The fact that there is no way to get in touch with the driver is shocking. Yesterday I missed the delivery and they were supposed to deliver again this morning and I just got the message that the parcel was refused as the contact name wasn't recognised. There is no option to call or message the driver and he didn't try to contact me either. I called customer service and the woman told me that the first line of address was missing, so the driver probably wanted to deliver it to someone else. I asked her how is that even possible when the driver was at my house just the day before and he even took a picture that I missed the delivery! Then she told me that someone will get in touch with me in an hour, which means the driver will already be at the other side of the city. This is all very stressful especially when the parcel is very expensive. DPD, you need to get this sorted.

I spent the best part of a morning trying to get a parcel sent, the web site is shockingly poor ! I filled in the details sender address, recipient address etc then clicked on the link to find a drop off point local to me, upon returning to the original page all details I had filled in the forms had gone. Foolishly I persisted, and the delivery was booked / paid for, within a few seconds an email confirmation was received, complete with half a delivery address ! This didn't inspire confidence and so half an hour was wasted on live chat with DPD to try and find out why the address was incomplete (incidentally a prerequisite for messaging is a DPD order number THE SITE DID NOT LIKE THE ONE IT HAD GIVEN MY ORDER !) I took my parcel to the drop off point (a Homebase store) but the staff could not process the order, apparently it needed a bar code and they have no means to add one even though that is the procedure required as outlined on the web page and on the print out with the QR code that you are asked to take to the drop off point ! I left the store and before leaving the car park, I reached for my mobile, cancelled my order and requested a refund ! To compound my annoyance, the cheeky bastards say they will have to review my right to a refund, well let them review I paid by Paypal so the money will be refunded. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THESE CLOWNS !

If I could, I'd give DPD zero stars because the service is terrible. I was expecting a parcel (15976865201533P) which I waited in for. The parcel was supposed to be delivered between 11.00 and 12.00. At 11.45, a text was received in which DPD lied and claimed that nobody was in to complete the delivery. This is totally false and a lie on behalf of DPD. I have been in all morning and waited, looking out of the window, waiting for the delivery. I would never send a parcel by DPD and I would urge everyone never to use DPD.

I agree with other reviewers. Liars. Send a message when you have paid an extra charge for a specific time slot and waited in for delivery and they then send a text to say they couldn’t deliver when in fact they have not even tried. This can be proved too. Not only do we have a Ringo we also have a camera and no one has even attempted to deliver, just a text sent to say they have. Would love to see the picture where they say they have tried to deliver. Unbelievable. Now we know why Amazon has the great reputation they do and deservedly so.

If I could give no stars, I would. Terrible service and total liars. I waited in all day, then received a text saying that they tried to deliver my parcel, but couldn't as nobody was in. Total lies, I've been sat in my house all day!! They then said they wouldn't try and re-deliver and that I would have to go to the local shop to collect. Why people keep using these useless idiots is beyond me. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!

DPD is a terrible delivery. They said that the parcel will be received tomorrow until 5 days later, still haven't received my package even though it still says delivery tomorrow.

It is not the first time, I order the item from Amazon, the items have the status of "Delivered", which in reality was NOT delivered by DPD! but in the end, they don't even know where it is. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

They tried to deliver my parcel the day before the agreed schedule day . The driver never rang the door and then I got a notification saying my parcel is 2 miles away in a co-op shop . I was so annoyed that first they didn’t attempt another delivery on the actual date they were meant to deliver and nobody even bother to notify me that they were to deliver early .

DPD drivers are absolutely incompetent. Several times my deliveries didn’t come but I received emails informing “I’ve missed my deliver” whilst sitting at home. They’ve sent my parcels to a pick up shop which wasn’t even close to me. According to Customer service they are not able to change the delivery option so therefore service users are suffering the consequences because of their own employees. Be careful if you get a guy called ‘Mubaasar’ as your delivery man cause he will not even attempt to ring the bell!!

Utterly rubbish. Ordered through amazon but they decided to post through dpd... great,,, now I knew it was going to be a ball ache to get my parcel. My house is a little awkward to find - but every other delivery service (even the infamous Hermes) gets there in the end.. Clearly no attempt was made. My wife was in all day so not missed.

Absolutely terrible service. Husband took a day off work (unpaid) to wait in for the arranged delivery. They “forgot” to put my parcel on the van. I only found this out when I rang to find out what time it would be delivered. Got the phone put down on me 3 times and laughed at by the advisors. Promised calls back-24 hours later I’m still waiting!! Then told because it was my fault the item hadn’t been delivered(?! Despite being told that my parcel had been missed by the depot and never went on the van!) they couldn’t deliver it the next day and I would have to wait until Monday. Rude and unhelpful: an absolute disgrace.

Words fail me on how incompetent this company is. Two emails and text messages to tell me my parcel hasn't been able to be delivered. I've sat all day in my office looking at the drive. No delivery. Then the picture they took is of the secondary school next door which is open btw. Took the time to drive out to the village but couldn't be arsed to actually look for the address. Why is this company even trading? Karcher are a bunch of idiots for employing them to deliver their products.

Gave me a one-hour timeslot on a Friday morning when I had other things to do and told me it could not be changed. Fine, I scheduled my plans around that. Then the parcel did not arrive within the one hour window. About 30 minutes past the end of the one hour window, they gave me an updated delivery time. The parcel did not arrive by that time, either. It is now an hour and a half past the end of the 'one-hour window' and my parcel is not here. It is a cake that I need for a birthday party tomorrow, but I cannot sit here all day waiting for it. Bad service, inaccurate timeframe. It is also irritating that they say you cannot change the one-hour window, but they can apparently change it whenever they feel like it.

Paid extra but received item late. Rang up and the lady said we can deliver the item next day, well I didn't pay for next day delivery. If you say you are going to deliver on the day in the time slot you provided you should keep to it. When I eventually got the item the delivery man was holding the item in the corner so it bent. It was card stock so needed to be handled better. I had to send the item back as it's no use to me now.

What went wrong well everything said no-one was home even though my cctv shows no driver even got to my address. The photo the driver uploaded to prove that he had tried to deliver showed a car send a hedge both of which I don't own. The sender then changed to express delivery before noon on next day. Dpd emails then said delivery after 2.30 And they want more directions even though I've installed the DPD app using what 3 words. Words fail me at the levels of indifference and incompetence shown

Very angry Very angry. Message to say no signature needed but then parcel taken to ‘local’ collection point which was anything but local. No option to contact them or re-arrange delivery. I had to drive into town, pay car parking and waste an hour collecting. To make it worse, loads of messages saying I was helping the planet by collecting. Really???

The DPD delivery drivers do not even attempt to drop your package it's clear as the picture is usually a random lane or house. I don't know why any companies use them!
