When arrived we were told the lounge was too full and we may have to stand up. Bearing in mind it was booked weeks earlier I wasn't impressed. Breakfast was very basic, no toasting facilities I could see and the hot dishes were cold. The breakfast items weren't replaced in any great rush either. The saving grace was the bar. All in all very disappointed and not acceptable for an airport lounge

There are no toilets in the lounge. You have to leave the lounge and use the airport toilets. The digital booking voucher did not work in the Apple wallet.

People in shorts and football tops food was very basic very dry and not much to offer tables were full of empty glasses and beer bottles The bottle beer that was served by your staff was very warm lack of ice all-round it was my first experience of the lounge and I was not very happy at all with the service

The lounge was overbooked, and there were no seats left when we arrived, despite pre-booking. Also there was no record of my booking, luckily I had printed my email confirmation and this was taken from me. The lack of seating was pointed out by a family to the host at reception and he was very unhelpful and just replied "it's busy, you will just need to share tables with other passengers". I thought this was very poor. When you are paying to access a lounge you do so with a view to it being a more relaxing experience than the general departure terminal. Are the lounges not meant to ensure the start to your holiday is a bit more luxurious?? My husband and I shared a table with another couple, and there were families having to stand up? It seemed very inappropriate that people paying for the use of the lounge could not even sit down! This was made worse because the large section reserved for Singapore Airlines passengers had one person sat in there. I was severely disappointed. I did not find the experience to be worth the price paid. We could have gone into a restaurant in the main terminal and had a table to ourselves! I thought it was disgraceful that the lounge had been overbooked to the point that people could not even have a seat. It was also very difficult to relax because if you were lucky enough to secure a seat, you then had other passengers hovering around tables waiting for you to leave. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Was disappointed with the food choice. Thought there would be more variations.. sandwiches etc. Salad and soup only. Plus the booth we sat at shared a remote control with others. Which meant we had to ask the people next to us if we wanted to borrow theirs. Poor quality and choice of food. Won't return I'm afraid.

We arrived just after 8.30am to the Aspire lounge in Terminal 2 @ Manchester Airport. There was quite a long queue and as we got to the front, a supervisor came to the host to say as it was very busy and therefore not accepting any new passengers, meaning anyone with a later flight was rudely asked to come back at 9.30am. On hearing this news that we were being forced to come back later, we kindly refused due to having a pre-ordered bottle of champagne. The response from the host was that we could still have this at 9.30 - when we explained this would have only allowed half an hour to drink a full bottle of champagne due to a boarding time of 10:10. As this was a treat, we didn't want to rush, plus it would have made the ongoing 11 hour flight less enjoyable as a result and had the potential to ruin the start of our holiday. The host kindly at this point understood our concerns and let us through, at which point the supervisor came out and told us to come back so we had to reiterate what we had said to the host. Again begrudgingly, we were let in as we agreed to stand on a perched point. This tainted the start of our holiday and left a sour first impression, particularly as it was our first experience to a Manchester Airport lounge, and as we had paid for this priviledge. On a positive note, once we were inside, the service and friendliness of the staff was great. The bacon felt slightly on the edge of being under-cooked and the eggs over scrambled but the selection of food other than that was good. What was however, the final straw, was the group behind us were told to come back at 9.30am and not allowed access at the time, which they argued the case, just as we did. Once they returned they were then given reserved seating and complimentary drinks as an apology (opening three bottles of Prosecco just for their group). As you can image, we paid £78 in total, had to have to argue our way into the lounge, made to feel like we couldn't enjoy our champagne that was starting the holiday of a lifetime for us and had to stand for the entire time, therefore when we saw the group behind being compensated for the clear overbooking of the lounge, we were and still are not best pleased. In short, you shouldn't take bookings for a three hour period that cannot be honoured and as a result was left disappointed and see no future reason why we would pay for a Manchester Airport Lounge on future trips.

Expected so much more, seats were uncomfortable, dropped money through the cushions and underneath was just covered in crumbs, and bearing in mind this was at 5:30am, the seats had clearly not been cleaned. The food was poor, bacon was under cooked and the sausages were over cooked, poor selection of bread from what I could see and the pastries did not look apertising. Certainly not worth the money, as was the aspire plus lounge last summer.

Very disappointed with our visit to Cardiff airport lounge. Your new policy of staff serving alcoholic drinks so they are able to monitor the amount passengers are drinking I believe is not treating grown up people like adults and can make people feel they cannot relax.

Myself & 3 colleagues have used this lounge before & we found it very relaxing, but this time we felt it intimidating as soon as we went in as the ladies were always watching what we were doing, we spent 3 hrs in there & had 3 drinks each in that time but we were getting told every 15mins about a fit to fly policy, the 2 ladies made us feel very uncomfortable with their Miss Trunchable draconian attitudes.

This is our 6 the visit to the lounge and, undoubtedly, the worst. To begin with the lounge,as we know it was closed. This was very poorly signed and so we wasted time going to its usual location. Instead, it was just a roped off part of the ordinary departure lounge at the VERY END of it. This area was not separately air conditioned and was stuffy and hot. The food was extremely limited with soup being the only hot option (quite nice) the pizza that should be warm was cold and dried up. Over recent visits I have noticed that the Spirits choice has become poorer and poorerand this time there was only imported Whisky. The brandy was the local cheap Keo and so was the cans of lager. All in all, a very poor experience. I do think we should have been given at least a partial refund as the facilities provided were not the ones we expected and paid for.

When arriving was told my reference number had been used that morning by someone else. Assured her this was my booking. It was totally their error but was made to feel it was mine. The lounge was not peaceful as there were kids screaming and running around at play the play area.

badly designed no quiet room no access to power points where seated. no meat on the menu . only a salad bar on. no waitress service. The whole place was total let down it's not that it could not be brilliant with a few tables moved about and maybe a couple of screens to dampen noise really could be a top notch place worth visiting but sadly let down by a bad lay out.
