Absolute Joke!!!! DPD Ipswich Failed delivery attempts when driver doesn't even bother to go to my property I paid for next day delivery and have now had 4 failed attempts, contact head office about 10 times and was promised without fail it would be delivered and yet again Sorry we missed you What an absolute shower of S**T

AWFUL SERVICE. We should collect all these complaints and sue them! 2 people were at home when I received a message that nobody was at home - what???! At least a driver should try to knock on the door!!! And they will not do a second attempt to deliver. Support said 'Sorry, you can come to our collection point for your parcel for the next 7 days which I cannot do as I'm leaving for 2 weeks.

Dreadful. One job, that is to deliver packages. They do not do brain surgery, cook superb food, build houses, they deliver, or do they? I would say not. I intend to ensure I never order anything whereby the company use dpd for delivery. I ordered a box of cakes for a specific day. Ordered in plenty of time. You will not be surprised to learn that the cakes did not arrive, instead I may get stale cake delivered tomorrow. I am not hopeful as the last time I checked the parcel was in Birmingham and the delivery address is at least 4 hours from there. After 7am tomorrow morning the cakes will be of no use as I will not see the person they are for until Monday. MMmmm, state cake. To be fair to dpd they are not the only ones who do not care, Cutter and Squidge, the cake company are equally disinterested. Do not use, go elsewhere, there has to be better.

Absolutly Shocking service. Given one star as there isn't a minus star. 3 days of waiting for a delivery of vital equipment, first attempt not in apparently, no delivery card left but a random photo of a pavement taken by driver on track my parcel, obviously not my house 2nd attempt in a 1 hour slot, driver can't find address !!

I waited in all morning for a parcel to be collected. My doorbell rang (once), it took me about 30 seconds to get to the door and there was no one there. No attempt to call me to find out if I was in. Went back upstairs and looked out the window to see a DPD van driving off down the street. Immediately tried to contact them but of course there no phone number on their website, nor any other means of contacting them, apart from the tracking number they provided, which gave me an error message when I tried to use it. Absolutely rubbish service and a complete waste of my time. It’s almost like they don’t actually want to do business with you.

I had a delivery scheduled with this company so someone from my household took the time off of work to wait in. Nobody knocked on our door. We then received an email to say that they had been unable to deliver the package as nobody was in and rescheduling the delivery. Again someone waited in and yet again nobody knocked at the allotted time. We again received the same email. We thought this strange as we had waited in and yet no one had knocked so searched for a customer number so we could check if they had the correct address. We found the phone number 09015 450900 which said it was for customer services. When I phoned this number it was just a recorded message telling me to rebook online. I then discovered that I had been charged £6 for this number and charged for 2x SMS texts that I did not ask for. I was not warned of this when I phoned up. When I finally found another number I was told that the reason the delivery had not been made was because the road was closed. I sent an email to the complaints department but no one bothered to reply. It feels unacceptable that a company will scam people with a premium number that is just a recorded message to say to go on the website to rebook. I will not be using this company again and will advise others who ask to do the same.

Received a message from DPD saying our parcel would be delivered by Ben 15:33 to 16:33 today.Waited in from 14:30 but no delivery then suddenly I receive a text saying as we were not in would now have to be collected from our nearest collection point.Called DPD local depot who said they would contact the driver who either could not find our address which is right on a main road or is telling porkies about we were not in.Yet to check the CCTV to see if he came to the door.All this despite the early text telling me about the delivery and where we could have it left if we were not in,which was over the side gates,which clearly he could not read on both counts address and requirements.Poor customer service.I will not be collecting from the collection as my order with store clearly states my address as the delivery point.I see this as the something the supplier and DPD to sort out as I will just be asking for a refund if I do not recieve the goods. Still waiting for the local depot to reply.

Time slot of 12.04-1.04 Finally turned up at 17.25 😒. What's the point of even giving a time. The app told me from about 1.30 that tom the driver was on drop 18 and I was 19. Might as well use royal mail at half the price, far more dependable . They might only give a 3 hour slot, but at least they keep to it 😉

Purchased a telecommunications item Saturday and was told it would be delivered the following Monday, OK. Sunday we went out and returned to find a card stating that DPD could not deliver as we were not in, Wrong Day! Rescheduled for Monday twix 4 to 5pm, fine we were in all day working in the garden. We get an update stating that there is a delay but it WILL be delivered twix 4 & 6pm, Fine! 17.55 we get a text stating as we were not in they could not deliver the parcel. NO Card left this time and we were in all day! The driver, Nelio is a liar! as I can prove what I say to the satisfaction of a court of law. Nelio! do not lie! you will get caught out. DPD 0.5 out of 10.

Appalling Service from DPD - after I received an 1hour delivery slot for today, I waited for my parcel to be delivered. Instead, and after I buzzed in the driver, 2 mins later I got a notification that they missed me! On top of that, they are not even trying to redeliver my parcel, but they are going to hand it over to a random place where I am supposed to go and pick it up tomorrow. I complained over the phone, but of course "they are really sorry, but they can't do anything". I am disgusted by DPD and their service, from now on I won't buy anything from companies that use DPD as their courier. I can't understand how companies like this continue to exist and also make a profit.

They simply don't deliver. I have stopped purchasing from 4 different companies that use DPD, and will always check going forward if a company uses this courier service, and not purchase from them if they do. I continue to purchase from Amazon, because Amazon have a note on my account saying 'do not despatch anything with DPD'. They don't deliver, they do lie.

Sat in waiting, tracked the driver into the village, watched him drive past without stopping and then tracked him out of the village. Whilst listening the Stoke depot could not contact the driver direct so they passed the issue to his manager. Not heard a word since. I cannot claim the cost of a weekend delivery back as I am not their paying customer which is reflected in their poor customer care with me.

I have experienced most horrible services and my parcel was supposed to be collected at collection point and they didn’t provided me any pass to collect and later on it’s showed delivered . Terrible and Ridiculous services.

the most horrible company in any angle you look at it. Poor customer service corrupted system nothing works smooth. They keep sending the payment link for import charges but how do you pay the charges?? Even god doesn’t know, they do not have any idea about payment link. It’s almost more than 3 weeks that my parcel keeps rejecting due to import charges. Getting fed up with them as they do not have any one who is helpful at customer service.

Honestly I'm not one for writing bad reviews but this company is the worst I ever experienced ...a joke between not delivering parcels in time to just a terrible costumer service, after 9 days from the first attempt, tried to reschedule delivery, they confirmedevery day and still waiting.... I'd give zero stars if I could.

Dreadful - they claimed the driver tried to delivery but he did not come to the house as we were waiting. They have no complaints team and have basically said ‘ not our issue…we now have to go somewhere else to collect this parcel…dreadful…

The worst delivery service I have ever had. My parcel was not delivered for 2 days , due to "the driver could not find the apartment". I was home these 2 days and the address was clear (can be found in Google Maps by postcode or address easily), still did not get any call or anyone trying to deliver. On the 3rd day I have noticed that the address got changed automatically to a collection point far from my home. Calling to DPD did not help at all, customer service was repeating that they can not do anything even if they did not have any evidence of the attempts of delivery (the pictures driver took were blur they said). Clearly driver just did not bother trying to search for a building or call. Now I have to go to the collection point by myself, spent lots of nerves as well as some money. I guess DPD does not understand the meaning of the word "delivery".

Whenever I see that a parcel is being delivered by DPD I already hold my breath. The worst part of this company is that they LIE! I had a parcel being delivered today and was given a time slot. I then got an email saying that the driver had attempted to deliver the parcel, claimed nobody was home and was told I could go collect the parcel at a pick-up point the next day. The thing is, I WAS AT HOME ALL DAY!! This is not the first time this has happened, in actual fact the last three deliveries from DPD have gone the same way. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
