There was not enough seating. Quality of the coffee was not as expected. Seats were worn. I would not recommend.

Poor selection of food on offer, Internet was very very weak. Was made to print off my coupon when could clearly see is bought and paid for use of the lounge by receipt on my IPhone. Lounges are not clearly sign posted either

1. There was a security issue that arose during our stay at the lounge. At first the staff was unresponsive to the woman who brought this to their attention. After another male guest came forward, they finally called their security person, who quickly addressed the situation. 2. The food on offer was inedible, old and some of it was spoiled. The lounge was operating at capacity, the food was not being eaten. No excuse for not providing fresh food. Lack of clean plates, glasses and utensils. Bring your own food. 3. Lengthy check in process. 4. Lounge is glaringly bright mid-day. 5. More guests than seats. 6. Rest pods were well set up, but a bit creepy to have people wandering around outside looking in through the curtain. Children running outside screaming. 7. It was better than waiting at an airline gate during a long layover, but just barely. 8. The lounge is a great idea-they need to look at how it is managed.

First impressions was good. However upon accidentally bumping into a few friends flying elsewhere on the same day we was accused by staff that groups over 6 are not allowed without prior arangements with management. Upon trying to explain that a) we lived miles apart and b) we we're flying to different places, which the staff didn't seem to want to listen too, we was spoken to another member of staff with an attitude and rudely reminded of their policies about groups of people. Not quite the VIP treatment you'd expect for an international airport. Cream tea before my flight was nice tho....

Food was extremely unappealing, bland cheap cut of chicken. Workmen working on fridges/cold units whilst full of food. Thus made it difficult for customers to access units. Floor staff hanging about behind a clearing unit chatting and laughing not attending to customers. Ice empty for drinks. Can honestly say one of my worst experiences in many global lounges. Certainly not worth £25.00 I paid to use.

The lounge was very busy at the time, so this may explain some of the points. However, the food on offer was poor and not as one would expect in a lounge, tables were not cleaned very often and there were no toilet facilities within the lounge. Overall this lounge was of a disappointing standard and I will be looking to some of the other facilities in the future.

Not very impressed with the lounge as we struggled to find any seats. It was too small and overcrowded. Will not use this lounge again at Heathrow, the Aspire lounge at Gatwick is so much better.

Staff at reception area were not really into the whole concept of customer care . I offered a name and booking ref but they wanted written confirmation of the booking advising that the system did not link up or find booking references. After a 12 hour flight not exactly the kind of customer experience I had anticipated. Eventually they found my booking. Lounge was over-crowded with very few places to sit. Food was ok! but only just Ok. TV in pod didn't work. No toilets in the lounge. Not really value for money. Would not use it again. Cheaper to go and have a nice meal in one of the better restaurants at t5

We were disappointed with the lounge, it was very cramped and we struggled to find a seat together and there was a long wait for hot bacon rolls .

To be honest we were very disappointed with this lounge, the ergonomics (layout) was very poor and not conducive to a relaxing time prior to boarding. Not only that, the choice of food was limited and it was extremely busy, we were lucky to find a seat. Would not recommend using this lounge and would not bother coming back!

Arrived around 8.30am and it was so disappointing. Tables still full of previous food/ mess. No plates/ cutlery around and staff were in short supply. I expected a lot better for our money amd was left bitterly disappointed. Tables cleared with a good supply of fresh food available is not too much to expect. If this was an exception then i will always give a company benefit of doubt. We fly back through dubai seperately on the 17/1 and 24/1 so some gesture would help alter our poor experience. I thought the selection of drinks was adequate, although a choice of cider would have been good. The food was absolutely horrendous with only mushroom soup as an option. Occasionally a few sandwiches were put out but it was a fight to get one as everyone who doesn't like mushroom soup was starving! People were leaving the lounge to go and get food from the normal airport facilities. According to your staff it was the worst time of day to be there as if it was a morning I would have had bacon sandwiches and if it was an evening pasta dishes!!

After visiting the Aspire lounge at Newcastle on a number of occasions we were very disappointed with both the service and the food availability, especially as we recommended this to our friends who were travelling with us. We arrived at 10.35am on Boxing Day to be told they were changing over to the lunch menu. We sat a short while and eventually at about 11.15am some soup became available. Unfortunately three of the party of five did not like the soup but at this point we did not feel that was too much of a problem as we had been told that more food was on its way. In-fact we had to ask four times if any other food, other than soup, crisps and olives were available. We kept being told sandwiches were coming out but they did not materialize until 12.50pm and give that we had been in the lounge over two hours and our flight was boarding at 13;00 , this was appalling. We were not the only parties complaining. We are extremely annoyed that we recommended this to our friends and it was not a good experience therefore we will not be giving good reviews about this Lounge on social media. In these times of austerity this was money wasted.

We checked in on Sunday, 20th of december at 8pm and the kitchen was closed! We only had some cheese and peanuts and something to drink. We are from a travel agency and will never recommend the Skylounge in Basel to our clients after this visit!

Very loud and not suitable for people who want to work or relax. I arrived in the morning, wanting to get a little bit of work done in the lounge. Instead there were groups of teenagers drinking beer and being loud.

I spent 12 hours at the Terminal 5 Aspire lounge. My flight from Boston Logan landed at Heathrow at 5am and I reached the lounge at around 5:30am. Although it was supposed to already be open, the lady inside said that the morning staff hadn't arrived and so she didn't know when the lounge would open, but it would most likely be around 6-6:30am. Along with me, there were a few people waiting outside till it finally opened at 6am. Inside the lounge: 1. My layover was 15 hours, so I had to make four 3 hour bookings. When I entered, the lady at the reception was obviously not used to people having reservations for such a long period of time and seemed very suspicious. Her tone was rude until I showed her all my documents. 2. There isn't a restroom inside the lounge. 3. Wifi connection is poor. 4. The sleeping pods are uncomfortable and cold. 5. Half way through my stay, one of the ladies in the lounge comes up to my sleeping pod and shouts through the curtain on my sleeping pod and asks me what time I checked in. Again I had to go through the entire process of taking out my emails to show proof of my 4 reservations. The ladies in this lounge have a habit of being suspicious of whether the guests are over-staying their booking and they are not good at hiding it (and being professional about it) at all. I paid $208 for the entire stay and I'm disappointed mainly at the lack of hospitality. The only good thing was that the food was good and the lounge was pretty clean.
