I unfortunately had to make a claim for a lamp that was collected from the seller by a DPC courier and delivered to my door. The lampshade and base were well packaged. Just about everything is on their excluded items list for sending. What's the point in the courier if their is such a list? My lamp base was smashed and it can only be because the parcel was roughly handled. The shade itself was in a box inside the box and fine. Although base which is quite delicate, was wrapped in bubble wrap and the box was lined with large bubble wrap. My claim was refused! Any excuse not to pay out for their couriers handling of the package. Never use them again.

Absolutely awful. They didn't even attempt to deliver it because it was small enough to be posted , they just left it at a shop

I waited in my house for a delivery, they never even knocked on or rang my doorbell, just shoved a depot card through the door. I went out to stop the driver but he drove off, blatantly ignoring me. Then today, found out my parcel was being delivered by dpd between 12:45-1:45. I was worried I was going to be late in, so I had a safe place specified just in case. I arrive home exactly 12:45, to find dpd driving off from my house, and not leaving my parcel in a safe place when it does not need a signature. Abysmal company.

The usual !! This has happened on 3 occasions now. I wait in for the delivery and get a text to say 'we were not able to deliver your parcel as you were not home', even though I have sat in and waited especially!!!!!!!!!! If I now see my package is going to be delivered by DPD I ask for it to be sent by another company.

The same parcel had to be organised twice as the first delivery was completely messed up, the second time it was organised for a Monday delivery so decided to WFH on the Monday, only to be updated on Monday at 11am with a message from DPD, and I quote "There's a delay with your parcel and we've now sorted it" what they actually meant was that your parcel is now arriving tomorrow as we've messed things up yet again. They are the worst delivery company I have ever dealt with!!!

My parcel was left outside of my property and by the time I got home was missing. DPD consistency said they delivered’ correctly’ and deny liability or support proof of delivery. It’s the worst courier I can think of. Absolutely disgusting and utterly unprofessional

Multiple missed deliveries even though there has always been someone home. Ive spoken to DPD on the phone 3 times, only to be told “your parcel will arrive tomorrow”. It is now 4 days late and I am still without a phone. DPD have the most incompetent and useless employees in existence. How hard is it to get an order to a house on time? even with extra instructions and descriptions of the house and surrounding area (obviously to dumb it down for the smooth brain drivers). I will refuse to use this service ever again.

DPD delivered my £999 Brand new tablet to the WRONG address, and after almost 2 days of phone calls and being lied to I have to phone the company I purchased it from and escalate it there. Absolutely HORRENDOUS service, the call centre staff have zero clue but to follow their stupid scripts. I hope this company goes bankrupt.

Absolutely awful. They didn't give me the option to choose a time-slot for when my new phone would be delivered so that I could make sure it arrives at a time when I'm going to be in to collect. Attempted twice and nobody home both times (obviously) and instead of giving me other delivery options such as leaving with a neighbour or dropping off at a nearby shop for me to collect, they've decided to send it back to tEE and I have to order it again after EE cancels this order.

I asked for a delivery to be made to a shop for me to pick it. They lost my order (500£) but marked it as made to myself, and since November (it’s mid February) they did not finish their investigation/warehouse search to be refunded by the seller. They don’t care about you, they would only talk to the seller and will just ignore you.

Waited in for driver. watched him take a photo of wrong address without getting out of cab, sped off with me chasing him. Got an annoying notification 'sorry we missed you'. You cannot collect from DPD depots anymore. Is this because they are changing their service to favour us collecting from pick up points or pay £4.99 for delivery? I will not purchase again if DPD are the couriers as it is not the first time. Was palatable when you could get to depot if they didnt deliver but now waiting another 48 hours before able to pick up item? All within a 2 mile radius :(

Wouldn't deliver, Item arrived on time. But driver (georgy) wouldn't leave parcel unless I opened my front door ( couldn't as dogs were loose) So he the picked the parcel up and literally threw it back in the van and drove off. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. If it's damaged when I do Collect it from my local store tomorrow I will be back on the phone. Already filed a complaint.

I wish there is no star in this review. I most of their delivery men are liars especially one called Rhys delivering in Abbeywood SE2 area of London. This is the second time he has done it. A a parcel was due between 1-2 pm and I was at home waiting and he logged on the system that I refused delivery. I drove under heavy traffic to their office in Dartford the staff who answered the intercom showed no empathy at all.
