We booked the Aspire lounge, as a treat as we were celebrating our first anniversary/honeymoon. However there was hardly any food available on the day. No hot food at all. I had emailed to complain as we had paid for a service that wasn't available to us. I emailed on Monday 12th but still haven't had a response. It would be great if somebody could come back to me.

More choice of food, maybe sandwiches would help. There is no longer a self service bar if you require spirits or wine. We had to wait for drinks as the staff working there were also checking people into the lounge, restocking fridges etc, clearing tables and also having to serve at the bar. We have visited the lounges at most airports we have travelled from and unfortunately, our local airport has been the worst. As an afterthought, the toilets were also very untidy, paper all over the floor and wet patches throughout.

The lounge was actually quite crowded and noisy....not the oasis of calm we were lead to believe in. Having to leave the lounge to use the terminal restrooms was a disappointment as was the poor replenishment of crockery and cutlery. Finally, one or two of the staff (particularly behind the bar) were not very friendly....almost hostile to be honest. Overall, very poor value for money. This could have been much better spent at one of the many terminal cafes / restaurants.

Admittedly it was about 3 in the morning but the service was poor we waiting 30mins for a drink order of 2 drinks and had to ask enquire twice as to whether our drinks were coming.

I booked the lounge especially as my disabled daughter was travelling with me. Struggled getting a seat, Long queues for a drink, constantly running out of food! Totally disappointed and a waste of money!

Overall the experience was ok. We have been to the lounge before in 2016. We found the service and selection of food and drink then excellent. However there appears to have been quite a stark drop in standards. Both the quality and number of options for food has reduced. The wait for hot food was around 40 minutes which I would understand if the lounge was busy. However it was almost empty. Additionally when we wanted a drink that wasn't self service there was always a wait involved as there was very rarely a person manning the counter. At this point I'm not sure if I would return to the lounge. Thank you. Matthew

I haven't visited this lounge in a number of years. I always felt that going to the executive lounge was a real treat and it somehow felt exclusive. However, our latest visit on 3rd June was very disappointing. The lounge was very busy and we had to wait over 10 minutes to get a drink at the bar. There were 2 men working at the bar and they were pouring drinks like a production line. We had some sandwiches and some crackers and cheese with our drinks but it was more like sitting in a busy Wetherspoons pub than an 'Executive Lounge'.

Very little food available only soup, crisps or a very poor salad bar with buns you could use as cricket balls.

To begin with, had to join a queue of people to gain entry, even though we had pre booked. It took around 10mins to get entry. Staff we not apologetic. When we entered, there was no available seating - the lounge was clearly over subscribed. The bar did not have enough glasses, staff were not helpful and the food was sparse. The worst lounge experience.

the lounge was overbooked, we had to wait for seating, our choice of wine ran out and the selection of food was limited and picked over. It was a waste of money and we will not use this lounge again.

the lounge was far from what we expected in fact we thought that we were in the wrong lounge,as I have used your lounge before this was Dubai international lounge terminal &1 THE FOOD WAS OPEN AND ONLY COVERED ON ONE SECTION,this is not good enough we are travelling back to Dubai from terminal 4 with Qatar airways I hope that you have somewhere to a standard that we are used too

The reception staff were not clear and were hard to understand, I had booked a table in advance and no table had been reserved, just many tables dirty tables, The cakes on offer were all empty and needed replenishing and the white wine was warm so was not a good first impression for me.

Very crowded for an executive lounge. Charging port did not work. 1 barmaid on to serve everyone which made it difficult. No smoking area.

As I travel on my own a lot I like to sit in lounge where it peaceful . This time it was far too busy, obviously over capacity. People were being asked to move tables to accommodate others, huge queue at bar (where they had even run out of glasses!) hardly any food available, basically just make your own sandwich! The experience was definitely not worth the increase to £25!!!
