If I could give zero stars, I would. I have had two collections booked. The first, they never turned up but marked it as ‘when we arrived we were advised the items were not ready to collect’ which is an utter lie. I then had to wait a week for a rearranged collection, and they once again never arrived, and marked it as ‘when we arrived we were told there was nothing to collect’. Customer service advised me the driver said he was ‘in a rush’. Perhaps in a rush delivering a baby? In a rush to deliver guns to a scary arms dealer? In a rush to go to the bathroom? All fine reasons, we are all human, but don’t lie and say ‘nothing to collect’, ask to reschedule. They have lied twice about things ‘not being ready/nothing to collect’. So, in summary, DPD are ridiculous liars who don’t do their job, proven twice in short succession, and I suggest you stay miles away from this company as it’s useless for its intended purpose of collecting and delivering things. An update: I spoke with someone on the phone earlier today at DPD who said the driver would come back later today to collect, and the person on the phone said they would ring me to give an update later. This didn't happen. At 5pm I rang DPD again and was advised that under no circumstances was the driver coming back as he ended his shift at 2pm! How ridiculous! So, I was lied to THREE TIMES BY DPD.

Pretty much the worst tracking site. Each search gave a different status with one of them saying that the item was returned. I am awaiting a suspense filled delivery

An absolute joke. The driver tries to deliver to the wrong address - the street at the back of my house so it shows the correct area on their gps - takes a picture of that building and, when I enquire through the app, keeps sending me the same picture over and over. No other way of contacting them: the phone has a message with no option to speak to someone, What'sApp: a person was supposed to message me 26 minutes ago... still no answer. I had to call the supplier - who were brilliant - so they could cancel the delivery and send the goods back to me with another carrier. Absolutely appalling.

A slight hiccup with my delivery [wrong address and comment would not return that day] was brilliantly solved by a local advisor in York [Grace]. she contacted the driver, arranged the delivery and then checked back later to ensure everything ok. Superb customer service of going above and beyond.

Parcel was posted on the 27th of July to arrive on the 28th of July. 4th of August the track Parcel website said it had been picked up and delivered to my DPD pickup shop, no info on where this was. This is in effect useless info. Further attempts to track my parcel revealed the parcel was in Nottingham, nowhere near my DPD pickup shop in Scotland. An attempt to call the company on a mobile number cost me £6.39. To get a warning that it would cost £ 6.00 for the call plus local call cost, this call was all of 5 seconds. On line help desk gave about five options of answers, none relating to a parcel that hadn't been delivered for the first time without a one hour delivery slot being given. I asked to speak to somebody that could actually help. I was then put on to a supervisor who told me nothing more, no reason for the 12 days it had taken so far or when it would be delivered for definite. It seems the company do not want to deal with complaints or help their customers, they would rather give them the run around. The first Mobil number I was given was an independant company who charges £6.00 to pass you call to DPD. This is to discourage phone contact with DPD. Absolutely the worst customer experience with any company I have ever dealt with. Expect it might arrive after 14 days but not holding my breath.

They dont even attempt to make the delivery. I purchased an item for it to just have a journey in a van for a few days with no attempt at delivery. A truly abysmal company

Bad service. I made order online and paid money. However, when I called to customer service after 2 days to clarify regards not moving delivery. I was told that I need to print out labels which were sent to me via email. I explained that I did not receive anything. After I was transfer from one person to another, wasting my time and money on phone. In the end, customer support could not assist me. They suggested that money will be returned if I will not take any actions (which they did refund). However I wasted my time without getting what I needed.

DPD delivery service is just terrible. Perhaps they often hire very incompetent delivery guys. I hope none of serious companies (e.g., Samsung, Apple, etc) use this company.

Absolutely disgusting driver shouting at my 12yr old that if he sees my dog he is gonna kick it. When he was repeatedly told to get off my premises he repeatedly shouted he will kick my dog and then swore at me

Has to be the worst company I ever dealt with. I believe the ability to lie without flinching is a qualification for working with dpd. They lost my parcel and after trying to speak to someone on the phone unsuccessfully, I decided to go to the depot myself. I stated my case and after ping ponging me around one of them came out to tell me the parcel was in another dpd depot. A lie I found out the next day was just to get rid of me. I returned to the depot the next day and stated my complaints. I was given all kinds of promises and a phone number to call for updates. I realised again that I'd been deceived as no one ever answered every time I rang that number and it'd been another trick to get rid of me. It's been 2 weeks and my parcel has still not been found and no one is doing anything about it. Dreadful company!!

Let me put it this way: we stopped buying items from websites that use DPD. On a dozen of occasions they have failed to deliver and find our home (it is difficult to miss a 7-store high building). We came to know their level of competence and waited for them at the door, but they never show up. Their latest achievement: the driver drove past us without making an effort to stop, but we did receive the 'Oh-oh, we missed you' message promptly.

Waited around all morning as they said they needed someone to accept the parcel. Got a message towards the end of the hour slot they had given me to say that they had "Missed Me". At no stage did they attempt to call me, ring the doorbell or knock on the door. How is this acceptable? How is that an attempted delivery? I have tried contacting them on multiple different platforms but to no avail. The phone line and website chat function are automated and do not lead to any resolution. I now need to take more time off work to accept this package as they will not allow me to change the delivery address either. AVOID USING DPD AT ALL COSTS. Atrocious customer service along with awful delivery performance.

Dreadful company to deal with. They are incredibly slow to deal with any customer complaint. They are order takers and not customer service driven or focused in what they do. Their service levels are some of the worst in the logistics sector both in the business to business and business to customer segments. They fail to deliver the correct shipment to the correct address. All simple, basic stuff for a logistics company. I wouldn’t use them or recommend them. Stay well clear and look at the competition instead. For UK domestic shipments Royal Mail are a far better and cheaper option than using DPD.

This is the worst company to work. I've been working there for a long time. Begining was quite allright menagment team make everything to think that you're in right place. However everything is depends on the people who works there. Massive change came in 2020 in one of Leicestershire depot and everything falls down. Treating drivers as a rubbish, charging for completaly everything, no support at all, cheating on prices, rates. Draining from you all the money even it wasn't your fault as a mention above no support in any places from dpd. If you have a choice please avoid this "Company of the year" they forgot to say thats the worst company of the year.

'Gareth' the local driver for the North East has since the beginning of the pandemic tried very hard to demonstrate the fact he despises women, people who are shielding and the disabled and has now given me his hacking cough when I was unfortunate enough to be outside the building as he delivered half a damaged and torn parcel. I do hope he is well because that was a nasty phlegmy cough he had. Pity he hadn't got a handkerchief. Unfortunately Gareth is confused about never finding us in but then if he will go to the derelict land agent's office on the other side of the street..... lying about uis not being in because I am always in except for the couple of times a year I have to go to hospital. He has consistently attempted to confuse, bully, lie and intimidate but it hasn't worked because I anm partially deaf, I can however lipread ''for fucks sake'' and ''Jesus' when a parcel is thrown almost on my feet by a scowling male but just assumed DPD drivers were all-ill mannered louts with the same impenetrable accent. He has shouted down the intercom, banged on the door despite being told to use the intercom, played mind games, taken parcels away because he disputed that a shielding person did not have to give a signature, and deliberately dropped a parcel at my feet while coughing ostentatiously in my direction the one time he ran into me outside my flat. He has taken food deliveries away because he said it was a requirement to photograph the parcel with the _inner_ door open despite the fact I couldn't physically open the inner door and the upstairs hallway is our safe place. All this is without a mask. After he started taking parcels them back downstairs with him and dumping them on the steps of the building he began telling DPD he had been asked to return them to depot when he obviously had not. He has falsified time documents, said he has been when he has not and taken away half of a birthday gift while delivering part of the parcel and saying he was returning it to depot and claiming I SAID to take it away even though I said no such thing. I have only ever spoken to him once in case he gave me more verbal abuse. He has a foul mouth, an appalling attitude and deserves a criminal record and he must have a chronic cough because he always tries to cough at me as hard as he can. He has logged photos of empty buildings across that street and he knows damn well which building we are in because sadly for us the criminal little bully is the only DPD driver for the area. As a disabled person who was told to shield I know I am deliberately being abused by someone who resents that he has to work. Any more nonsense will be logged and taken to the police. Tried to phone customer services, no response. Appalling. Discriminatory and criminal.

Where do I start about DPD in Vienna. I have been waiting for a package for two weeks and I am still waiting to this moment. They came two three times and left without a note because they couldn’t find my address. This is despite the fact I ordered from Amazon for years and only DPD CAN NOT FIND MY ADDRESS. Last threee days is the icing on the cake because they told me on a message: Monday then Tue and then Wednesday from 08:00 - 17:00 and I saw the car on the map being 4-5 min away and nothing at the end. Who manages this company do they know the meaning of customer care or who gives a F… as long as they get their money.
