Been waiting for my parcel for 4 days, pickup shop can only hold 7 parcels at a time, and they've been trying to deliver 23 parcels, so the shop keeps refusing my parcel every time. Still haven't received anything. Emailed and called customer service, no item. James

NEVER had a single successful delivery from dpd. They are quite simply, the worst courier firm ever. They don't bother showing up at the promised time (despite me taking time off work to wait in for them) and then when I call to question, the system just cuts me off. Eventually they'll say that they tried to deliver it and ask me to reschedule, although strangely they never seem to leave a card to prove they were here... hmmm. I notice that 93.85% of reviews on here are 1 star, says it all really, they clearly just don't give a monkey's. Absolutely disgraceful service.

I agree that Gear4Music is a great company that I have also used...BUT their judgment of trusting DPD with deliveries will only backfire. After numerous disappointments with DPD I now ask my suppliers who they use for delivery. If the answer is DPD then I cancel my order and go elsewhere...It is just not worth the risk and frustration dealing with these unreliable, rude and dishonest people who seem unable to provide the commissioned service.

Purchase from Gear4Music Re Order numberw3391770 invoice wver77d. Today I waited for DPD to pick up my parcel as I was home. They never showed up . I received a text asking to reschedule the pick up-totally useless waste of my time .This is typical for this company (DPD)and I ask why does a great company like yours use these carriers to deliver your goods and tarnish your reputation. I know have to (because you do not offer postal lables) have to walk to my nearest DPD drop off in the cold. Totally unexceptable.

Carl They also rate their jobs much higher than their customers rate DPD's 'service' - says it all! obviously a cushy number for some. But when you talk to Supervisors and Managers you soon realise that the problem with the delivery drivers is only the thin edge of the wedge...Terrible 'management' and their Customer Services is beyond belief...How can their managers keep their jobs unless their brief is to insult and lose customers and clients...?

I have just read many of the scarcely-legible and grammar-free posts from employees themselves rating DPD as an employer; no wonder problems occur. Pay peanuts, get monkeys...

Very rude driver Mike who’s delivery to Swindon . He went to wrong house number! I thought I may accidentally give wrong number but when I check was ok. I was waiting all morning and when I received msg on app from dpd where they said “ we missed you” with the picture of the outside door with number 103 instead of 106 I went mad. I went on that app online chat which makes me even more angry. When I explain what happened one of live chat person told me is impossible. I talk about few different people. They really tried help me but everyone was saying something different. Eventually they send driver back but I have to wait another 2 hours and was late for work. The worst come when driver come back. I never meet such a rude person. I did ask him what happened on me parcel was right house number so just nicely asked what happen then he replied very very nasty “ human error “ and his look was so scary! Right I do understand human error in fact that was very pathetic one . If you have clearly number 106 front of you face but going to number 103 there is something wrong with you! I honestly don’t recommend them ! Literally I simply scare ! I don’t wanna face that kind of driver ever again because he was look like he wanna slap me or something I believe he was under influence or maybe drunk previous day .

Totally incompetent, dishonest, rude and useless badly managed company not fit for service. I have had the misfortune to buy from suppliers 10 times this year and they have delivered on time twice - late on apparently second or third attempt (even though I was in!) 5 times . one parcel never left the depot and is now 'lost' and two damaged parcels which I am trying to get compensation for but they do not honour this easily. They seem disinterested in providing the service they advertise and no amount of flashy new vans or software/apps make 'no efficient delivery' better than the guy on the bike with the box who at least hands you your parcel ! Individuals and companies are strongly advised to avoid DPD - they were once good but it has all gone very seriously wrong now and they seem unwilling and or incapable of addressing their obvious chaos. They also have a very obvious disrespect towards their frustrated customers.

As I'm never in during working hours I chose "deliver to my neighbour" as there is always someone in next door. . I have CCTV at my property and when I reviewed my recordings I found that the DPD driver came to my house, knocked the door, and left making no attempt to try a neighbour.. I was furious! He spent 40 seconds there!!! I went to the local depo to complain but they didn't care.. Just said that the driver was in the wrong but didn't want any details or want to see the footage!

Read these reviews - with no response from DPD and then look at the fact that they have won awards for customer services and still employ the same Head of Customer Satisfaction....!!!! We must be on a different planet or the fraud and corruption is to the core !!!

Amazon Delivery / Next day / DPD sent/confirmed by email that will be delivered certain time. Just incase I also added message to deliver to safe place (and confirmed by DPD) to correct name and address. Then after waiting around all morning - get an email / sorry we could not deliver as we did not have the name. Then I complained, then they said they didn't have a telephone number ; then told me just before delivery Amazon contacted them to re-schedule the delivery for 2 days time (of course Amazon didn't) ! DPD not interested - wasted 40 mins on a call. Amazon have been good and refunded. I suspect the real reason is it was raining heavy , likely the driver didn't want to get wet (I guess getting out the van is too much)!! / Drive close by for tracking and then zoom off.

Never use DPD. You can stay in all day, staring outside the window and you’d still receive an email stating they tried to deliver when they didn’t. Total catastrophe of a company.

Said attempted delivery but nobody there, this is business address and at least 5 people were there at the time stated. Told that delivery would then be made today and of course it wasn't. Now saying it will be Monday. Total shambles. Avoid dpd if possible.

Yet again problems with a company using DPD for delivery. Failed to turn up despite giving a 1hr window and staying in all day just in case. Absolute waste of time. Have to rearrange, cancel other plans and wait in again. This is the 5th time in past 6 months that DPD have failed to deliver as arranged. Contact call centre charges also a rip off. If merchants admit to using this company, in future I will order elsewhere.

Bottom line is that DPD are just unable to perform the service that they are employed to carry out. They are dishonest and disinterested. Their customer services is rude, aggressive and totally disrespectful to their customers. It seems clear that they despise their customers and lie to them on a regular basis trying to cover up the chronic failures in their system. DPD are totally unreliable and it seems they think that they are unaccountable. DPD should not be in business and soon won't be with their terrible attitude and management.

I have had a lot of experiences with multiple delivery couriers and DPD has been the absolute worst. My Sky order was sent via DPD- scheduled for a Sarturday 14.56-15.56hrs delivery, and yes, as many people on the internet are saying, I waited all day, took in seperate deliveries from Amazon (evidence that I was home!). I got the update on their tracking system showing that they were very sorry as my driver Varun was running 'a bit late.' This message was there till 10pm and no driver showed. I took screen shots of all the updates and for sure, the next day all had changed to 'sorry we missed you, our driver attempted delivery at 15.05pm! Complete with a card number of the card they left, which was again, like everyone is saying, none existent. Now if that were true, why would they have been apologising for the 'running a bit late?' On Sunday it stated it would be delivered 'today' and again no show. Got the parcel on the Monday with no apologies from anyone. I contacted their complaints person to tell them this is what happened with their Southall branch as I thought it was a local problem, sent them all the screen shots I took and explained the obvious discrepancies which did not support the lies which were now on their tracking system, all previous notices had been removed to suit their narrative. I got an apology and a 'we will look into it.' Next, I got the 'our tracker says the driver came at 15.05h' All the evidence I submitted didn't seem to matter. I got told that they will get the Southall branch to investigate. Not sure how the same branch I'm complaining about can investigate itself! I can tell from lots of the comments here and on Google that they do not care about customer experiences so do not hold out any hope for further communications. It's been more than a week since my last email to them.

DPD - 1) Get your drivers to deliver a few less parcels each and fine them for every delivery that goes wrong. 2) Have a maximum wait on your customer services of 5 mins (and that is too long) 3) Employ people in Customer Services who respect the customers and genuinely want to help. Adopt a customer satisfaction with staff after the call. 4) Insist that all supervisors give their name and sack any that are rude and confrontational with the customers. 5) Employ Customer Services staff who can actually listen and comprehend. 6) Sack the delusional fool who devised the pre-recorded message about callers behaviour which is just infuriating, insulting and guaranteed to further annoy the caller. Instead of this just concentrate on getting your staff to be less abusive and confrontational! 7) Try and respect every customer and their possessions as if it was yours. 8) When things go wrong, be accountable and sort them out quickly and efficiently with compensation. 9) Address your culture of dishonesty and fraud. 10) Provide the service that you advertise and publish your track record of first time deliveries on time against failures. If you find the above just too much for your inept management then just pack it in and stop pretending !!

Appalling service, no love for the customer whatsoever. You have to jump through automated hoops to get through to a human, my parcel should have arrived 3 days ago. I was told it would arrive today, I still have no parcel. If I could take a guess regarding their totally un-enthusiastic drivers, they either all over-worked or just bone idle, lazy gits.
