DV247 sold me a bass. It came with a gig bag which broke when I took it out of the house for the second time (about 8 months in to owning it). I thought I would ask them if this fell under warranty as it was the supplied bag which failed (the strap came away dropping the bass to the floor). They initially agreed it was a warranty refund and their policy is when an instrument cannot be repaired, the customer can have a choice of a refund or exchange. Once I had sent them the instrument, they decided it broke because of my fault (even though they initially agreed with me that the bag was not fit for purpose), and refused to give a refund, only a credit. This is against their own T&C policy with regard to this but on pressing them, they said "Management had made their decision". Now this took so long, I bought another instrument from somewhere else so a credit is no good to me and if I bought something and sold it, I would lose money. DV247 (aka the Musicstore) should not be trusted and if you expect a refund from them, manage your expectations. the lesson here is Poor Quality goods, Poor quality customer service and I only give 2 stars not 1 because a credit was offered. I would have been much more generous if they had offered a refund as per their own policy. However, they don't even follow their own policy! I have contacted Trading Standards about this, investigation is ongoing, as the Music Store clearly are not interested in helping and not interested in their reputation going downhill either...

Very poor and misleading delivery timeframes. Have been let down badly. Gave Tuesday delivery, which became Wednesday, then ‘estimated’ Friday. Company is unreliable.

Ordered a keyboard stand. Took 3 months to arrive and when it did it was missing 2 legs. Then they just ignored my emails.

DON`T BOTHER TO ORDER ANYTHING IT TAKES FOREVER TO COME AND YOU CARN`T RETURN IT WITH OUT A LOAD OF HASSLE

Not very professional, they could not confirm my address details when I registered on their website and had the same address details from PayPal. I would not recommend it to anyone

Use at your own peril Horrible experience YOu are not purchasing from a Uk store. Goos come from Germany and whoooaa if you tryu and return something for a refund Not a single resp[onse from their returns dept in Germany I had no idea I was buying goods from Germany and would have to end upo trying to get a refund from the German store. That German excellence doesnt exist. Germany is going down the pan and I suspect this company have deep troubles I can see them going down

To be clear DV247 were great when they were a UK company. If things went wrong the service and ability to return goods was never an issue. But today the company is owned by a German operation and whilst you think you're buying from a Uk company, you're buying from a German company. Worse yet, the goods have to come from Germany. So, if something goes wrong, even when under guarantee you have to not only pay a lot of money to return the goods, you are made to jump through hoops to achieve anything like a refund. In my case, it took three months to secure a refund and I still lost out due to costs incurred. T Appalling service, shyster company - just avoid at all costs. Don't be dazzled by the gear on the website.

Hi There! I made an order just over a month ago and it did take sometime to be delivered to me , but l was checking the movement on UPS app! I was already aware that it would take time for my item to be transported and l am aware of how long customers in Germany and UK are and they are not fast unfortunatly ! I have been purchasing items for years at the Romford Branch via the website or via phone or even taking a day trip to the Romford store which l really enjoyed ! Shame l could not line on the store and play all the instruments they had! So it was very sad to hear that they no longer have musical instruments in store and that that section is not empty and that there is only the customer care office which l guess is closed to the public ! I also remember when they had a small store in Clapham. Which sadly closed ! Now going from experience with my own past employment ! The company had to close stores due the building owners increasing the rent to an unreasonable amount . So l understand why the Romford store has closed , but they still can take orders . I just hope the staff keep there jobs! I want to thank all staff at the Romford and Clapham store for their excellent service and l wish all staff at Romford store the best for the fufure and staff in the Germany Warehouse best for the future ! I hope all customers like myself understand that the current times in retail are very difficult right now and l know DV247 staff will always try the best to help within what they can do! Boarder control is something DV247 cannot control! But Customers will get all of there items eventually! Is customer just have to be patient and not blame DV247 staff for outside influences such as boarder control and delivery services such as UPS! I am very happy with my X2222 usb mixer! Shame theirs was no up to date catalogue! But of course that would add wait to my item for delivery ! I will still purchase musical instruments for DV247. the UK side is ace, everyone lovely on the phone when selling stuff but returning anything, it goes back to Germany, which is pain. i bought a few things that i kept apart from 1 slip mat (£11) because it is appalling quality. cheap and think and colour bleed on the colours. So my shock is when they expect me to pay return postage for their poorly made products. i wouldn't buy from again after this. Shame, for £11 slipmat, they have now lost my custom with the new mixer i was going to buy

Bad Bad company, ordered over a month ago and my parcel is stuck at ups depot with no address on it. Somehow this is my responsibility and they will not refund. Don't order from these clowns..

I have had to resort to writing a negative review in the hope this is seen and resolves my on going issues regarding a faulty product. I purchased an item back in in November 2022 with a warranty, by March 2023 through little use I had noticed and experienced a fault for which the item went for repair. It is worth noting that it can take weeks to get a reply from the returns team for which there is a back and forth explaining and evidencing the fault through videos. The item also has to be sent to Germany to be fixed, this took about 2 months, the item was returned and another fault was experienced in the space of months. This again took some time to go through returns, by which time it was August 2023, after having a second repair I wanted to understand where I stood regarding the item and refund policies incase another fault occurred. Come October 2023 I receive the item back and to my despair it had returned immediately with another fault, it took over a month to be told to send the item back for repair and I would receive a credit voucher. I posted this item in November not expecting to receive it back and instead receive a credit voucher. I am now writing this in January 2024 and it has been the best part of 6 straight months since I’ve had a working product, and I am yet to have this matter resolved. Every time I call up I get palmed off, nobody seems to be able to help due to authorisations needed from Germany. I would strongly advise purchasing from a local UK retailer, quite frankly I don’t know how they’re still in business as I’ve been informed I am not the only customer to have had such issues.

Poor service, Purchased Hughes & Kettner FS-2 footswitch which has a faulty cable (too thin) and refusing to replace as states cables are excluded from guarantee, the cable is not a seperate item and is part of the whole product and therefore i cannot replace the cable. If the cable was a seperate item i could understand but now the whole item has to be thrown away. i live in the UK and purchased from UK store but have to deal with their German office ??

Rubbish Customer Service. I ordered 2 items, they were at a good price. All goods come from Germany so there is a long delay until delivery. When the parcel arrived one item was missing. I phoned DV247 straight away and Customer Service said they would pass the complaint on to "The Central Team" for investigation. 24 hours later no response so I emailed them. 2 days later and another 2 emails and another phone call, no update CentralTeam is lookig at the matter. Then a online exchange where they said the item had been in the box and called me a liar. Now claiming my money back through my credit card

I haven't experienced such poor customer service for a long time. No response to emails. Deliberately not collecting a return from depot that I reported as damaged and had to sent back. I had to ask PayPal for help to get my money back. I honestly advise you to stay away from them. You will save yourself a lot of time and unnecessary nerves.

tried to purchase some mic stands, my card was refused so end of transaction, later on the same day i purchased mic stands with extra mic cables using paypal, the delivery arrived with both lots of equipment from both orders, one not paid for due to card refusal they took all the money via paypal, they wont return my money nor arrange pickup of the items i didnt buy, stole my money like a bunch of thieves,

OK I've bought simple things off This company with no probs .....BUT I bought a turbo sound Sub NU 3000 watt which subsequently went wrong .As there was a 3 year guarantee they took it back and sent in the Germany I believe for repair .That was September 2022. The speaker came back to UK in January 2023. After waiting a number of weeks I was informed the speaker had been damaged in transit and they would repair it .A number of weeks on they wrote off the speaker and simply added a credit to my account .Unfortunately the sub speaker is no longer in production but I have another one as you would expect a matching pair. I have informed the company that they have a responsibility to put the this right. One sub speaker is no good to me. We came to an agreement that I would pay £150 towards a IQ18 TURBO SOUND SUB and the money refunded on one they have damaged .So I'm now paying out for a sub which is slightly better that matches up with one I've got .The time scale for receiving sub was a couple of weeks .After a couple of weeks past i then discovered through my own enquires the item is not available to end of September this year ...so without production for over 1 year ...In that time I have had to hire in subs for my business so out of pocket with that and forty quids worth of castors fitted to other knackered sub. I've sent another email to tell them I have located another sub with Andertons music. I have asked for money back and £150 compensation then I will put rest of money to purchase of the Sub ....as yet no reply
