They let in a group of lads that were obviously on a stag party to Las Vegas and there was more than 7 of them, load and rowdy. Ruins the whole point of booking a lounge.

Needs updating , dirty viewing windows poor selection of food and drink. No decent hot food . take a look at Gatwick - that's how it should be done! - will not use again.

The environment is lovely, but the queuing for drinks rather than serve yourself means the staff are stretched, long queues and not the relaxing experience it used to be. Paying extra for Aspire Plus is ok, but the staff are so busy in the other lounge that service is sporadic. Not a very well thought through concept I'm afraid, but I doubt you'll listen because it's easy to see that you are raking it in by the queues

We used the lounge 7am , the choice of food was poor, cereals or bacon mini rolls, bacon was dry and tasteless, rolls were tiny, expected at least full english og some description, could have got more for less if I had ate in one of the outside restaurants.paid a lot of money for nothing.

My wife and I were very disappointed with the Gatwick North Aspire. The carpets were not clean, the staff showed an element of lethargy. There was no toilet paper on the toilet rolls, they were strewn on shelves etc.. The soup was an hour later than advertised. The bacon in the rolls was cold. There was no newspapers available. I had bought one and was asked twice if I was finished with it.. All in all it was well below our expectation.

We were very disappointed with our experience of the executive lounge. After a manic packing session before heading to Heathrow we mistakenly put our booking confirmation in with our check in luggage. We released this after checking in so when we reached the lounge we explained to the staff member what had happened thinking that it would be a simple case of her checking to see that we were scheduled to be there and letting us through. Oh no though, the staff member said that it was not possible and that if we could not prove we had booked it we wouldn't be given allowed in. After embarassingly being made to stand by the doorway and search through our phones for some kind of booking confirmation for around 20 minutes, I decided to question her again about her inability to just check the list of system for our names. After I suggested that we may complain she summoned all of her effort to check and proceeded to let us though. Not a great start to our holiday, and once in it left us in quite a bad mood. On the plus side, the drinks were good and the food, although basic, was ok. Would we book again? I don't think so. We would look for an alternative lounge that hopefully had considerate staff.

I have visited the aspire lounge at gatwick on a number of occasions and I feel it is in need of an update of food, interior and decor it's very old fashioned next time we fly from gatwick we will be looking at other lounges.

I have used the executive lounges my times prior to its upgrade The thing I liked about the lounge was it was relaxing and you could Just go up and help yourself to a hot or cold drink. I used the new lounge recently and it was horrific On the day it was full of children running screaming around the room, it is a windowless room where as before it was pleasant to watch the planes going off. I was also stunned to see an up grade cost to the executive lounge, and huge queues for hot and cold drinks. All in all would I use it again then the answer would be no. I have no issue paying extra for an executive lounge but I do have an issue paying to basically sit in another part of the departure lounge while large groups of people basically try and get as many free drinks into themselves before their flight. Loved past experiences prior to new lounge, all in all unhappy with the changes sorry

There were so many people using the lounge that meant we had a job to find seats and there was no snacks to be got the staff were trying hard to keep up but ended up being a bit stroppy with customers not the best start to a holiday

Refreshments are slightly more minimal than expected and described. Staff were quite rude.

The general appearance of the lounge was a little tired with marks on some of the walls and upholstery. The general ambiance was not a good as other lounges I have used at Gatwick. On the good side there was a very good choice of drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic and the early morning breakfast food was of a good quality. The toilet facilities were of a very good standard. The only reason I tried this lounge for the first time was the cost. However, I am now of the opinion that it is worth paying a little more for a better all round experience. Will I use the lounge again, probably not, unless the other lounges are full.

The Lounge was vastly overcrowded and because of this there was very few items of food available. Also we had to wait in a queue to get a drink which I have never had to do before. Then when we eventually got served there were no seats The four of us paid a lot of money for one drink and a packet of peanuts.

Although the host at the lounge was lovely and helpful it was inconvenient that they chose to steam clean the carpets whilst the lounge was open and we had to keep moving seats. Also there was NOT anywhere near the selection of food available as stated on the web page. It was better to be in here than the main departure lounge as we were able to see the aircraft coming and going but over all it was NOT worth the money

I was really disappointed with the sky lounge in Glasgow simply because of one member of staffs attitude. There were 6 girls in my party, we were celebrating a Birthday and had on red and white stripey Where's Wally tops and the socks to match with denim shorts, I only read that football colours weren't accepted so didn't think this would be a problem. On arrival the host took a snooty attitude with us an told us to cover our tops, I explained we didn't realise it was a problem but we would ensure that they were hidden. Once we sat down the other members of staff were lovely and couldn't be any friendlier, the one member of staff who was at the desk approached us again and said she didn't realise we were wearing the red and white socks an had to take them off! I can't imagine why red an white socks would be offensive and other passengers in the lounge approached us to say they thought the way we were being treated was ridiculous! I felt this member of staff had an issue with us since we came in, we are all aged between 29-32 so we are hardly loud, annoying teenagers, we were also sober so that obviously isn't an excuse for her behavior. I was really disappointed an felt embarrassed because it was me who suggested we go there due to the great reviews I heard. All members of staff were lovely except the hostess/receptionist and if she wasn't there with her snooty, condescending attitude I'm sure we would be returning on our next trip, at the moment though we find that highly unlikely.

having been to the lounge before I had enjoyed sitting, relaxing and looking out the windows at the aircraft etc.......however with the new restrictions my wife and i were stuck in the back of the lounge beside the childrens playpark!!!!! the white leather chairs which we had to sit on were filthy......not worth the £35 we paid

Felt it was very poor this time around! It was messy and the tables were dirty, it was an early morning flight so not a lot in the way of food, overall just felt like we had wasted our money.
