“Lounge opened at 04:30 - our flight was boarding at 05:10 - therefore only had 40mins in lounge yet we arrived at the airport at 03:30. We were I aware that the lounge would not be open until 04:30”

“The staff seemed reluctant to serve the customers. Spending a lot of time in the kitchen area chatting amongst themselves. Every customer had to wait to be served. The food needed to be refreshed.”

“location, décor, ambience. excellent. catering left a lot to be desired. no sandwiches of any description after 11.00am!!!! an apology of a salad and a very poor quality mushroom soup and little of much else. sorry but you did ask.”

“Very disapponted when we arrived to a sign telling us that the lounge was being refurbished and was now situated at the end of the airport!!! Got down there eventually to what was the final boarding gate of Larnaca Aiport with a selection of nibbles & drinks. Had I been advised of this when booking, definitely wouldn't have done so. Just hope the refurbished lounge makes up for this disappointing visit.”

“We regularly use Aspire lounges but Manchester terminal 1 was very disappointing. The fridges were mostly empty with no hot food in the warmers”

“Arrived at noon staff at desk very slow considering we had pree booked.The only hot food was soup,no rolls or sandwiches were available staff said they had not been made up yet considering this was lunch time they seemed ill prepared.Having used lounges at various airports this was by far my worst expeareance”

“The lounge was dirty and shabby. Foodstuffs dropped by clients on the floor had not been cleaned up for some time and were still remaining on our departure from the lounge. Tables, which were dirty, were eventually cleared with no attempt made to clean up the floor. The wine on offer was of very poor quality and the choice of white wine was Chardonnay only, with no alternative available. All in all a poor experience and one which we would not repeat, especially given the cost.”

“We visited very early in the morning. The staff were not particularly friendly, the comfortable seating was all reserved for Singapore Airlines passengers (but there were none!) and the air conditioning set far too cold for comfort. The food available was adequate. Probably better value if you're taking advantage of the alcoholic drinks, but it was a bit early for us!”

“No hot food at all, had to fight for the bacon rolls with other customers. The amount of complaints going on ended with the police turning up. After my experience at aspire in Bristol, this is a million miles away from that excellent experience.”

“When we arrived the place was so full the staff simply could not keep up. They were working very hard to try but the number of people to staff was far too much. Dirty tables and huge amounts of crockery on tables, we had to clear our own table just to sit. Not really the relaxing experience we were expecting.”

“The lounge was incredibly busy and I struggled to find a place to sit even though I had orebooked. The main issue was that most sockets weren't working so I wasn't able to charge my devices. Food also git taken away an hour before closure of the loungue which didn't feel right for those people that were still there at that time”

“I have previously experienced the Leeds Bradford lounge which was exceptional. Fresh food brought out all the time, Fresh drinks and when I say this I mean mixers such coke, lemonade etc in glass bottle not opened 1.5litre plastic bottles in a fridge. We decided as a group of 5 to book Newcastle which is £6 more expensive than Leeds, upon arriving and going to the bar we asked where the food was to be informed we only have Soup and won't be bringing anymore until this has gone! No bread or even spoons accompanied with this either. We asked where are the sandwiches etc advertised, to be told they've all gone theres some crackers over the other side if you want them. We ordered our drinks, asked for Tiger beer, reply sorry all gone. Asked why, well we close at 7 so not restocking now! SO we ordered other drinks. Service was appalling to say the least, the time taken to be served was also not very good and you could here people around saying they wouldn't be coming back. Not a very good experience at all and compared to Leeds not even in the same league.”

“It a small, packed and uncomfortable lounge. None of the amenities make up for that. There were only German-language publications on hand. The food was meager and gross. The one good thing were the attentive cleaning staff who kept the place clean despite the number of people.”
