Must be the worse delivery service around. Twice in a row, parcels not delivered to my home in Limpsfield, not even bothering to ring bell and I am left at my age to go and collect. Now making a note to avoid retailers who use DPD

Here to write YET another bad review for DPD, just a month after I had left another review and was assured of proper service going forward. The driver chooses to pretend we are not at home, and either deliberately delivers the parcel to the wrong house or delivers it to a collection point (miles away from our location!). When I try to complain about it in the chat function in the app, either I get robots, or the customer service people are rude and end the chat or hang up. We used to prefer DPD above all other delivery services in the past — in the last few months, this has definitely changed. Absolutely appalling service, and giving Hermes serious competition in whose service can be worse.

Shocking delivery service!!!! Im now avoiding sellers that use them due to DPD being so bad. I constantly day after day requested to deliver to my neighbour which they ignored, finally after lots of calls and complaints was delivered 5 days late!!! yes 5 days

Failed to deliver twice, 2nd even left a note on door for them! Utterly useless and couldn’t be bothered.

Waited did not pitch then like magic SMS that I missed the delivery, all the driver had to do is knock on the door like anyone giving a time slot and open it unless the driver was lost with no signal just be honest and tell me you have a problem you just make the situation worst that I missed the delivery when I was at home waiting for your driver.

DPD is one of the worst delivery services I know! They almost always say they missed me when l am waiting at home, do not allow re-bootkng,have terrible delays when dropping off the parcel at local delivery point( shops) and do not offer any proper service of support, like phone contact or competent chat. Total timewaisters. A nightmare. Can only imagine this company pays their staff poorly,to do such a horrible service.

Cut up on a School run today by one of your drivers, 20 plate can ending in YDP Where there are flashing school sign he should drive with Caution!!!!

What a horrible experience i have had with DPD. They repeatedly say that they have missed me when i have been at home waiting. At one point they said that my 2 items have been delivered when i only got one. The proof of delivery photos they provided were obviously of two different houses, one was mine and the other who knows. I have had one excuse after the other. At one point i was told their sat navs must playing up, which is odd as they managed to deliver one of the items. I also have other items supposedly being delivered by them from another company and i am going through the same scenario. Their drivers don't seem to know where any address is. The fact that they class them selves as the Delivery Experts is an absolute joke and lie. From now on if i purchase anything which needs a delivery, i will ask the seller who is the courier they are using and if it is DPD i will not make the purchase unless they use a different courier. If i could give a minus score i would. An absolutely awful service. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely incompetent company! I live at number 1 the street sign is attached to my garden wall, I have three number 1 house signs on my house. I am the first house on the street you have to drive past my past my house to get to the other houses. After the driver tried to deliver my parcel to number 2 and leave, I stopped the van on the way out of the street. The driver took a look at me then one of my (three) house number signs then decided to just drive off! Seconds later I received a message saying sorry you wasn’t in (after waiting all day for my parcel) Rang customer service haha what a joke.. just got told the driver might come back or he might not it’s up to him and what a surprise he never come back! I will never order from a company that uses this incompetent delivery company again! 0/10 Stars

Matthew from Cumbernauld is an absolute nightmare. He lost one of my parcels tried to blackmail and pay me off to say he hadn’t. He came to our building and shouted abuse at me. Now he sits in the van and says no one is in. Quite often not even on our street. We’ve raised complaints and nothing gets done about it. Such a shame as the other drivers are fab.

Worst company ever. Blatantly lied about attempting delivery. I paid for a special delivery (Sunday) looks like the driver was running late and simply pretended he’d called at my address. No calling card left and a picture supplied supposedly showing my property. It blatantly wasn’t it was a picture of a commercial building and not even a house. Looking at the picture I reckon driver was running late or simply could not be bothered to attempt the delivery. I bet I was not the only one. I live in a suburb of Birmingham not the Wild West frontier. Will be more careful in future when ordering online and check if the company uses DPD. I understand that things don’t always go to plan (I work in the delivery industry myself) but I don not appreciate being lied to.

I would leave 0 stars if I could!! Waiting for a next day delivery a week later! Driver say’s delivered even when I was on the phone to their useless customer service! Live chat also rubbish when the advisor ends chat when they want. Promise calls back only to wait to end of day and still nothing! Being told by customer service that “driver having difficulty find address” when detailed instructions and my contact number left in delivery instructions/notes. Honestly do not know how they rate themselves on such disgusting service- AVOID!!!!!

Terrible - no customer service. On 5 January driver Valentin collected my parcel to be sent to France and on my doorstep removed customs forms saying not necessary. After innumerable emails, calls, chats, on 28 January I received an email saying my parcel was found and being returned to me. It had been all the way to France, sat in French Customs for weeks and sent back with no explanation. I was charged £22.12 for nothing.

I can't start to describe how inept a company and service DPD provide you would have more luck asking a group of nursery children to deliver a parcel to you and more chance of getting a coherent conversation out a of a mentally impaired dog.

Absolutely terrible service! Paid for next day delivery and the driver attempted to deliver my parcel to the wrong address, when I got the message to say I had to pick the parcel up because I wasn’t in i rang customer service and they were no help at all basically there was nothing they could do and I had to go pick the parcel up I’d paid to be delivered! Asked for a manager to ring me back which I’m still waiting for! The customer service is terrible also, spoke to 3 members of the customer service team and they just didn’t want to know one even left the chat! Will avoid this company in future as the parcel was very expensive and what if the wrong address actually took my parcel in!

I sent flowers to a friend but they never arrived after much stress trying to sort the problem the supplier agreed to send another bouquet and suprise suprise they never arrived either. Reason given on both occasions, driver couldn’t find the address. This is despite having phone numbers of recipient as requested to help. But no calls were made hence I will never purchase another thing to be delivered by DPD, disgusting service.

sabi is an incompetent driver who does not read instructions! Putting my pregnancy at risk by not bringing the packages to the door despite calls to DPD depo and further notes on app/instructions/photos of flat door.

Send a wheel with DPD, they lost it. Demanded i prove i had sent it, proof os the value, and that it had not been delivered, when they own system stated it had not been delivered. Finally after they had agreed, they had lost the item and its value. They then just rejected the claim, giving me no way for me to question why or complain.
