Enterprise Car Rental, corner of US41 and Estero Pkwy, Estero, FL. This has got to be the worst car rental office on the planet! I went there in person Tuesday to book a car in person for Thursday 4 PM at this location. After going through the entire booking procedure, I was given a Confirmation # and the assurance, that somebody will pick me up at my address, which the clerk looked up and said it was OK for distance. I was all set for Thursday. Or so I thought. Today, Thursday around 3 PM, I called, as directed, to ask for the pickup. The person on the phone turned out to be the manager and he couldn't even find my booking, neither by my last name nor by their own booking confirmation number. And he also denied the pickup as "to far" - and, he added casually, we have no vehicles available anyway. You do what you will, but I will never even consider this crappy car rental company again!

I made a reservation this afternoon for a minivan, we need room for 6 people. They took all the information and said everything was set. Less than a half hour later I get a call telling me they don't have a car! I questioned why I was told everything was completed. The girl gave excuses of well, one office does one thing and another does other things. I stated how poorly I thought the business procedures were handled and her response literally, "yeah, we get that complaint all the time!" Seriously? She said I can rent you a sedan. How will 6 people fit in a sedan? I'm highly disappointed in Enterprise Rental Car. Never again. I wish I could give a 0 as a review!

I had fabulous service from Enterprise Rent A Car on 39th Ave in Gainesville, FL. I noted these employees who were extra helpful… Nakimm, Isabella, and Brian. With caring employees like these three, you will definitely have return business. I certainly will only use this location whenever I need a rental.

I went to rent-a-car on 2/8/24. I had called the day before to remind them, I was told “ok”. I called on the day of at about 11.40am I was told that the driver was on her way and she had 3 people to pick., it would take her about 20-30minutes I agreed. After waiting and there was no driver I called at 12.30pm to verify where the driver was only to find out they never sent a driver as they claimed!! The driver told me she was given the pick up paperwork 10 minutes prior. When I got to the enterprise rent-a-car I was livid and I complained and questioned why I was LIED TO! and the Assistant manager did not apologize neither did he show remorse and he asked me for an alternative phone number and I told him I did not have one and his reply was “ I will not rent a car to you “ and I said yes he would and he said said” I won’t “. I said I’ll call corporate and he said “ my name is …., you can call corporate I don’t give a …”. I called corporate and made a report and I haven’t received a response yet. I’m still waiting to hear from corporate. All the customers behind me were shocked as you could see it on their facial expressions. This deplorable and very unbecoming of an enterprise staff, I have never experienced this kind of behavior and embarrassment in over 18 years I have been renting from enterprise both at home in the US and abroad. I shall send another review after and if I get a response from enterprise corporate or not. Real customer C.E.

Enterprise called me on 3/8/2024 to schedule my rental (insurance claim) at I-55 North Frontage Road, Jackson, MS, for 9:30 am 3/11/2024. Get to location and I'm not in the system as scheduled and furthermore, no cars available. Apparently, this location has had two cars stolen and others wrecked, not to mention, per the guy, it's Spring Break. When State Farm gave me this location on 3/8/2024, I almost told them to choose another site. This one has a terrible reputation of customer service and having vehicles which is why I always choose the airport with my job, but the airport doesn't do insurance claims. I have let State Farm know this location should never be recommended and I am now on my way to Hertz.

Hired a car... it wasn't the model I asked for and it stank of stale fags. They showed me round it in the dark forecourt, so I could hardly see anything. But I was desperate to get something to see family just before Christmas. When I returned it, they used a light to show me a LIGHT SURFACE scratch on a door. I hadn't touched anything driving it, so either it was already there when I hired it, or else it happened when parked in a shopping centre. Whichever, Enterprise told me they would charge me £2,000 for it YES, TWO THOUSAND POUNDS!!! I hadn't taken out their insurance as I am a careful driver and have never had an accident in over 40 years of driving. They had told me that the excess was £2,000 initially but my understanding has always been that excess means you pay for a maximum of that amount, not a minimum and they gabbled away at me so fast it was pretty impossible to follow what they were saying. Eventually, they said the amount would be around £1,300 as a special favour for which they could supposedly get in trouble. Even so, I looked it up on the Internet and I could have bought a whole replacement door for much, much less. Furthermore, a local friend had had 3 deep gouges taken out of the back of their car and were only charged £300 for fixing it. A TOTAL RIP-OFF by con artists and, I will never know, but wouldn't surprised if they had a nice little number going with the local bodywork repair garage to split the massive overcharge.

I went to enterprise rent a car in brossard 8200 taschereau blvd. J4X-2S6 montreal, Qc. customer service was very confusing and I was very disappointed! Promised a certain car, did not receive it after being let down they went to pick up the car of my choice at another place only after I spoke to the manager. But then they said no pets allowed and cat hairs was visible in the car had to refuse the car because of allergies. Before noticing the animal hair the car was actually cleaned and given to me really wet, I had to ask them for a cloth to dry the entire car leather seats front and back. Upon my departure, I confirmed with them when I was suppose to return back the car day and time. Only rented the car for 2 days and they charged me an extra day in total 3 days that was very dishonest! CAR WAS RETURNED BACK ON TIME! And they have camera's to see this around the building. Following all of this mess noted on my email bill today extra charges, they went ahead and helped themselves to my credit card withdrawing the money. Finally, the morning that I went to pick up the car started on my road trip with kids while I was going over Champlain bridge only then did I realized that I was driving on a near empty gas ⛽ tank 2 strokes before empty. When I called to complain, I was told that they know the cars are rented this way. In the pass from the same rental place with the old staff, I was always told "we give you a full tank and you have to replace the gas upon return with a full tank". My trip was so delayed because of all the hiccups from the enterprise. I was suppose to leave at 07:30 AM, I left Montreal at 11:45 AM. I return the car with almost a full gas tank. No refund on that! The lady I spoke to from enterprise told me that I can return the car back with the same amount of gas that they had in it near empty.....really! I can't take the chance driving back from our trip with a near empty gas tank and I have kids in the car. Not thoughtful!!! I have to wonder if this young lady would have done that for herself. What was meant to be an enjoyable family vacation started out terrible and very stressful! Disappointed customer

While my son is currently in a town that he has never been in before and needing to rent a car, you left him stranded and walking. What company in 2024 doesn't take a debit card, and will only accept a credit card without THAT particular piece of information being posted in the forefront of their web-site? For those who often rent cars, that may seem normal, but for those unfortunates who rent rarely, it seems a company would go the extra mile to make them aware of that in hopes of getting return business. Having been in business, this seems like very poor business practices indeed. Whatever egghead that thinks they understand the proper promotion of a business such as yours ought to rethink their career choices, or get a refund for their education expenses because they are severely lacking in proper presentation and customer service edicate.

Came to the Enterprise on Capital Blvd in Raleigh North Carolina after booking online. I was attended to by a female attendant who told me practically everything I had booked was not available. Of course she tried to equate a lower vehicle to the premium SUV booked. I felt stonewalled and told her so. She said all the other vehicles available were being kept for people who had reserved months ago. The most annoying thing was the condescending and patronizing attitude. Eventually as I was trying to look at my options she summarily dropped my driver license and credit card on the table after she had asked me what I wanted to do and I told her I was looking at my options but maybe considering scratching or changing the reservation; she more than eagerly dropped my cards on the table and went on with her business even as I was still considering my options. Later on a white man came in and got a green dodge which they had told a black lady was not available previously.

My first experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car was at Sky Harbor (PHX) and it couldn't have been better. Renting a vehicle at Sky Harbor has been an unnecessary sh*tshow since the pandemic. The big two (Hertz-Thrifty-Dollar and Avis-Budget-Payless) consistently provide deplorable customer service. My renting experience with Enterprise was exceptional. Quick (10 mins.), clear (no pushy upsales) and correct (no creeping fees). Above all, the customer service experience was actually pleasant rather than frustrating, which is now the norm at Sky Harbor.

I went to the warren ohio location to purchase a vehicle which was already high priced I liked it so didnt care. Salesman tried to charge additional $995 for a vehicle I wanted at another enterprise location for delivery. This math did not add up and seller acted like I was unreasonable and was very rude for somebody wanting to spend $20,000. Dont waste your time doing any kind of business with these people they will only try to add additional charges that are not necessary.

If I could leave a 0 review I would. After my insurance company made a reservation TWO months in advance for a pickup to be delivered to the body shop, I received several phone calls and emails that day with confirmation of the reservation. I arrived at the body shop not only to no vehicle but when calling them not only did they not have a pickup but they had NO vehicle. Also, they didnt deliver. So the insurance adjuster had to find a car for me (even though I need a truck) last minute from HERTZ! Suggested I take a taxi 35 miles to pick it up. Poor service, useless reservation process, and complete lies! What kind of business is this??? NEVER AGAIN ENTERPRISE!

My sister in law rented a vehicle. When she returned the vehicle her deposit did not cover everything so I paid the balance for her. I have never rented a vehicle and was assured by the worker my card would not be kept on file. So I paid the balance. Now 30 days later I am charged another $30. When I called to find out why I was told it was for tolls. I asked why I was charged because all I did was pay a balance that was left for a family member, I did not rent a vehicle, I did not give permission to have my card run for anything else, why was my card kept on file when I was assured by the staff it wouldn’t be. I was told I needed to contact the family member so they could get a working card. I don’t work for enterprise I shouldn’t have to be the one to contact anyone to make sure they get their money but I would gladly let them know and gave enterprise a working number for who rented the vehicle but I would like my money back, seeing as I am not the one who rented the vehicle, and I did not give permission to run this card for anything other than the balance that was left when the vehicle was returned. After arguing and giving a working number I was told I would have my money refunded in 24hrs. It’s been 24 hrs the money was not refunded and they probably did not reach out to the person who rented the vehicle. I was nice enough to pay the balance to make sure enterprise had got the money that was owed to them and 30 days later to be charged because the person who rented the vehicle doesn’t have the money to pay whatever else is owed should not be my problem, I am not the one who rented the vehicle nor do I have a contract with enterprise for ever renting a vehicle and I also have not signed anything stating or agreeing to let enterprise run my card for anything other than what I agreed to (the balance someone else had) 30 days ago. As far as I’m concerned this is theft from enterprise or one of their employees. When I asked for a print out or statement for why my card was ran I was told to contact the person who rented the vehicle. So ontop of stealing peoples money enterprise also wants civilians to do their job for them. I do not work for enterprise, I should not have to contact this person for a working card for them, they should have done that instead of running a card that was not supposed to have been kept on file, I shouldn’t have to contact the person to find out what these charges are for!! Enterprise ran my card and should be able to give me a statement as to why they have charged my card!! I will be contacting the BBB and an lawyer and making a complaint for theft with my local pd.
