“I didn't work this weekend, Saturday 23rd September 2023 due to an expected delivery from dpd. I was eagerly waiting at my window as the parcel I was waiting for was already over a week late due to issues with the product provider. Whilst waiting at my window I received a message claiming that I missed the driver and they would reattempt delivery tomorrow, Sunday 24th September. As you can imagine I was fuming as I took the day off work to receive this parcel and now I would have to take the 24th off too. Their driver tried delivering to the wrong address, that didn't even have the same door number as me. So I left a justifiably bad review on trustpilot and because of this they have refused delivery today, Sunday 24th September also. They will reattempt delivery tomorrow, Monday 25th but no one will be home as I will not be losing more work and wages for their failures. So I don't know when I will finally receive my extremely overdue parcel and honestly, I don't think I've ever had to deal with such unprofessionalism before and from supposedly the 3rd best delivery company in the UK.”

“Absolute liars!!! Supposedly an attempted delivery made. Rubbish! I’ve got full 24 CCTV covering all areas of my property, nobody knocked. You can’t even file a complaint, they just tell you to get back to the sender. Lying drivers are getting away with not doing their jobs. Pathetic company!”

“Why does the driver wait near where l live for an hour or more. It stays on the same number for ages. I keep thinking that l could receive my parcel a lot sooner. 👎☹️👎☹️👎”

“Paid over £4 to get delivered next day, surprise delayed in sorting facility, can never make it on time now for my needs, plus no way to change from pick up point to other locations once been selected, from now on only using other providers, such a waste of time 😞”

“Free shipping with DPD “Next Day Delivery”? BEWARE! It's days (weeks?) on end of "attempted deliveries" right on that time when you need to bring kids from school. Even if it's an hour they'll "attempt"the delivery exactly when you told them not to. And you'll be emailed that your parcel is being held a mile from you but after a half an hour phonecall you'll be told that you can't collect it. Why did they email you the location? It's just pure chaos and indolence. They also won't leave it with neighbours so your urgent parcel is practically kidnapped. Avoid DPD at all cost.”

“DPD isn't a business, they are outright scammers. Ref: 1597 6873 470 615 Took a day off to receive my parcel, left instructions for a driver to call and knock. Driver took a picture of my door, didn't call, or knock on the door and left. He doesn't care to return. Absolute joke of a business, nothing but scammers.”

“Failed to collect a package (DPD organised by company i am returning a faulty item to) then sent a photo of not my car on not my drive in front of not my house. Driver was witnessed not getting out of his van. Neighbour has a ring doorbell as proof. 2nd failed collection in 2 weeks. Shocking service”

“I’ve waited in all afternoon, only to find at 6pm my collection has been cancelled. I’m SO so cross. This There has been no communication from DPD, not even to let me know this. Instead I get told a lie about not being able to find my address”

“If there was an option to put no stars I would as DPD are not a company who put there customers first. I arranged for them to collect a parcel from my home they pulled up outside and never even got out of the van an id just received a text saying address closed. When I reported this customers service advise they just said they will instruct there drive to get out which I was shocked as that's just lazy but the next day they just drove past the house and I received the same message. At this point I was angry as my parcel had to be at in Durham by a certain day. Customer service promised me the van would come back and made me wait from 1pm to 6pm Friday wasting my whole afternoon. I offered to drop it off for them but they are not open to the public so at this point my parcel never got delivered loosing me the customers I promised this parcel to. I asked to speak to a manager twice first time the never even logged a call back but took my mobile number the second time the phone rang for 2 seconds never even giving me change to pick it up and that was to make it look like a manager had called me not even leaving an answer machine message to say they had called. I will never use them again and anyone who use them they are just cowboy and the lie about there service updates and done even stop or get out of there van. And the fact that customers service have to advise there drives to get out of there van to knock on a property is just shocking. “I have just watched the DPD driver pull up on the road opposite turn around and leave without making any attempt to deliver the parcel. Why drive all this way and then not bother to get out of the truck and deliver the parcel? I actually stood with my frontdoor open waiting for him to get out of the truck! Will never use again. Absolute rubbish.”

“3rd time recently that a parcel was not delivered. Drivers are using excuses like, parcel was refused as contact name was not recognised and address not found. The parcel is then sent back to the retailer and not attempted to be delivered. Do not use this firm if you want your parcel.”

“I attempted to have a large item delivered via DPD to my home. The driver arrived late, pulled up in front of the house and then turned around and left. I then recieved a message saying I wasnt in and that I now have to collect my parcel from a DPD parcel shop of their choice. As its large item its going to be nightmare to get home as parking around that shop is terrible and a good distance away. The customer service chat tried to help but couldn't do anything but say it would go to the shop. I get it if I am not in, but I waited in specially for the parcel (which was late) and to now have to take more time away from work to collect it is a massive kick in the teeth for an apparently "reliable" delivery company.”

“Disgusting customer service. Driver said he couldn’t find my address so the parcel wasn’t delivered. No other option for me, no one contacted me about anything. When I called customer service I was met with a sweat shop that didn’t even seem human and didn’t listen to anything I was saying. Will never use this courier again!!!”
