Dreadful - they claimed the driver tried to delivery but he did not come to the house as we were waiting. They have no complaints team and have basically said ‘ not our issue…we now have to go somewhere else to collect this parcel…dreadful…

The worst delivery service I have ever had. My parcel was not delivered for 2 days , due to "the driver could not find the apartment". I was home these 2 days and the address was clear (can be found in Google Maps by postcode or address easily), still did not get any call or anyone trying to deliver. On the 3rd day I have noticed that the address got changed automatically to a collection point far from my home. Calling to DPD did not help at all, customer service was repeating that they can not do anything even if they did not have any evidence of the attempts of delivery (the pictures driver took were blur they said). Clearly driver just did not bother trying to search for a building or call. Now I have to go to the collection point by myself, spent lots of nerves as well as some money. I guess DPD does not understand the meaning of the word "delivery".

Whenever I see that a parcel is being delivered by DPD I already hold my breath. The worst part of this company is that they LIE! I had a parcel being delivered today and was given a time slot. I then got an email saying that the driver had attempted to deliver the parcel, claimed nobody was home and was told I could go collect the parcel at a pick-up point the next day. The thing is, I WAS AT HOME ALL DAY!! This is not the first time this has happened, in actual fact the last three deliveries from DPD have gone the same way. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Disgraceful Company if you have a delivery issue don't waste your time trying to contact DPD. Delivery schedules need to be revisited or they have a number of untrustworthy drivers. I'm fed up reading 'we've missed you' when you've waited in all day. Check the photo the driver places on record it won't be your property. Hopeless Company.

Evert time DPD get it wrong. Never deliver on time or to correct address. You can't contact anyone. Why people use DPD escapes me. Terrible service . No customer service. There are far better delivery services available that actually deliver.

Terrible service - used to be so good. Parcel due yesterday with one hour time slot. Not delivered and no communication from DPD. Exactly the same again today - one hour time slot but no delivery. Again, no communication from DPD. To rub salt in the wound, on both days I have seen DPD vans delivering in Buxton where I live and yesterday the tracking showed the van five minutes away from my house!

I was waiting for my O2 parcel and the dpd driver didn't knock to my front door, just because you have to go around the garden, he was lazy and left the card on my garden gate, and so he took a picture of it as my house door. I went on their chat to get the parcel delivered again on the same day as I can't wait again all day for it tomorrow, but first I was conected to some stupid AI repeating same words and than to some stupid advisor who ended the chat telling me to change the address, as she didn't even read earlier chat probably. This is the second time I had my O2 delivered by dpd and the second time delivery delayed like that. I don't get it why they still use this worse company ever.

I have an active doorbell which is quite loud. The push was never pressed, and NO attempt to summon me to the front door was made, despite a knocker also available as an alternative. DPD have eight collection points here in Peterborough so it is not possible to track the whereabouts of the parcel. An absolutely appalling service.

Liars. Claimed to have missed me, you need to come to my house to miss me. Your driver Mercea never attempted delivery at 8.21pm tonight. Your driver Mercea is a liar. DPD make Evri look good.

I’ve been battling with DPD since yesterday I was in and waiting on a delivery- I received an email saying I have missed my delivery and now I’m expected to travel nearly 10 miles to collect from a Homebase Apparently my driver after failing to knock my door decided to ignore my clear delivery instructions that are both on my online account and on the physical door it’s self. I don’t drive and this Homebase is not easy to reach - the parcel required no signature now be aware apparently their new policy is they literally make the smallest effort to deliver then deliver somewhere else now correct me if I’m wrong they are paid to deliver to the home address! Apparently now they say there is nothing they can do I either get it by the 30th or loose it - I’m A. Unwell with a lifetime disability B. Not prepared to spent my own time and money to get my parcel DPD just kept saying nothing can be done so clearly drivers are being told to speed things up and just dump items miles away from customers so they can capitalise on profit and get away with not actually doing their jobs - their policies are ridiculous and their attitude and customer service leave much to be desired! Shocking I’ll be asking the sender to resolve this for me.

Disgusting company, despite having my postcode and county DPD messed up and sent my parcel to London, I specifically paid extra to have the parcel delivered today as I'm unavailable for the next 2 weeks and have no one or nowhere the parcel can be stored safely. I called the customers service number and spoke to a very rude man, who tried to force me to accept a different delivery date. I needed the item today, I have cancelled my order with the company I ordered my item from and I won't be using any company that uses DPD has their courier.

Wish I could leave zero stars. Nothing new here, DPD as bad as ever (although not quite as bad as Evri). Claims to have attempted delivery at 10:35 but noone home, which is a blatant LIE as the delivery point was a manned shop that has been open since 07:00. I have informed the vendor from which I boiught the product that I will no longer use thier store. Nothing will change until the sellers are impacted. They will then about using effective couriers.

Yet again, DPD tried to deliver to a village four miles away from me, with a postcode one letter different. To add insult to injury, they then sent me an email claiming that their driver had 'run out of time' to make the delivery. This is a flat lie: the householder in the other village had pointed out to him that he was in the wrong village (again). He could have driven on to the correct village - ten minutes further. They have been doing this for some time now. I have tried repeatedly to get them to use the correct postcode but they are totally incapable of responding and correcting. I now specify with on line orders that I will not place the order if the seller uses DPD

Ordered a new phone. The address isn’t the easiest to find but my driver couldn’t deliver because no one was at home. That’s a lie because it was my mums address and she was in all day. Now my phone is back with the shop after a second failed attempt. The purchase cancelled because of dpd

Twice now DPD have given us an early evening appointment time, twice they have failed. We were drop 78 on checking the tracker driver at drop 52, this never changed. Pathetic customer service

Parcel was supposed be delivered next day a service I paid extra for. The parcel was loaded onto van but the driver never bothered to even attempt a delivery. Cant get through to customer service as they close at 5pm. so wait until next morning and they changed delivery until Monday. Called them to say this was my dog food I cant get out to get more as have a ill disabled child at home I needed it on the Friday. the best they could do was "upgrade" me to sunday delivery. When i asked for refund this was met with we cant refund your delivery as we upgraded ypou that's your refund. so basically if you pay next day delivery of 6.99 it wont turn up they wont give you a reason why it never turned up and they wont refund you. 6.99 may not sound like much but theses days it really is when your a carer and cant work full time this company is joke even amazon refund you if the delivery is late

It's the 5th time now that DPD have chosen not to deliver an item to my house. Specifically a driver called Catalin (Salisbury Area). - I live in the centre of town. This morning once i was supplied my driver and delivery time. I noticed it was the driver Catalin and i know that this specific driver always makes zero effort to deliver the parcel to my house. Pre-empting this i called DPD immediately and explained my issue. They then said this isn't a problem and that we can leave a specific message for the driver detailing where the house is and a mobile number to contact me if they are still struggling. This particular item was a phone swap (my work phone) it was integral to me that i got this delivery as i could be out of pocket if i lost out on any work. This was explained on the phone. They assured me this would work and wouldn't be a problem. I then left work early to make sure i as there. I watched the digital update live so that i could be outside waiting for the driver when it was nearing. Next thing i know i got an email stating that the driver had tried the deliver - they definitely hadn't. I then looked at the picture they supplied as proof to say they were outside. This picture was of a shop front that wasn't even close to my house. It was 5 streets away and about a 4 minute walk. Clearly the driver made no effort to find my house. Again. This time leading to me losing work, time and money. They wouldn't even contact the driver and ask to try and re-deliver or even let me drive and meet them. I then asked to make a formal complaint about the service and the driver and all i got in return was "someone will contact you within 18 says". This is simply not even close to being acceptable and i couldn't suggest avoiding using DPD more.

On 13th December dropped off and paid for parcel to be delivered. 14th December showed parcel being collected from drop off point. 16th December - In transit. Then parcel completely disappeared, it was only going to Northampton but had property belonging to a customer in it ! December 23rd had to open a Claim for an insured parcel but at no time was I able to speak to a human to find out what was going on, it is offensive to have type messages to some faceless being who is unable to answer any of your queries anyway! This parcel was eventually traced (?) and arrived at it's destination on 6th January and since then I am informed that my case is closed! DPD - you are correct about that - never will I use you again, absolutely appalling and not even so much as a "we are sorry we lost your parcel and were inconvenienced".
