“I contacted customer service because I tried to use a gift card on the app and the remainder of the purchase on my debit card. The total was $20.74, and my gift card was for $20. They charged my debit card for the whole purchase. I contacted them the day it happened and they strung me along for three weeks saying they were going to help me. I just wanted my debit card refunded and my gift card charged. They made me add more money to the gift card to accomplish this task, claiming I had to have the full $20.74 on the gift card. The app only allows a $2 minimum. I let them know that it was all set to be charged and didn't hear from them for a week. When I did finally hear from them they asked for my card information so they can refund my card, I gave them my card information along with the gift card information. They replied saying that they cannot refund my card after a purchase has already been made, even though literally minutes before they said they were going to do it. Also how can you refund someone before a purchase is made? That doesn't even make sense. After a purchase is the only time a refund would be required. I pointed out that I was told the exact opposite and sent a screenshot of them telling me that they will refund the debit card and charge the gift card. They responded back with the same response, they can't do it. So they made me wait three weeks, lied to me more than once, and made me spend more of my money just to tell me they're not going to help me. Awful customer service. I had such a simple request and they refused to do it, lied to me, and wasted my time.”
