I will NEVER use this company again or any supplier that uses them. They are the most unreliable, dishonest and ignorant company ever. Their management is the pits. They are confrontational and show no respect to their customers or their property. Their customer services is absolutely useless and just insulting. DPD do not deserve your business and any supplier using them will lose credibility and custom - be warned and avoid !!

actually sick of one of the drivers that delivers to my area. always has a bad attitude, bangs the door as if he's tough, and leaves the parcels on the front porch in eye's view. Recently left boxes of my stock for my business on the front porch which is on the main road where a lot of thefts take place. He always looks like he's in a bad mood working, so just do him a favour and us and get rid of him.

Worst delivery company ever, Requested that the parcel be delivered to my neighbor as i was at work. Then get a text saying unable to deliver When i check online the driver has uploaded a picture of him ringing my door buzzer. On top of that waiting 15+minutes to speak to someone and even then no one answered DPD needs to sort there drivers out, no point giving the customers the opportunity to request an alternative delivery option if its not going to happen im fuming!!! and have no faith that the clown will even attempt to deliver to the correct address. oh how pissed he will be as im going to confront him about it as i just so happen to be off tomorrow

Package finally arrived today, four days late. The delay actually began with a false statement from DPD that I'd requested a "change of delivery address". Of course, I'd made no such request, and other people on this page have already recounted their experiences with this company's dishonesty. A tip. Don't waste time complaining to DPD. If you've ordered via Amazon, complain directly to Amazon and let them take it up. This worked for me. A further tip. Specify to any future vendor that if they intend using DPD, they should consider your order null, void and cancelled. Money talks, and word gets round eventually. Have courage. This outfit won't be in business much longer.

Dpd told me today that they’ve misplaced/lost my daughters 18th Birthday present. Then to top it off weren’t prepared to phone my local depot to give me an update and told me I’d get a response in 3-5 days. Do not use this delivery company, they do not take care of the items they carry nor do they care about the people sending or receiving them!!! Appalling

Waited 9 days for a delivery despite every day them saying it was out for delivery today and at 8pm would change to the next day This went on for 9days Absolute mystery to me how this company is still in business If you want your item delivered on time then do not use dpd An absolute shambles of a company

Absolutely useless and breathtakingly rude. First delivery they ignore the 'where to leave the parcel' information. Knowing I would be out the following day I fixed instructions to the front door. That was ignored. Customer service refused to answer my call. Found the depot at Southampton and met with the rudest man possible. Apparently it must have been my fault they couldn't deliver. Could not pick up parcel as I did not have an appointment. Returned having made an appointment. Two 36 mile trips later I eventually get my parcel. How are they still in business?

DPD broke my package, opened it, removed some of the contents, repackaged it (with DPD tape!) then delivered it as if nothing happened. Claimed the driver said it was perfect and looked good on the video. Disgraceful company.

Worst delivery company I have ever encountered! EE sent my phone with DPD. Because I could not be at home on time I chose a delivery slot for Saturday. On that slot nothing happened. Called customer services and they told me that this depot doesn't even make deliveries on the weekend!!! So why on earth give me an option of delivering on the weekend. After the conversation I was told that delivery is possible for next day but I won't be given the time of delivery. Honestly avoid if you can. Second time I deal with DPD and it most incompetent delivery company! P.S. Customer service was very nice though!

DPD do not care one bit about their customers, even their senior managers have to put a little message at the beginning of any call to their customer service line (Which incidentally is an 0343 number, so they charge you for their mistakes) to try to cool customers down. You think you have got somewhere with them, I’ll ring you back once I’ve spoken to the depot/driver. With no intention of responding back. So now I have said return the items back to the shop. Hence a 3k order from Hamilton lighting- returned. 1.5k order from ITS returned. If DPD can’t treat their customers with dignity and respect. Maybe returning the goods will stop the major wholesalers using this joke of a firm. I say to the senior manager who’s answer message states treat our staff with respect. I suggest your staff reciprocate this by doing what they say they are going to do, finally ditch the 0343 number.

I received a text from DPD that i was not home while i was sitting at home waiting for the delivery! The driver for some reason did not ring the bell on my door (I checked the bell - it's working and it's loud) or he called wrong number. He did not call my mobile, did not try to knock either. i called their customer services, was on the line for 30 min and no one picked up the phone, their online chat is automated system which tells you to call customer services. absolutely not possible to get in touch, and no point to rearrange delivery (on their automated system again), as it might be the same story. Very frustrating

I was expecting a parcel from Spain DPD sent me a email with the person and the time of delivery till there all good.... next day at the alocated delivery time the currier doesn’t arrive I check their website and appeared as delivered! There my Odiseey started! I called them like 50 times and almost every time they had a different excuse! Aside of course from the 40 times they did cut me while waiting to be transferred and else! Here are some of what they said on different calls but on the same very day... 1.- That the website is wrong and the parcel was at depot and on the morning would be delivered! Lying! 2.- that the parcel has been returned! When I asked the sensible question; Who sent it back? me or the sender? They reply; the Depot sent it back Why? They don’t know Followed by... Transfering call, transfering, transfering... cut off! 3.- the address I gave them does not match the delivery address! (Sometimes does sometimes doesn’t apparently! ) because I always have gave them the same parcel number! How many addresses this parcel have?! 4.- they can’t help me because they don’t deal with international parcels (I am calling always to the same number!) 5.- they need to call depot to inquiry and they’ll call me back... I insisted to wait on the line! But no I can’t and they hung up on me... This happened on several occasions and of course after promising me to call me back straight away! Some promise me as soon as 1 hour Up to Monday morning others! (Around 48 hours) thanks God I never held my breath! Because they never called! None of them! The treatment over the phone have been humiliating! The maners! The lack of honesty! The absolute chaos! I do over 95% of all my shopping online so I know! But it has been years since I felt this insulted! (Since those first years of EBay and those doggy delivery companies) And on top of everything... for a service that I paid for it with my delivery charge! Definitely No! Even to liquid gold if it comes delivered by DPD!!!!

Absolutely useless! No point in requesting re-delivery. Totally ignored. If you are lucky enough to speak to anyone, Customer Services is shocking!

Dreadful service. Failed to leave a delivery card after first attempt. Left a card with inadequate info. After the second and final attempt giving me no opportunity to make arrangements. It was extremely difficult to work out where the delivery had ended up and when I eventually got through to the local depot I was informed it had been returned to the sender. The girl I spoke to was totally ineffectual but apologetic. There are no helpful details on the delivery card and the website gives a customer contact number which charges an exorbitant fee for the privilege of making an enquiry. What a rubbish service! If I could give no stars I would.

I must say that personally for me DPD are by far the best delivery company that I use for my business, I have never to date been let down and Simon in particular is always very helpful, courteous and always delivers within the time slot I am given. More often than not he has to leave deliveries in a safe place for me and does this without fail. I appreciate I always seem to have the same driver so this in itself is a huge benefit but great service for me from Simon at DPD.

Absolutely appalling. No published number for enquiries, all calls (even the help on line) answered by computers. Two failed deliveries simply because the driver couldn't/wouldn/t walk 50m because of roadworks. Refused to call me. After tracking him on line, I walked up to meet him on day 2, and he simply drove past me. This was Daniel. Vimal in so called 'customer service' refused to call back and simply sent a stock answer which was irrelevant to my email. I leave to do charity work abroad tomorrow, and simply cannot arrange even to collect my parcel which I need for my work. Completely and utterly appalled by this so called 'service'.

Must be the worst customer 'Services' department ever - no wonder they mention rude customers on their recorded 'greeting'!!!. This department is deluded and seems intent on annoying and frustrating their 'valued???' customers who have the patience to wait over 30 - 45 minutes to get through. They are aggressive, dishonest and seem to have zero attention span. Their 'training' seems to brainwash them into finding the closest scripted answer that they think might be relevant, but that often just reveals that they just aren't listening. Everything is geared up to make your blood boil and it is no wonder that customers show their frustration with this. Reading these reviews shows just how long this has been a problem and how little (if anything) they have done to address it. They cause confrontation and show little respect for the customer who pays their salaries. Of course they also have a thankless task trying to defend DPD's diabolical, haphazard and broken 'delivery' service which is sadly just an unreliable mess and more like a lottery. Also when they screw up - which is often, they seem unaccountable and if you think it is near impossible to get through to anyone helpful at Customer Services, try getting them to compensate for you 'lost' parcel or late deliveries and all your wasted time - no chance !! DPD are a disgrace and in this competitive sector where there is much good choice DPD should be avoided - as should any suppliers who use them.

Parcel delivered on time today - a first after the last few months of disappointments and frustrations with DPD. Very nice driver but he admitted that DPD was really badly managed and that their overall attitude in management and depot was one of cynicism towards their customers. He said for now he was just taking the money and running but often had to 'massage' the route and deliveries to get through his near impossible schedule. Guess this meant falsifying signatures/instructions etc.He said they all did but this was rarely picked up on....Very interesting and I'm surprised he had time to chat !!
