Excellent position in T5. Excellent and very helpful staff. Food varied wildly between great and poor. Drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were in plentiful supply. Definitely not enough seating.

Not a great choice of food

The lounge itself was great, enough options of hot food/salad items and drink. It would be nicer to have more comfortable table and chairs. It did take us quite awhile to find the lounge and I was a little annoyed that when booking the lounge, we were not notified of the poor walkway leading to the lounge and how long it would take. It was also frustrating that I had to forward my booking to the receptionist - you would expect it to be more streamline - instead I had to connect to the wifi and email the confirmation before we could enter well all I really wanted to do was sit and relax - stressfree

It would have been nice to have had a sandwich or maybe a sausage roll we were quite dissapointed there were only crisps cereal nuts and cake.

My first impression weren't great since there were two parties of people making a lot of noise, and there were lots of dirty cups and plates scattered around. However, once the two loud parties left and the detritus cleared, it was a pleasant environment in which to relax before a flight. The selection of snacks and drinks was adequate, though I would have liked to have seen bottled water provided. I would suggest that perhaps guests should be invited to be more aware of their volume levels, to avoid bothering others in the quiet area, and that dirty cups, etc, are tidied up in a more timely manner. I would come again, provided it was quiet!

Girl on reception didn't have our booking had poor English and was surly. Lack of seating and food limited to bland vegetarian fayre. Heavily pastry-based stodge. Also no announcement of flight which meant having to keep checking boards. Wasn't overly impressed for the price paid.

The lounge was over crowded difficult to have a private conversation. The refreshments available were ok

Early morning so nice to have the fresh bacon rolls although these were a bit crusty and made quite a bit of mess making extra work for the Staff visible looking to clear tables but with trollies and heels can be quite noisy and a bit invasive. Fridges well stocked and fresh fruit juices and water available.

Snacks were only adequate . Very noisy. Reception staff had a long loud discussion about their work issues.

Drinks and snacks were fine but the hot food choice was very poor we have used numerous lounges over the world and this is not up to the standards we have experienced. Just used Dubai lounge on our recent trip and the hot food was excellent with eight choices of hot meals on offer

The man who was on the reception on the 29th Feb in the morning wasn't very friendly on arrival. He wasn't very helpful either when i enquired about your free wifi. May be he needs some people skills training and learn how to smile. The lady that was restocking the breakfast area and clearing tables was very helpful and friendly. She obviously knows more about customer service than the man on reception.

Although the lounge was comfortable the screen to check up on flight details was obscured from all but the people sitting close to it & because of that I felt compelled to visit it form the time I was due to board until the information I needed to leave the lounge. I was disappointed that free alcohol was available, I arrived at 05.00am & people were already drinking, a group of 5 men next to me were already merry & becoming more so as they seemed to be allowed as much as they wanted because of that they were very noisy. I only ate an apple because I knew I'd be fed on the plane but the food provided looked varied & well laid out.

It was nice to get out of the bustle of the airport and into a more relaxed space, however the lounge was not easy to find. No one new where it was and it was not on the terminal directory. I enjoyed the snacks and coffee but the carpet and upholstery are tired and worn and need to be replaced. I would use your lounge again but it could use an upgrade. Yours truly, Scott Wallace

Quite pleasant except for the bar man commenting that 'it was his duty of care to make sure the passengers didn't drink too much' making it very uncomfortable when requesting another drink.

Although the lounge looks very nice and is comfortable, it is too small for the terminal. Last time I travelled out of terminal 5 there was no lounge so it is welcome but unfortunately, it does not compare to there lounge in terminal 3 which is around the same price. there. Food was nice and a good selection.

Dear Sirs, My visit to the lounge was brief and momentary, a mere 15 minutes, due to very severe delays within check in and security, which only allowed 15 minutes in the lounge, which was not a very pleasant experience due to over booking. My party had to eat and drink standing up, due to no tables or chairs being available, which I find totally unacceptable, when you consider we paid £18.24 each for a cup of coffee and a bacon sandwich with no where to sit and enjoy. I look forward to your response with interest. Yours Faithfully, Mark Meredith.

We have been to several lounges at both Heathrow and Gatwick, and this was the least impressive so far. However, for a couple of hours, it is better than fighting for a seat in the main airport area. The range of snacks is very limited but constantly topped up, the seating was crowded, and we found it challenging to find two adjacent seats. The wifi was a good speed, and for travellers who like to drink alcohol prior to flying, you could easily get good value for money with the wide range of drinks available. Whilst we were there a particularly unruly child, about 4 years old, ran around causing havoc, whilst being nagged and shouted at totally ineffectually by its parents, which I found rather depressing, as I felt sorry for him, whilst others were clearly feeling annoyed at the disruption when they were trying to work or relax. In summary, the lounge did what it said on the tin, so I'm certainly not complaining, however if you are looking for a bit of luxuary to start your holiday, this may not be the best choice for you.

The food is limited in both choice and amount which can be displayed. Also I don't recall a Scottish whisky on the bar. There was certainly no Grouse Whisky which is the brand leader at present. The seating area is very narrow and tighly packed which makes it very cramped for the numbers of people who were using the facility when we were there. I imagine that this unit will be constantly busy as is is the only "public" lounge in terminal 5. More space is certainly needed. i am comparing this unit to other lounges which you operate in the United Kingdom. Jimmy Young

The lounge was clean and tidy but crowded, staff were welcoming and helpful food Acceptable but limited. We had a 5 hour wait between flights and frankly we found the seats uncomfortable sadly too hard and not supportive. our area also had faulty plugs which did not allow my wife to re-charge her I-pad It was acceptable but not the best I have stayed in Mike Cogger
