Same as many other Customers-tell us the truth . Driver is running late ! . Look on tracking and he’s back at the depot!

I wish I could give no stars. I was waiting for a delivery on the Friday and monitoring the tracking system when I saw that they had supposedly attempted delivery on the Thursday but I had ‘refused to accept’. I was very confused as I got no text or email warning me that they were going to try and deliver and I was in all day on Thursday by the door waiting on a tradesman. They definitely didn’t come when they said they did. I called to query but was told my order number didn’t match my postcode so they wouldn’t talk to me and I had to call the seller. Seller confirmed that the details were correct and told me not to worry as DPD were obligated to attempt delivery at last 2 times. They didn’t try again - item was shipped to the Midlands immediately after the supposed attempt on Thursday and returned to Germany immediately. Item is now sold out and so we’re left in the lurch. No one has replied to my emails or formal complaint, and I can’t get through on the phone. Absolute cowboys with no transparency or accountability.

They will not allow drivers to deliver early, do not make any allowances for toilet breaks, traffic jams, businesses not opening gates, not being able to park, and they only give a short window for each job which is not changeable. Feel sorry for the drivers.

Terrible delivery company Never find address (only delivery company that fail to find us) Not able to speak to someone direct to sort issue Just awful awful company So far 20 mins the agent has been typing - after admitting the driver clearly went to wrong house (sent a photo of a property I can’t even find on my street) Still waiting!

I can’t actually give them no stars but would if I could! Apparently delivered a package but not to me, then confirmed they had lost it in the depot. No problem - will deliver Saturday instead of Friday. Then Monday (but realised it’s a bank holiday) so then Tuesday. Called today to see what time and no - it’s tomorrow (Wednesday) now - though won’t hold my breath. What a total shambles. 3 managers not bothered to call back, director of customer service and exec team all doing nothing.

Sunday morning, hasty driver didn't read the address properly(road|mews). Showed up at the wrong place. Didn't even try to call. Recieved a mail explaining I missed the delivery. Contacted immediately the customer service to explain the situation and have the driver come back. Nope, didn't care at all. The advisor on the web chat not helpfully at all. Saying the driver could come back today but no guarantee. Saying someone else will come back the next day (aka bank holiday). The make it right service is even more useless. Overall pay extra for a next day delivery and get it when they want to deliver it.

My parcel is showing as arrived at the depot and the online chat person tells me it has not been scanned in since the till today the 27 and i need to go back to the seller to raise a query. Are there no procedures and checks to see if parcels get delivered. Seems like a free for all. Something goes missing no one knows and no one is bothered. Will never use DPD

Customer service a disgrace. Automated answering service. Eventually when you get thought to a human being . It’s a grunt of a reply(Hold) Embarrassing

If I could give zero I would!! It is not just that one parcel was delivered to someone else about a mile away and I am still waiting for the other. But when I simply want to talk to a human being to find out what is going on I have to pay a standard charge of £6 !!!!!!!!! I am still on hold now as I write this but will not hang up as that will be no parcel and £6 down!!!

Please do not use this company!! They continue to use COVID as an excuse 5 months later instead of notifying their customers before paying for shipment that their packages take two weeks to arrive. They’ve put me in a terrible position and had my package in their possession for a week before it even left the country.

A zero is too good for this company. I had an urgent delivery needed for an event I was attending next day and was leaving at 4am to drive there. My Mac failed so this was a new one needed to do a big presentation. The DPD driver went to a house about 20 metres away as we saw him (not for the first time I may add as he done the same about 2 months ago and surely knew where we stayed this time). Next thing I get a text to say he tried to deliver but we were not in and a photo of my neighbours door, which was also strange as their car was in the driveway so I called right away and explained the urgency as I was leaving at 4am next day and needed it with me for an event I was going to. The agent said she will phone the driver (at best he could only have been 1/2 mile away) and she said she spoke to him and gave my mobile number and he would call soon as he only had one more drop and return with the parcel. 1 hour later and no call, I then speak to DPD on chat as the telephone number is useless who tell me the parcel is back at the depot???? My house 1/2 mile - depot 30 miles. I explain I need it for an critical and urgent event I was attending and I was promised the driver would return but was told time again, nothing we can do the depot is closed. So I was clearly LIED to, the driver couldn't be bothered to find our house that has a big sign on the gate with the house name right on the road side, he clearly couldn't be bothered to phone and come back 1/2 mile to deliver my critical parcel, and at 8pm the person on chat said nothing we can do and closed the chat. Must have been end of the shift for Ritesh in India . I even said that this parcel was so critical I would go to the depot and asked for someone to go there and get the parcel. Nope we wont do that for you I was told. They didn't care it was critical. They didn't care that I will lose the contract. They didn't care that the driver didn't bother to get in touch and didn't return, but kept being told "we can deliver it tomorrow" even when I said this was way too late and in reality you could stick the parcel in the bin now if you don't deliver it all I got was "we can deliver it tomorrow" I was even told because of the problem we will upgrade it to a Saturday delivery for you for free. WHAT REALLY!!!! oh that makes everything better then ( that was sarcasm DPD.) DPD don't care. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. The fact that they made a huge error, the fact that i was lied to, and the fact that they knew how critical it was, you would think they would try and make sure they resolve it but the same attitude came across - WE DONT CARE. DPD clearly don't care that this has cost me a huge contract as the event I was attending was for a large portion of work that I was certain to get but I had to present the concept and the scope of works as part of the process. This now means layoffs for some people because their jobs depended on the contract which I have had for a while now and which would have came if I could attend the event tomorrow but if you don't attend you don't get it because DPD are at best useless and liars. Update: Called the CS centre the following day to make a complaint and was told a manager will call you in 1 hour. Another lie as 3 hours later and no phone call. Got a text message with a new delivery slot and surprise surprise no delivery so I call AGAIN to be told I didn't want it delivered today and that I scheduled it for the following day. We that's another LIE DPD. If review websites were to praise your utter incompetence, your ability to lie through your teeth and your disgraceful work ethics then you get a 10/10 from me. Apparently a manager will call me in 1 hour but I am definitely not expecting that. After all with all the complete incompetent performance you have shown to date why will It change.

Multiple messages from DPD telling me delivery would be today. Took day off work and noticed at noon that tracking updated to show late next week as delivery date for a next day service. Waited 8 hours for a response guaranteed in 90 minutes. Issues happen but I see this with at least 50% of the parcels I receive via DPD.

Supposed to receive phone on day of launch but DPD had "technical issues " with the system and no deliveries where being made, something I had to contact my network provider for because I was unable to get through to DPD the ironic thing is they had a van deliver a parcel 3 doors away, so not only do they have the most unintuitive website they lie to their customers. Given another date in 3 days time but thats not even a guarantee their words
