Awful.Emails to say delivery on way do wait in .then simply stops outside house and drives off again. How a company can survive with such appalling reviews is beyond me

Still no delivery, 9 days have been passed, it was booked as next day delivery ——————————————————- Update: Saturday, 2 Dec (day 9) ——————————————————- Shame on you DPD! They have missed delivery on 1st Dec. So I have rescheduled it for 2Dec, because they can't do by themselves, they expect customer to take action if they missed the delivery. No 1 hour window or any no other update given, called DPD and asked why I haven't received the update and they told me that they can't deliver today, now this has to be on Monday, I was late to reschedule my delivery, They are now holding two parcels, one from Amazon and other from mobiles.co.uk Parcel now in DPD depot and I can't go there and pick up. Again my another Sunday wasted DPD sucks!

As a driver I would recommend not to use dpd as they bully their drivers and force them to work under the most intense conditions that not even a prisoner endures, if you finish at twelve you cannot debrief till two and if you finish at twelve you have to wait if there is a five o’clock collection days are 13 hours long most of the time and you are getting paid for what you collect and deliver at the most of two pound a stop please do not use so the government will do something about these thugs

I totally agree with the last comment. All these bad reviews highlighting very similar problems and attitudes from DPD again and again whilst DPD remains anonymous, unaccountable and silent. It is very obvious that they do not care about reliability, professionalism, honesty or respect towards their customers and clients. They have the most condescending and rude Customers Services department ever who can only resort to lies and insults in their pitiful attempts to fudge over the very common failings of DPD's useless 'service'. This company does not deserve your trust or money - they are unethical, irresponsible and frankly useless. Suppliers should not associate themselves with this bunch of losers and they will lose many customers if they do. Also why would any individual trust this bunch with their valued parcels with such awful reviews and reports of customers experiences. Parcel delivery should not be a lottery and no company that disrespects it's customers (and itself) should survive. There are many better choices out there.

I challenge Sinead Crooke to explain her truly abysmal rude, dishonest, inefficient and confrontational 'Customer Services' department on this site. They are cynical and the 'supervisors' seem to be thicker than the first level (if you have the patience to wait 40 minutes to get through !!) What is the point of this useless department. There are few businesses where shutting it's Customer Services Department would do them more good - this says a lot about DPD who were once quite a good service ...they are now totally unreliable, dishonest and disinterested - AVOID !!

No delivery, 8 days have been passed, it was booked as next day delivery ——————————————————- Update: Friday, 30th Nov (day 7) ——————————————————- Still waiting for delivery, DPD didn’t deliver parcel after one hour window given, updated delivery status as “Delivery refused, duplicate order”, cancelled deliver at last minute, he was in my area, called DPD and mobiles.co.uk couple of times, nothing happened, DPD rescheduled delivery for 1 Dec. ——————————————————- Update: Saturday, 1 Dec (day 8) ——————————————————- Shame on you DPD! Given one hour delivery window, was waiting for them, received following messages driver is running little late, will deliver shortly Couldn't be delivered, premises were closed I was home waiting for them, called mobiles.co.uk, looking for Sophie but couldn't reach to her, no help given except they contacted to DPD and re-arranged delivery for 2 Dec In the meantime contracted director of DPD customer care, received reply promptly stating that one of her exec team will handle this issue. Received an email from exec team, asking me to wait until Monday (worst case scenario) if still I haven't receive my parcel then they will do something. Again my Saturday wasted, DPD sucks!

DPD have left a delivery today- in the blue box supplied by my local authority to recycle paper. How stupid can they get? Fortunately today is not a collection day for the local authority and I got home in time to rescue it. No suggestion of putting it in the designated safe place. Another time ...................

I ordered an item on a Sunday to be delivered to my home address. The next day I received a text from DPD saying that they would deliver it the following day (Tuesday), but not to my home address, rather to Halfords, "as per my instrucions". More than a year previously I had asked for delivery to my local Halfords store, but not this time. Their automated systems had changed my delivery address without my consent. Anyway, the parcel didn't arrive on Tuesday. Or Wednesday. Or Thursday. Each day, the tracking system said it had been delayed at the Hinckley depot and would be delivered the following day. I phoned DPD on Thursday, and after a recorded message from the head of customer services asking me to "be nice" because "there's no excuse for abuse" and a 20 minute wait to be connected to a person, I was told that the parcel was being relabelled (again) and would be delivered on Friday. To cut a long story short, it was only after several such conversations and complaint escalations that I eventually received the package the following Wednesday, eight days after the due date. In addition, I had asked for it to be delivered to a neighbour, but it had been left behind the bins at the side of the house, very visible to anyone walking past. And what's more, the contents had been smashed at one end, most likely due to mishandling at the DPD depot in the preceding nine days. It was a stressful, frustrating and very time consuming experience, and judging by other reviewers' comments, this sort of thing happens regularly with DPD. My recommendation would be to use a different courier where possible, and to encourage your retailer to do the same.

DPD is one of the worst carrier services out there and it is impossible to reach the local people who actually do the deliveries. In my case I am SURE the local people could have sorted it -- but no, we had to do everything through the central office. I live on an island with boat service only 5 days a week -- so when my parcel reached the port on Weds. and was scheduled for delivery, I called DPD to make sure they transferred it to the local carrier in time to get it onto the next morning's 6.30 boat. The guy from the main office spoke to the local people (I suspect, completely missing the point as well as the boat) -- and then assured me that yes, they would. In fact they did not deliver it until the next day, several hours after the boat had sailed. There was no boat the following day. They never is. The parcel contained meat.....it still hasn't arrived but my guess is that it will be spoiled by the time it does--all because of DPD's system which insists on doing everything through the central office and not letting you speak to the local carriers. And you can only speak to the main office after a lengthy wait on a torturous phone tree! NEVER AGAIN -- if a company will only deliver through DPD, I will buy what I need elsewehre.

Dismally bad and willfully misleading customers. Time slots a joke as no delivery 3 times in succession. Computer generated customer service replies downright dishonest. Stated driver had been delayed, odd then that he drove past my address on time allocated. Chased him in my car only to be told delivery was in another van. More pestering customer service lo and behold same driver comes back with parcel. Local customer service helpful but only able to get their number from the driver. DPD should not accept the business if they are not capable. I will very likely not order goods from companies who use their service.

DPD what a shambles of unorganized mis communication, they have given delivery dates of 26th November through to 30th November everyday yet still not delivered, even customer services have rung me direct to promise delivery the next day of my parcel but apparently the depot cannot locate my parcel. The fact that the director Sinead has to put a message on the answering machine saying don't be abusive to her staff due to DPDs failures shows there must be many , never use

Dont use this company. My husbands ordered from Bose and a card was left by DPD saying they would come back the next day. I stayed in all the next day and nobody returned. When I found the tracking number, it said that we had refused to accept the item (even though we had paid for it???) and it was sent back to the sender. Sounds like somebody didn't want to come back !!

What on earth has happened to them. They were the best in terms of reliability and the wonderful 1 hour slot, like clockwork Now a regular shambles of going to the wrong addresses, claiming attempts at delivery and the rest. No missing items yet, but someone needs to take this company and get it back into order - soon
