Food was not great standard, service was surly and overworked, it felt like a stressful atmosphere. I didn't think it was worth the money and wouldn't do it again.

Whilst we arrived at the airport three hours prior to departure, it took over an hour and a half to check in and clear security meaning only approx 30 mins was spent in the lounge prior to boarding. I appreciate this is the fault of airport processing but you could manage customer expectations far better at the selling stage as we were left feeling exploited given the cost of the lounge. Only one person serving drinks behind the bar meant we then had to queue again for the majority of our time in the lounge which is simply unacceptable in terms of product and service delivery. I even had to go to the fridge for the bar tender to fetch the tomato juice for her! Really not good. You have a great lounge you could make a lot more of with some simple tweaks. Thanks.

We Had to queue up and wait for a table as we were told there had been too many bookings. Once we did get in after about 10 minutes there were queue at the bar and for food. As soon as fresh sandwiches were put out they were gone. Not a good experience and definitely not worth the money. The staff were apologetic though.

Not enough seating had to wait for someone to vacat their seat. Toilet not very well maintained. Buffet food minimal, nothing left and had to ask three different staff for a coffee? Reception staff very good on entry however.

It just wasn't a nice environment - no natural light - noticed the other lounge looked out to the tarmac so was more pleasant.

Service was awful, food had ran out when I arrived and not much selection, no cutlery and no wine glasses available . Poor selection of spirits available and staff not friendly

It was very overcrowded and we had difficulty finding a seat together (just two of us). The lounge in terminal 5 is long and narrow and we had to walk the entire length squeezing past people before finding the last two remaining seats tucked away in a distant corner. I had just ordered a glass of prosecco when I was told that was it unless I paid thereafter but too late to change this to a glass of non-sparkling wine. . The food was also fairly ordinary. Overall I felt that I had been severely overcharged for a pretty second rate experience. We left after an hour having originally intended to stay for three. It was much less crowded outside!

Disapointed that between booking and my visit they cancelled alchohol in the lounge but didnt contact me to see if i still wanted to use the lounge or cancel my booking The food was good and plentiful. Staff member on front desk didnt know the system so couldnt book me in. I would use again if they bring back alchohol.

Unfortunately, due to a problem with delivery there was little choice of food and drink The ladies did offer us the chance to have a refund and not use the lounge but by this stage we did not wish to start finding tables in the public bars etc (the whole point of using the lounge) so we accepted to use the reduced service but to say it was a disappointment and most inefficient is an understatement

We visited the Aspire lounge at Manchester and I was very disappointed, it was dirty, tables left all covered in rubbish. Service was really slow, no one around and the food was not very appetising. We have visited many lounges and this one really fell behind the others.

Oversold. No point in paying for a lounge that has insufficient seating for the guest they have sold to - particularly when outside it the airport seemed relatively quiet and the bars/restaurants looked more inviting with some available tables. Food choice was very limited. Insufficient electric sockets available to charge phone.

food was poor...had to wait at the bar for a drink always as there were no staff available ... unpleasant atmosphere from staff due to being overworked and under staffed .

Very dissapointed and sadly im booked again in July. The snacks were constantly empty. I had a dry bun and shared a bag of crisps. Lots of moaning going on in there from upset customers.

Despite pre booking for 4 people when we arrived the lounge was full and we struggled to find a seat for all of us to seat together. This was the first time we had used the Aspire lounge, the lounge is open to the departure area and is literally as large a balcony overlooking the open areas at the end of the airport departure area. The food in the lounge was limited and was not fully stocked meaning that if you required a cooked breakfast a number of visits back to the buffet was required. The bar was not manned resulting in excessive waiting until a member of staff was available from other duties to provide a bar service. Clearly this was a tactic to reduce the amount of drink consumption within the lounge as observed a number of people who gave up waiting.

Limited facilities which effectively amounted to somewhere to sit within a public restaurant. Small toilets and no shower facilities. Not what I expect from an airport lounge, at all.

We have had very good experiences of true BA lounges when we have had admission linked to passenger status. This time we paid extra for admission to a BA lounge when traveling traveller plus. it is nowhere near the standard of a true BA lounge -or even the lounges of other airlines when we have paid extra for admission. True, it is quiet compared with other waiting areas but it was still crowded. There are no toilets. One has to leave the lounge and re-enter. The food was reasonable but there was little variety. It was very expensive in relation to the admission charge. We wouldn't want to go there again..
