“I ourchased a garment & paid for 1st class post but it took 3 days to get delivered,I personally wouldn't use evri but the people i bought the garment from did,personally i think either the seller or the buyer deserves some sort of refund?”

“The problem is with selection of service on the instructions for mailing a postal size package. I selected the basic del charge of £2.62. I then go on to select delivery to the address, NOT to a pickup place. The very large envelope contains legal docs.. At this point, the form doesn’t allow ‘SELECT’. After many attempts within the past hour, I give up and will go to Royal Mail which I try to avoid. Can’t waste any more time on your site.”
“I had live plants delivered 16/04/24. The box was damaged, all plants out of their plug box & it was left on its end, when delivered. However, the box clearly stated the correct orientation for the contents. 9 of the 12 plants were damaged beyond viability, sadly. I immediately advised the plant seller, who replaced all 12 plants & I took delivery of them 08/05/24. Again, the box arrived damaged & the courier handed me the box 'upside down.' Fortunately, despite a squashed box & some of the plants taking a battering, I think most of them will grow on. Evri, appears unable to deal with delicate items. Not necessarily the fault of the driver who delivered them, hence why I'm not giving him a low delivery score, however, I believe Evri should do better.”
“I received a message saying that my delivery is on hold, due to being unable to deliver twice. At no time did anyone from Evri knock on either of my doors. I received 2 other deliverys yesterday with no problem! I strongly suspect that they went to the wrong address, which happens alot, when Evri has new drivers, they tend to go to ...... Crescent, instead of ...... Avenue. Please bring back my regular driver Sue van 88, she is brilliant.”

“Dreadful Company. My parcel was seemingly with the driver. 15 th February . Expected delivery due between 12 and 1 PM. No delivery. Waited in all day. Was messaged the next morning 16th February. “Wow - big improvement today ! I am used to giving one star reviews as they usually just chuck things over the gate - even cardboard ones when it is wet ! However, today I am going to increase the star rating to TWO stars ! The parcel arrived this afternoon and was pushed into the letterbox. So far, so good. BUT.....the parcel was left sticking out of the letterbox and the door is by a very busy footpath and is in clear view of the numerous people that walk past so any one of them could have just pulled it out and run off with it. I suppose it is too much to ask that they might actually have taken the trouble to push it all the way through to the safety of the door mat !”
“Having had experience of the company over the years if I had a choice I would choose another courier if the price was close.
The delivery guy Waine who generally delivers here is a top lad and tries hard always to deliver.
The problems seem to be at the Leeds delivery Hub where things are delayed lost mishandled and the customer service when you contact them is so so.
I am really surprise John Lewis use them.”
“Basically evri finally contacted me about the issue, and even though the issue was not sorted out, the phone was put down ,and basically they was discussing with me about them collecting the parcel they delivered to the wrong address and deliver it to the correct address as the road name and postcode was the same, but I have not received any further information from evri, or a call from their customer service team ,not very impressed with this situation leaving my mum not getting her birthday present”

I then get a message saying they tried to deliver again. my parents were in the times they mentioned. Tried to contact them via their website which is atrocious! dealt with a useless chatbot. asked for a call back which I never received. My parents got a random call from Evri saying they have the parcel but couldnt deliver it as they couldnt find the address, could they come and collect from the depot...which was a two minute drive away! unbelievable. why do Amazon insisit in using this service, when by reading all the other reviews, i fails so many times?”

“I want to start this review by stating my personal mistakes (overlooked due to human error & distress) before stating the mistakes of Evri:
1. The message mistakenly sent by Evri about my delivery arriving specified that it was a superdrug delivery- the other household member ordered through superdrug
2. The tracking information (email) specified at the top that it was a superdrug delivery
Me and another member of my household ordered packages from 2 different companies, AVON and Superdrug.
We both have similar phone numbers (exactly the same except from the last 2 digits). The other household member's superdrug order arrived **deliverer did not even ring the doorbell, just silently left and the other household member only knew the order had arrived via a email
I received a message that my order would be arriving on that very same day.
When I saw that my order did not arrive, I became concerned and checked the tracking information and was told that my order had arrived and a photo was attached.
I became distressed and spent the whole day believing my package had been stolen (there's been theft instances in my building).
The next day, the other member of my household told me to check the tracking information again and it was updated to show that my order had not yet arrived and the tracking number had changed. So they must have confused my number with the other household members number.
This was such a poor mistake.
On a slightly more positive note, the courier who delivered my parcel waited outside and did not just leave upon dropping the parcel.”
“Disgusted! Didn't even knock on the door. Went on a walk the package arrived the same time I got home couldn't wait 30 seconds for me to get to the door and collect package just drove of. Now I have to wait even longer for my package as neighbors work all day.”
