The bar lacks "baileys" ! Also wider range of hot food needed along with more extensive drink list. Screaming kids should also be banned!

Not worth the money! Had previous visited and enjoyed hence booking for my last trip. Was restricted to 2 double vodkas, would be aswel at the airport bar! Service of staff was poor! Would not considering booking again if '4 measure restriction on drinks' & quality of service remained!

• It doesn't compare to the lounge at Glasgow Airport • there were works going on which was a bit of disturbance. That's fine - but notifying this before-hand or compensating for this would have done • limited seating available, seating very close together - had to let people in/out squeeze in/out • toilets off-site

We found this to be quite poor. Nothing as good as the other lounges we have been in at Gatwick

Let me first start by saying I have visited the Glasgow Airport Lounge on a number of occasions previously and have enjoyed all of my visits until the most recent. I booked the lounge for me and my partner, as a way to relax and unwind from the stresses of travelling the Glasgow from our hometown, dropping kids off to babysitters and catching buses and trains. Within five minutes of arriving at the lounge, my optimistic mood had been rained on. A female member of staff, whom I have seen during previous visits and assumed to be someone who wasn't particularly happy in her job, was storming around the lounge collecting glasses with nothing short of abject disdain for her patrons. I noticed that the 'self-service' area of the past was now decorated with a large barrier cornering off the alcohol and a sign defying anyone to help themselves; so I waited at the blockade for some time before the aforementioned unhappy lady humphed over and asked what I wanted. To save having to queue again and further inconvenience the lady I ordered a double vodka and diet coke in a tall glass with ice, apparently very foolishly. No doubles? For what reason? None that I could intelligibly muster up, maybe foolish of me but I do work in the bar trade and couldn't think of a justifiable reason. No ice. I queried if there were to be any ice in the near future, or if they had now entered into a permanent state of ice-less service provision to which the lady scathingly retorted that there "was none, and I can't get any more 'cause I'm too busy." Charming. Each subsequent time my partner or I approached the self-service area for either the food or the alcohol for which we had paid to avail of, we both reported feeling policed by this member of staff. It was as if each time we helped ourselves to the complimentary refreshments, a tiny piece of her heart died. We also witnessed her completely berate another male member of staff in view of all other patrons, specifically those in the alcoholic-rations queue; her rationale was that a customer had asked for a single measure + mixer then returned immediately after for another single measure, which he then added to his first order. A clever way of working the system, although I don't feel that a paying, fully adult, customer felt too clever at having to resort to schoolboy tactics to enjoy his tipple of choice. Anyway, unhappy ice-heart lady took issue with this and proceeded to loudly question her teammates competence and threateningly inform him that "the police were right there!", where the police were, I have no idea as I couldn't see them but then again maybe they have a secret spy hole behind the optics to monitor any illegal double-measure drinking within the airport grounds. Of course, the poor guy couldn't control what the man did with his alcohol after ordering it so it obviously wasn't his fault, but why the unnecessary rule anyway? Why are you forbidden for daring to double up on your measure? Nowhere else in the airport upholds this rule, if anything it only encouraged me to drink my single unit measures more quickly. To be truthful, I have recommended the Glasgow Airport Lounge to several friends and colleagues in the past but after that experience I have had to be truthful about my feelings towards the service we received. Even Wetherspoons make you feel like a more worthwhile member of society.

Rather substandard , with cups etc taking time to be cleared and counters taking time to be filled. Most of the staff were pleasant but just a lack at that time of day.

As regular travellers with no children we have in the past always booked and enjoyed the sky lounge however between thr changes to check in (cannot drop bags till 2hrs prior take off) abd the fact that as coach travellers we were herded into a small room eith no views only a couple of small windows high up it was not a pleasant experience. Add to that the service was poor and I was challenged when I asked for two drinks (one for me and one for my husband) apparently you must get yiur own. Will not use again.

We were quite dissapointed with the minimal choice especially for our son who is 7 years old. He had expected pancakes etc as this is on offer within the airport lounge through virgin. Also there were no activities for children.

There wasn't any atmosphere, no background music,no talking, tables weren't very clean, staff ok but customer service wasn't what you would expect in paid lounge. I wouldn't book this again but rather go into the airport bars & cafes.

Food quality average , most of chairs are dirty, only one toilet for all guests, bar run out of drinks, pastries looks like from yesterday , staff aperience too casual. No difference to cheap lounges apart of space .

I have already written a comment, which was received by the Airport, but my wife and Iwere on a holiday to celebrate out 40th Wedding Anniversary. The Lounge was very nice, until a hen party of about 15 people arrived, and began ordering drinks,as if it was going out of fashion, much of which were left on the tables. The noise was terrible, including bad language, and other people left, and people coming in,turned and went. The staff simply laughed and let them carry on.I accept, that they had paid their £20 each, but it spoilt the beginning of our holiday.I have used the airport for 45 years,so no complaints about the airport. The airport said they would forward the e-mail to Swissair, but nothing heard.

Not a great experience unfortunately. The Gatwick airport lists this as family friendly with a games area for children, but it turn out this was removed well over a year ago - though we only found this out AFTER we had paid and entered! The staff inside were great and attentive, and the lounge was clean and the food relatively well stocked, however the greeter couldn't have had a more miserable look on her face when greets people - at first I thought maybe just for families, but in general she seemed very unhappy to have any clientele. So despite the great work of the staff inside, we won't be using this lounge again. That should keep the greeter happy at least..

I didn't think it was worth the cost.. Not as much choice as Manchester Airport. Will use terminal seating rather than pay for the lounge. Expected more from Heathrow.

Poor food choices, not enough drinks diversity, rude personnel, hot in summer even with the air conditioning on, even worse customer support if you try to complain. Avoid it!

Our flight was delayed and we were asked to leave the lounge which was very embarassing as it looked like we had done something wrong. The lounge was not very busy and when we eventually got on our flight we recognised customers that we had seen in the lounge that were not asked ot leave. We did not drink any alchohol, hd a coffee and a newspaper. I certainly will not be paying for this again

Small, crowded and not worth the money. You're better off going to one of the restaurants! We were "too late" for the bacn butties - the other food was poor - cheese left out and not refrigerated, for example. Staff rude and not very helpful at all.

Rather disappointing, not worth the money, cream leather chairs showing signs of wear, food not very nice, mushroom soup was not good at all, only bread was sliced doughy white. Have been in other airport lounges and they have been good hence the disappointment with this one.
