from this poor excuse of a courier service.

I ring to double check the address its going to and get an automated message saying "THE DRIVER COULDNT COLLECT AS HE WAS DELAYED" THIS WAS BEFORE IT WAS DUE FOR COLLECTION are DPD drivers psychic or time travellers,how do they know they couldn't collect and were delayed before the collection was actually due not even the courtesy of letting me know.if I hadn't rung id have wasted my time waiting in

Parcel was delivered on the day within the hour time slot with regular updates by text on its whereabouts. When it became apparent that i wouldn't be in when it was going to be delivered i followed the suggested link and was able to leave specific instructions as to where the parcel was to be left. I was then texted confirmation when it arrived and even given a link containing photos of where it had been left. 100% recommend this service.
