I live in a 95 apartment extra care facility and was expecting a rather expensive item coming this morning, I got a text saying the delivery driver was coming between 10 - 11 am , at 10.30 I got a message saying sorry the driver couldn't deliver because I wasn't home , though I was in the living room. I rang our receptionist who told me the driver wanted to leave his 3 parcels in reception, she told him it's his responsibility to deliver the parcels to the individual apartments, he refused to do this because he didn't want to have to walk around a large building so he didn't bother with any of the delivery's, I then got a message to say I could go to a post office and collect them myself, as a disabled person this is inconvenient, after completing he was supposed to be coming back but the latest text says we'll redeliver Monday, Dpd in my opinion are the worst out of all delivery companies we have delivering to our care facility in Hull.

Turned up today with only partial consignment, when I said I was not prepared to accept it as the 3 package the only one with any value was missing drive took photonof me holding the first 2 packages in the consignment and recorded the job as complete. Impossible to talk to anyone, currently £800 of purchase has been lost by DPD but registered as delivered. Third time in 6 months, this company is a joke.

The driver took a picture from a car of a different address. My parcel was supposed to be delivered to a hotel (doors opened). Lazy and unreliable service! Avoid at all costs!!! I am making an official complaint. I have a proof of a wrong pic he sent from a Car! They did not ever try to deliver. The driver’s name is Jatinder!

Driver said unable to deliver but took a photo of my neighbours gates. I tried their WhatsApp service which was bloody awful. Rang customer service it was suggested I leave driver notes on what my gate looks like and contact the seller to get them to sort it out. Basically it was raining and my driveway is long so he couldn't be assed to get out the van. I needed that parcel and now I've got to wait 3 days for the seller to respond before I can get any resolution. Annoys me no end that I waited in for that parcel and now I've got to contact DPD, the poor sod that sent it with them and waste my time even though I paid for a service.

Absolutely rude customer service. Paid for extra priority delivery on Saturday. Not once did the package leave the depot.

DPD's reputation is a myth. This company is really rather terrible. The delivery driver 2 weeks ago demanded I help them because how dare me order 4 boxes (not heavy in the slightest), the driver was upset because why should he make 2 trips to my door?" was what he was muttering. I called DPD about this experience, the lady on the phone suggested that their drivers have the right to deliver parcels if there are more than 1 box per address. The horror. So today I can only assume the same driver fake attempted my delivery that was due between 12.08pm and 1.08pm- I was at home waiting for this parcel. Close to 1pm I check tracking update... It has been updated to 'parcel has been refused'... by who???!!! This behaviour from your drivers is unacceptable DPD. For the longest time I have often wondered why Hermes/Evri bigger than DPD- well it is becoming abundantly clear. Did you know you cannot drive a van that is 5 years old to deliver DPD parcels. Someone explain to DPD it is not the condition of the van that makes customers happy. Absolutely pathetic, but it is 2024 customer service is in extinction.

Disrespectful and Dishonest Service I had a very disappointing experience with one of your drivers during a scheduled collection. The driver was incredibly disrespectful and did not even attempt to pick up my parcel, despite the collection being confirmed. To make matters worse, He falsely reported on the DPD app that there was "no parcel to collect," which is completely untrue. The parcel was ready and waiting at the designated spot. It’s unacceptable to experience such poor customer service, especially from a company that I’ve relied on in the past. I expect honesty and professionalism, but this driver fell short on both counts. I hope DPD will address these issues to prevent this from happening to other customers in the future.

Disgusting THIEVES! Avoid at all costs. They blatantly steal packages, add a black photo as 'proof of delivery', mark packages 'handed to X', while not delivering and stealing them. When confronted, DPD customer service said nothing can be done, supporting their drivers in STEALING.

Everything, delayed for over 2 days now with no updates, can’t speak or contact anyone to find out more. WhatsApp is a joke service with only robots. Wish the company would cease to operate

The worst. Tried to deliver to the wrong address on the wrong street. I called to have them deliver to correct address. On hold for 20 minutes waiting..... They hung up the call. It's always the same with dpd. I truly hate the experience every time I have to receive it parcels from them. Utter incompetence.

I was waiting for my parcel whole day according to their time slot and he wasn’t attendant at my address or contact me and put in their system saying I missed my parcel what a worst and scam service I received from dpd middleton depot Driver name is Mark who gives false information to their depot saying no one attended Never used this dpd again all scam

Driver obviously made no attempt to find the house. They took a photo of the gate that leads to my neighbours gardens as proof that they had tried to deliver! If they really had tried surely they would have photographed my front door! At the time of of the supposed delivery I was in my kitchen at the window where I could be seen by anyone who was making a genuine attempt to deliver a package. I received a text at 18:50 telling me that they were sorry they missed me! I was previously sent a text telling me that the delivery would be between 19:58 and 19:58. It looks to me that the driver was just keen to get finished and made no proper attempt to delver the package. Very poor service, don't use them!

Useless company. Did not attempt to deliver. Tracker shows my parcel stayed in their depot only 24 miles away for a couple of days & then they decided to return it to the vendor as could not comply within time-frame. Suspect some poor service contract between DPD & vendor, where poor performance is scored for how many parcels delivered outside 5 day limit, but totally aborted deliveries are discounted.

The driver Malik did not make any attempt to deliver my parcel. He stopped his van at the roadside. Made no attempt to enter the car park then drove away. 30 seconds later I got a txt saying the couldn't deliver as no one was home !!!!!! I'm sitting here watching him failing to do his job. I now have to pick up the parcel at a shop that's not on a bus route and I don't have a car so its a taxi there and back!! PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A DELIVERY DRIVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Not happy with the delivery of my neighbours food parcel, which was left on the doorstep, no knock at the door and it was left standing on it end ,it says on the box to try 17 or 19, which did not happen . the drive gave a me a load of grief when I went out to take it in, saying to me what you you looking at and what’s your problem , very rude

3 times this week, I have waited in for small items I have orders through Amazon.. and each time.. “sorry we have missed you”.. and the second one I got a useless picture of a half empty carpet…? What am I meant to do with that?… then Friday afternoon we watched the DPD drive into the estate, stop in front of our house.. pause then decide.. nah… and reverse out.. all caught on our doorstep bell camera may I add… and now the items have been returned to Amazon to I get to do it all over again. Can’t wait. I have been told often that “ oh DPD, yeah that’s what they do, if that can’t be bothered, they just don’t bother” and you get a “sorry we missed you”. I would really sort this issue out as you really have quite the rep.

Yet again DPD give me a delivery time, and then on the day have the cheek to say sorry we missed you. They made no attempt to deliver, and make out they have, Shame on them. I would never use them to deliver my parcel, and shows the companies that do use them to also be very poor. shameful business practice.
