Although we did enjoy our short stay in lounge we were disappointed with the snacks on offer , the soup was very nice but when we asked if there were any bread or rolls to accompany it we were told what you see is what you get .when we visited the lounge at Bristol air port we were offered warm rolls , scones and cream etc.i would like to say the coffee tea and other drinks were very good.

It wasn't busy , staff had to much time on there hands . Tables were left uncleared ages after people had left . Floors around tables were littered with rubbish . Went to bathroom at one point , 2 guys were cleaning the men's toilet which was just before ladies . It was like I was invisible trying to get past them . Food was basic but ok . Book online , much cheaper than if you just turn up . Wouldn't recommend unless you literally want some where quiet to sit . But book online .

Very busy ,very noisy ,not a relaxing atmosphere as we had expected to begin our long trip Too many guests in insufficient space ,seating not comfortable No toilet or washing facilities within the lounge .Couldnt access internet as I was told there were too many users logged on already ! Food was satisfactory but limited .

The lady who greeted us at the desk was rude and made us feel unwelcome. I then had to use the toilet outside the lounge and again felt uncomfortable approaching the same member of staff

Toilets poor. Only one western. Very old. Shabby furniture in lounge. Food reasonable. Convenient location.

The lounge was crowded and despite this people who had not booked were allowed to enter the lounge. It would have been more comfortable to have spent the cost of the lounge on a meal at one of the eateries at the terminal.

The lounge was far too overcrowded. Standing room only. Luckily we managed to get one seat (between the two of us!) so took it in turns to sit down. Not the start we had really wanted to our holiday. Surely there should be a maximum capacity allowed?

The lounge was very full and provided no seating. The receptionist was rude. The lounge was exceptionally hot.

Food was good however lounge was overcrowded & offered no privacy. Internet was extremely slow. Utilized shower & there was no hot water or towels provided. Fortunately I had one with me. Was very hard to find, airport information services was unfamiliar with the location & online booking instructions did not give accurate directions. Went to 3 other lounges & wasted over an hour trying to find & was at opposite end of concourse from departure gate. Will not use again.

Hi Erin, Some of the food items in this lounge are available upon request and do need preparation time however having said that there are items on display that are self serve that are replenished throughout the day. Regarding the Rest Pods in the lounge they are based on a first come first serve basis however in the near future we are looking looking to add the facility to reserve the Rest Pods. The lounge was very small and claustrophobic compared to those I have been into in Terminal One. When we arrived there were no seats available and people were having to stand and try to drink and eat.

Way too small. At 9.00am the place was packed, difficult to get a seat. The breakfast food was of a very poor standard-I had the bacon sausage and scrambled egg of which only the bacon was edible. The staff could not keep up with the the the amount of cold drinks being consumed so were constantly having to re-fill the containers but as a result getting in the way of guests trying to get one! The table I finally got was dirty both on top and underneath. I felt it was £30 wasted and would not return.

Red wine was unpalatable. Couldn't book an appointment in the spa, despite there not appearing to be anyone else using it, and the use of the sleeping pods wasn't regulated. Food was okay. Probably won't be paying to return.

I was somewhat disappointed with my experience. My partner had booked me into the lounge because I had a long wait befor taking a flight to Auatralia. Firstly reception seemed to have difficulty finding the booking and kept telling me the lounge was for members only despite me having the booking reference on my iPad. Secondly the coffee machine was out of order, and the bar staff were frequently away from their station. The food was only adequate. I was surprised that there were no toilet facilities . The layout was open and whilst restful did not afford any privacy, it was in effect sitting behind a screen separating us from the main concourse.

Not really a lounge, it appears more like a waiting room for a restaurant. Very badly signposted and even airport staff did not know where it was. I had booked online but did not have access to a printer so I was asked to email the reservation to them, I sent it three times and staff kept coming back saying they hasd not received it. This meant I didn't get the rest I was intending to get! That said, the food selection seemed good but it was late at night and all Iwanted was some peace and quiet. Not the high standards you expect in Dubai!

Paid the extra to use the aspire plus lounge and couldn't help but feel disappointed. Very little food, had to ask for more to be put out. Had to ask for more drinks to be put in fridge as they hadn't been checked for a while. Staff were rarely seen. Not worth the extra compared to the standard aspire lounge

Hi Zoey, Disappointed to read you did not enjoy your visit to the Aspire Plus Lounge at Newcastle Airport. Thee food in this lounge is prepared fresh upon request therefore there is preparation time involved. Regarding your comments about the drinks and lack of staff this is something I will raise with the lounge manager. Regards Aspire Lounges

Very understaffed. The beds with the view of the runway were filthy with crumbs everywhere. You don't expect that from a 'VIP' lounge so to be honest I was very disappointed. On a plus side the bacon rolls were always kept stocked up but at a price of waiting times for a drink and general cleanliness. I fly often from Manchester but I doubt I will use the lounge again. Regards Tom
