The lounge at Manchester is OK but no more than that, it is nice to be able to sit in comfort, but when my wife and myself went in, it was overcrowded. We had great difficulty in finding a seat. There are far too many seats for the space. The drinks and cold food are adequate but the Bacon sandwiches were of poor quality, the bread was hard ( a general comment from all around me ) and one small rasher per breadcake is inadequate. Overall, I think that some seats should be taken out and access restricted, I would be prepared to pay more for better quality.

We arrived Sunday evening very little selection of food, and not replenished while we where there. We had to use the normal airport toilet facilities which we had to leave the lounge for. Over all better than waiting in the terminal. No newspaper left of magazines to read.

Good selection of alcoholic drinks, nice friendly staff, very nicely decorated and modern. Although it is quite small and the choice of food was very small. Definitely worth the price overall.

Slightly disappointed at self service set up. Bacon sandwiches barely warm. Had to move seats because A/C was freezing. On the plus side it was nice and peaceful.

Normally like the bacon rolls but soft rolls are needed not the crusty ones as the crumbs go everywhere making a mess on you and extra work for the staff who do a good job of keeping it clean and are busy enough without the added work although a little to keen at times as can be a distraction moving around with the trolled. Morning so also supply of fresh juices and yoghurt. A lot better then the old lounge and the individual tables with televisions is good but maybe headphones for these as noise from 4 different programs can be a distraction.

the lounge is nice and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, the one thing that could be improved is the way they present and serve their bacon sandwiches, they were dry and crusty because they were kept in a hot cupboard, if the bread rolls were kept separate it would solve this, I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a problem to fix, other than that all was okidokey

Too small an area, didn't get a double seat straightaway. Selection of drinks and food was good.

Rather disappointing that after taking the trouble to book electronically beforehand we had to join a long queue of passengers who were paying up front there and then . Even more disappointed to find there was little food left and we could not sit together brcause the place was so full..What is the point of prebooking? No seats ,no food yet more folks being told theLoinge was full.

The lounge was very busy due to flight delays and I had to queue to get in. Otherwise everything else was good.

Airport lounges are becoming much more popular but the impression I get is that staff just aren't geared up for the increase in volume. Staff were slow to clear away the tables, particularly given the constant influx of people. Limited variety of snacks available, but we were aware of that from the booking. Wifi was VERY slow. Frustrating to wait for someone at the bar to serve drinks; what was wrong with serve yourself (as previously)? Having said all that, still value for money at £16 a head.

This was a nice lounge. Not the best jot he worst just nice. He staff were great. The food was decent and there was a good selection of drinks. The lounge itself is a little small, crowded and a little noisy. I made a b-line for the rest area and was lucky to get one of the cubicles. There was a comfortable chair to lie down in and a tv. But the tv didn't work a big dissapointment but I had my laptop and hit Netflix. Overall I will come here again if I don't have access to the BA lounge. But only if I have another long layover.

Initially, was disappointed that on arrival there was no one to greet my group, and then was asked to wait in line as there was a queue to gain access to the lounge as it was full. It wasn't until I advised that I had made a reservation we gained access but was told that we may not be sitting together. But space was found for us. The food and beverage on offer was more than satisfactory.

Lounge is located in a corner of the terminal with plenty of natural light. Food and drink was plentiful and of a good quality at the time we were there which was breakfast. Lounge did feel crowded and wasn't overly spacious with several little niggles. Some of the power sockets didn't work, some high tables positioned next to the low chairs seemed a tad odd and info screen not working. Based on this experience we wouldn't pay the money again for this lounge.

The lounge is very small not enough seating . Some customers were hogging 4 seats to themselves . There was no draught lager however staff were very pleasant and helpful and although there was a limited selection of food it was well presented and good .

On entering the lounge we where greeted by a friendly lady, this was the fastest piece of service. When you went to the bar for a drink you had to wait a longer than average time to get service. The food was very limited bacon sandwiches and a soup that did not resemble what it was supposed to be. The temperature could have done with being increased by a couple of degrees - it was one up from being cold and there where a few guests commenting on this. It was reasonably quiet as there where no loud groups to interfere with you relaxation before take off

Sunday 6 March: Overall I was somewhat disappointed with my lounge experience. While I could not fault the service of the staff, I found the environment of the lounge disappointing. It was small and rather restricted for space - on this particular visit it was very busy with limited availability of seating - created an environment that was not conducive to resting/working. I had a a total 7 hour lay over between flights (although only being able to access the lounge for 3 hours) and would have valued the opportunity to progress some work but the noise and disruption was not conducive/supportive to any focussed or concentrated working. However it was the temperature of the lounge which gave most concern. The 'design' of the lounge - which is nothing more than a 'sectioning' or 'partitioning' of the concourse - made it cold and noisy. The 'open' design with no fixed walls - one could look over to the gate/tarmac access below - resulted in a continual draught flowing through the lounge. This was not something I expected or indeed have experienced in visiting other airport lounges across the world. I mentioned this to the reception staff but there was obviously very little that could be done to resolve this issue. This had a significant negative impact on my experience. I was actually surprised that, on leaving the lounge, the actual main concourse was warmer than the lounge!!!

There seem to have been cutbacks in what used to be available - less choice, no clotted cream, fewer cheese types. The lounge remains a haven of peace and quiet.

Hot food not always available, usually it has run out by 5.30pm. Well maintained and staff pleasant. Not enough electrical sockets around the seating Grated cheese is a poor substitute for individual portions of cheese and for a high protein item more prone to bacteria, not very inviting. Coffee machine only gives you half a cup of coffee.
