OK I've bought simple things off This company with no probs .....BUT I bought a turbo sound Sub NU 3000 watt which subsequently went wrong .As there was a 3 year guarantee they took it back and sent in the Germany I believe for repair .That was September 2022. The speaker came back to UK in January 2023. After waiting a number of weeks I was informed the speaker had been damaged in transit and they would repair it .A number of weeks on they wrote off the speaker and simply added a credit to my account .Unfortunately the sub speaker is no longer in production but I have another one as you would expect a matching pair. I have informed the company that they have a responsibility to put the this right. One sub speaker is no good to me. We came to an agreement that I would pay £150 towards a IQ18 TURBO SOUND SUB and the money refunded on one they have damaged .So I'm now paying out for a sub which is slightly better that matches up with one I've got .The time scale for receiving sub was a couple of weeks .After a couple of weeks past i then discovered through my own enquires the item is not available to end of September this year ...so without production for over 1 year ...In that time I have had to hire in subs for my business so out of pocket with that and forty quids worth of castors fitted to other knackered sub. I've sent another email to tell them I have located another sub with Andertons music. I have asked for money back and £150 compensation then I will put rest of money to purchase of the Sub ....as yet no reply

No phone service, no response to emails despite ordering some expensive lights - a UK sham company operating out of Germany now. Very much one to avoid, gather they also trade under the name of music store?

Truly awful. You order from a UK site, and the goods come from Germany. It says "easy returns" on their site. Really? I found myself involved in an import/export operation. Their return team ignored me, then sent messages half in German, then asked me to sign a pre-filled custom declaration which was lying about the value of the item I was returning. Avoid at all costs.

the company requested additional 100 GBP for delivery after the transaction has been concluded. buy from a credible supplier to AVOID hidden costs

Happy to take your cash but god help you if there are any issues/problems with your purchase. Unprofessional, very unhelpful and incompetent. Their customer service/after sales is diabolical, the staff are clueless! It states on the website UK based but any warranty repairs are sent to Germany. I would never buy of this company again and I would advise anyone else to do the same. Not an option for zero stars but that’s what they deserve.

Now I have seen a lot of bad reviews on this site, some of them so bad I very nearly didn't use DV247 at all. Still, if you're like me a left-handed beginner guitarist, who doesn't have the confidence yet to get a right-handed guitar and restring it, then you probably rely on getting left-handed guitars, you also probably know that trying to find a reasonably priced but decent guitar is damn hard work because left-handed guitars, in general, are quite hard to come by, I have been looking for a semi-acoustic guitar for Christmas for the last couple of weeks, I live pretty much the middle of nowhere and my closest music shop is 45 minutes away but also I have been to that particular shop a few times got my first guitar from them, the ONLY left-handed acoustic guitar in the shop out of the 10-15 acoustic guitars they had, out of all of their guitars only two of them were left-handed, that's how rare it is for left-handed guitarists to enter their shop, so with very little options, I had to look online. All of the other sites charged an astronomical amount for shipping or the odds of me getting the guitar by Christmas were pretty slim. DV247, was the only site that offered reasonably priced shipping and a decent timeframe of delivery, I can't fault DV247, I called them with a query and not only was the phone answered quickly, but the man on the phone was also very friendly and answered my query swiftly. My guitar arrived earlier than the tracking said it was going to be here, so I can't complain about that, I checked the guitar and it looks to be in pristine condition, honestly a very beautiful instrument. And again amazing service from DV247 from start to finish, I honestly cannot fault them.

Poor website. Shoddy experience and useless customer service. Avoid DV247 at all costs. there are better services out there. I tried to order something on the DV247 website because they were the only company in the UK selling it. Normally I would (and will always from now on) buy from Andertons or GAK. I couldn't place the order online. Called up their sales team, Matt, who answered said I could place the order over the phone and took my details and the payment. He said I would receive the email and tracking the same day and I should have the item on Monday. No email confirmation. Nothing. Called saturday. Got a rude customer support guy who basically said "Our systems work differently" when I asked why I didn't get an email or tracking number. On Monday, I called up and got hold of Matt who was puzzled and asked me all the details again. Said he would talk to his management (for what reason I have no idea). He didn't call me back and it's now been 3 hours waiting to understand what is going on with this company and my order. They have taken my money but no sign of my product yet. Such companies do not deserve to be in business. They are bad at everything. Maybe this poor level works in Germany where I think their HQ is but for the UK, this is way below par.

This is my 2nd order with Dv247 and both orders were delivered on time and when stated. I didn't need next day delivery so free 4-6 day delivery was fine. Thanks, Jayson

Purchased microphones from them in January. By May/June had major issues where one would stay on and both kept popping down my speakers, attempted to have these issues sorted under through them as they weren't even 6 months old, they told me to send them back for them to send to the manufacturer and didn't give a timescale of how long this would take (as a working DJ this is not possible unless you give me a timescale), so this couldn't be done. They offered no interim loan equipment, so I suggested either a refund or replacement (as was within my rights) they ignored all my emails after this point! Further to this after several more back and forth emails with people who have no customer service skills, they HAVE STILL DONE NOTHING TO RECTIFY THIS almost 2 months on.... AVOID

I ordered a Roland SPD-SX-SE on 2nd May. I understood at the time that these units were in shipment from China and delivery may take some time. Other suppliers said the same thing. The unit was sent from Germany on 23rd June. It arrived at UK customs on 27th June. It is still stuck in customs more than three weeks later. This is why you should not use this company: 1. DV247 appear to have no order tracking system and weren't aware there was a problem until I contacted them. 2. They are unwilling to accept any responsibility for the customs problems and blame it on the couriers. The issues seem to relate to missing paperwork for which they are responsible. 3. Their staff in Romford are doing their best but they are understaffed. As a result no one takes ownership for any of the problems. You are passed from pillar to post with no one taking personal responsibility to sort out the problem. They all blame it on the head office in Germany. 4. Due to the understaffing you cannot get through on their phone lines. My average wait has been around 20-25 minutes. 5. When you phone and are stuck in the queue, there is an offer to get a call back. It doesn't happen. 6. If you try to contact them by email you get a standard 'we are super busy' response and no one responds. 7. When I finally spoke to someone at DV247 they said that around sixty parcels had the same problem as mine and that the backlog was starting to clear. 8. Twenty days ago they said that the customs problems were a priority and had been solved. It is over three weeks since my Roland SPD order arrived in the UK. I'm still waiting with absolutely no communication or update from DV247. I feel helpless, abandoned and very angry! This Roland unit was a present to my son, a professional musician. I'm at a total loss to know what to say to him.

Do you ever pick up your phone? Me and my bandmate have been trying for 4 days to get hold of you through phone and email and you've yet to respond. The product we received is either faulty or not to spec we have detailed this clearly in the numerous emails we have sent to you so that we can organise a return. We have tried your German and English numbers and email addresses. We have tried different departments of your UK numbers. Shocking customer service we will certainly never be dealing with you again unless this is resolved to a satisfactory degree. Please contact us ASAP!

Predatory company that ships items from Germany with little to no indication this is the case. There is not a single reference to their warehouse being in Germany anywhere on the DV247 website. They have since been reported to Trading Standards, and they have informed me it has been raised further because the information displayed on their is "Incomplete, Confusing and/or Inadequate". Companies should not be legally allowed to trade like this, also they make sending stuff back and getting in touch as difficult as humanly possible! Absolute cowboys! Avoid at all costs!

Ordered an Alesis Crimson 2 Drum Kit Ordered an Alesis Crimson 2 Drum Kit. The snare was faulty from first play. Other problems also developed with the kit. Reported the snare to them within a week or so of having the kit. The snare is bespoke to the kit. Nevertheless,1 year and 6 months later still no replacement snare despite many false promises and numerous excuses! Other problems with the kit were put down to Heavy Mis use with excessive wear to all the pads. I have clear evidence to suggest otherwise. This cannot be discussed in detail for legal reasons. I threatened with legal action but still no positive response. I was left with no alternative but to take legal action as they clearly had no intentions of ever replacing anything with the kit! The case is now in the process of being heard by Luton Court. These are a dreadful bunch with no idea about customer after service. I will post the outcome of the case once it has been heard by the judge. My advice would be to avoid these, you may get things slightly cheaper but God help you if you run into an issue with your purchase. It is also worth mentioning that anything you send back goes to Germany with a very very long turn around. What I have had to go through in regards to stress and pure anger and frustration would not be something I would wish upon anyone. Disgraceful company

The worst shopping experience of my life. To add insult to injury, in response to my initial review in Trust Pilot, DV247 now claim that the guitar was ''returned damaged'' and that they replaced the neck out of ''good will'' as it was not covered by warrantee! This is untrue. According to the Consumer Rights Act, DV247 are obliged to replace faulty goods for up to six years. After six months the onus would have been on me to show that the fault existed when I bought the guitar. The truss rod Alan nut, when I came to adjust it for the first time, was quite simply, not in the cavity. Shining a light in, all I could see was a solid wood recess. In my online conversation with James he said the following: ''I also do in-house repairs where possible so the guitar passed through my workshop briefly and I spent an hour trying to excavate all of the sawdust compacted in the truss access...only to find the truss nut had been ground out''. This is obviously why DV247 never raised this as an issue with me. It's worth noting that after three months of never getting back to me, DV247 responded to this review within an hour! To do so, (after one, of many similar bad reviews) and try to imply that it was somehow my fault, and that they were doing me a favour - after ignoring me for three months - before getting around to doing what they were legally obliged to do, should tell you all you need to know.... My original review was: I had the worst shopping experience of my life with DV247 Ltd. I bought a Fender Telecaster Pro 2 from them, which had a serious manufacturing fault. Even contacting them to organise return shipment was a nightmare, and established a pattern that was to continue for over three months: Hours waiting on the phone listening to their (deliberately?) irritating soundtrack, sometimes getting suddenly cut off. I was promised return calls that never once happened. My emails requesting updates were ignored. I ended up going to the Citizens Advice, who helped me draught two letters to make a claim in the Small Claims Court, both of which were ignored. I managed to have an online conversation with James, who I was told was their guitar tech, but who told me that he was 'a sales person'. James said that he had attempted to unsuccessfully repair my guitar before deciding that it was beyond his competence. The Guitar was then sent to Germany. After another frustrating round of attempts to speak to someone at DV247, I was eventually told that it had been sent to Fender in the USA, but when I got it back, the repair slip said that the work had been done in done in Germany! Yesterday, after 3 months, without warning, my guitar turned up again with a new neck. A job that my local luthier could have done within a couple of weeks. I am a professional musician, and rely on my guitar for a living. I was forced to borrow guitars from students. I feel that I have been treated with contempt - that once the sale was made it was irrelevant to them how long I had to be without an instrument that I had paid over £1,500 for. They simply ignored my requests for a replacement, or a refund.
