Felt uncomfortable by being constantly observed everytime we went to get a drink. Dissapointed that there was no warm snacks. Limited choice of beers (only localy brewed)

Chaotic on arrival. Those not pre booked were turned away even although they were ticket holders. They were unhappy and made it known. Very uncomfortable to see. No computerised system for checking in. People in the lounge were loud even although in the quiet area. No official intervened. Facilities on offer were good but the noise and lack of planning means I am not likely to book again. Shame.

Staff on desk were not very welcoming. They were very harassed with one in particular coming across very rude and unhelpful. ( the other, Anne came over to apologise later). Very poor choice of food..stale bread for the soup. Only other choice was minimal cheese and biscuits and a small amount of fruit. There wasn't anyone on the bar for alcoholic drinks and when customers went to the front desk to ask for service they were made to feel like they were an inconvenience. The smallest amount of alcohol was given. All in all I would not return here

We didn't realise when paying for 5 adults that we wouldn't get seats together. A waste of money there are nicer bars in the departure lounge.

I had to wait in a 15 minute queue to get in, then the selection of food was very poor. The lounge is quite small and there were people queueing again inside to get at the food and beverages. I am comparing this to the Manchester lounge which is very good and worth the money. I will not visit this lounge again as I feel I wasted my money.

The lounge at T5 has no toilets, was so crowded we had to stand and was quite difficult to find. Overall a total waste of money.

I came at 4am the lady at the counter refused to open up not even a minute before 4:30am. It said 4am on the door. Then when she opened up she was rude, abrupt no eye contact. Did not have some of the items first asked for on the menu. All in all very disappointed with the value and service.

Friendly staff, however food choice very restricted, tepid mushroom soup, fruit, cake or cheese and crackers were all that was on offer, will reconsider another booking of this lounge !

The lounge was overall comfortable and pleasant. However when we arrived the lady that booked us in was not customer focused at all..Her attitude was "short" to say the least... Their was not a great selection of food? The soup was Mushroom, I am allergic to Mushrooms, I asked but no alternative was offered... Their was fruit cake, no other selection of Cake.. Although rolls where available, if you didnt have the soup there was no alternative for a filling?

Not a relaxing ambience, not enough seating, and overall not very well laid out. The food was also of a poor quality, looking tired & dried. Overall not a very good experience.

Overcrowded, people sleeping at some of the tables taking up space, poor food selection and just not good value for money.

Unfortunately it was not possible to get to the lounge without a ticket. We arrived in Heathrow from Philadelphia and got off the plane but were told there is no way to get to the lounge without an airline ticket. I assume that means this lounge is intended for departures and not arrivals in the UK. That was not clear when we booked the lounge and may be a mistake but we were not able to access the lounge at all making it a frustrating start to our day.

After an extremely long journey from South East Asia - whilst waiting for our final service / connecting flight to Manchester we were expecting a pleasant retreat. Incredibly disappointing experience. A lack of seating (stood for 5 minutes before being able to even sit down), unpleasant bar attendant - telling me to wait (in an authoritive tone) while he fiddled for ages trying to fix the only draft pump, observed constant queues for drinks, untidy, limited reading material and amenities. Finger food and penne pasta forgettable. Feel robbed of hard earned £70 (2 persons) - everything is small/has to be asked for which makes you feel they want to save as much as possible. Please, please save and make your money go further by having a much more pleasant experience outside the lounge in one of many bars/restaurants. We left the lounge prematurely and did just that! We opted to use the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 2 prior to our outbound flight to Asia which at the same price was a world apart. I appreciate T5 is a busy facility, if you cannot sustain a lounge retreat by limiting numbers, obtaining more space, better service and amenities - the Aspire Lounge is not fit for purpose. First time using this lounge and wouldn't recommend. There wasn't a good selection of food or drink, as there is in other lounges and the staff were quite unhelpful. It is also not particularly spacious.
