The whole area is in desperate need of a revamp. They need to also look at the menu and offer better choices even if the price of access is increased.

Not worth the extra to be in adults only section.

Compared to the previous lounge (Cheviot Lounge) which we found to be well laid out/quiet/customer friendly etc., the new Aspire lounge which although well laid out and well presented was unfortunately spoilt by the numbers of customers who became increasingly noisy and were just taking too much alcohol and free food. There were no seats for us to sit on when we first arrived and it was very overcrowded and quite frankly the staff couldn't cope with clearing tables and replenishing food etc. There needs to be a strict control on numbers allowed in at any one time and a stronger control on the number in any one group of family and friends (I know there was supposed to be a maximum of 8 - but it didn't seem to be imposed). All in all not a very pleasurable experience.

Lounge was dirty and looked old and stayed. Staff took 10 min. To bring more wine as it ran out. Won't be coming again.

No popular magazines, one cupboard taped off and empty, no small cans of coke, only large bottles which were flat, biscuit container empty after five minutes of arrival and not replenished, stale rolls and bacon looked hardly cooked. This was a complimentary visit after bad experience before and would think twice about coming back as the cost was £19 and not worth it, in my opinion

I usually use the BA executive lounges as Im a gold card member. however, i used the aspire lounge and was shocked to see how grubby it was ... needed a good clean and tidy up.

I attended the old style last year and that was far better than this year in May. The staff seemed to hide away everything even though all 5 of us had paid up front.

The toilets were dirty, especially the ladies. The general food area was untidy and the service was not what we had expected.

The lounge was extremely busy & was hard to get a seat which wAs a little dissapointing. Food was limited, but understandable how busy. Not sure it was good value for money I'm afraid.

Your lounge although clean and tidy was not what I was expecting. The reception staff were not the friendliest, and there was no warm reception, my wife and I were merely treated like another visitor and asked for our booking details. The breakfast was a very poor selection, and appeared to be geared towards alcohol more than anything. I booked the lounge in the hope that it would remove the stress of navigating cafe queues and noise in the main terminal, in fact the terminal was quite quiet, and after experiencing your lounge, I would spend the extra money in the terminal canteens and also afford the wait times. Only in extreme busy periods would I consider your lounge again, unfortunately. I also had to wait in line for at least 15 minutes whilst a receptionist checked in an adhoc couple, the whole point of booking in this lounge was so that i could go straight in and relax, your receptionist did not request help from other member's of staff to book us in, and allowed them to carry on with their other more important duties, such as wiping a table, or sitting and having a coffee in the next room. The lack of breakfast items was insufficient, and items such as milk run out very quickly without staff around to refill quickly enough. Generally I felt there was a genuine lack of customer service missing from your lounge, considering that you are marketing a bespoke service, you did not deliver my expectations that your marketeers set very well. Aside from the dissatisfaction detailed above the room was clean, papers were readily available, and there were ample choices of beverages. Best Regards David

I used the lounge in July, so my visit wasn't 'recent' as you say in your email! Overall a little disappointed. Everything seemed to be done on the cheap. Awful wine selection, and non branded spirits. The food was only so-so. I would have preferred something more substantial than just cheese, crackers and crisps. There was soup (not great) but nothing more. We didn't feel we had good value for money and we won't be rushing back!

No newspapers, no WI-FI and inattentive staff. Range and quality of buffet mediocre at best and drinks selection inadequate. Tables remained uncleared and unwiped and a properly cleaned coffee cup was a rarity. In comparison to the Gatwick North lounge, which is excellent, the South lounge was not value for money; I am unlikely to risk it again. Paul Owens.

Air conditioning was not coping to point where everywhere was uncomfortable and the staff were even advising to avoid certain areas where it was extremeley hot. The food/snack options were very limited.

This was back in May 2014. Seating comfortable and quiet. Not much in left food or snacks. Not what we would call Executive Class ( a much misused term). Only red pepper soup was available + biscuits. When we were next in Glasgow airport with friends we found Wetherspoons more congenial if somewhat noisy, but we didn't go hungry after a 90 mile trip to the airport.

Our visit took place on Wednesday 9 July 2014. The only table available had not been cleared after the previous occupants - we cleared it. We were disappointed with the lack of soft seating. The chairs were hard and upright, and suitable for dining, not relaxing with a coffee. The snacks were very limited and unappetising. We left after 10 or 15 minutes after a cup of coffee. The reception desk was unstaffed otherwise we would have provided feedback there and then. The lift to the lounge was not working. We went downstairs to The Bridge Restaurant, where we were made most welcome . We enjoyed good food at reasonable prices and comfortable seating. We were pleased that we had only paid the discounted price available through The Telegraph offer. We have in the past, used a British Airways lounge at HR. This was first rate. Poor selection of food and drink, furniture and decor that are dated and tired, internal windows (no natural light) that are not clean, wifi that doesn't work... A very disappointing experience, especially when compare to the equivalent at Stansted. Would not use again (unless it is seriously revamped and improved).

The reason why I book the business section of the lounge is to enjoy the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle in the terminal. Whilst that is normally the case on my last visit in October there were a number of young children in the lounge making a bit of a noise. When I enquired of the receptionist why children had been admitted I was told that it was because the holiday section had been overbooked. In my view they should not have been admitted to the "quiet lounge" and refunded their money with an apology for the overbooking. Whilst I appreciate this would have inconvenienced the families involved, but by admitting them a lot more people who were looking for peace and quiet suffered inconvenience through no fault of theirs. A repeat of this would discourage me from booking your lounge in the future. I would be grateful to hear your comments
