The lounge appears to have been shoe horned into a bit of spare space at T5. It is cramped, seats are uncomfortable, food selection poor, there are no toilets in the lounge, you have to use the public toilets outside. Overall very poor value for money and will not use your lounges again.

The choice of food selection. After 2 recent visits to Aspire at Bristol where the food choice was amazing and drink selection I felt a croissant & cakes was not an acceptable breakfast. I had to eat croissants and cakes and when I came out of there I felt ill with all the sugar. At Bristol a bacon roll was far more acceptable for breakfast instead of sugary snacks. I also had to ask for alcoholic drinks, in other airport lounges you can help yourself. It felt as though you being treated like a child in case you had too many! However staff were lovely and very helpful. I just felt the food choice was poor.

For several years we have used this lounge and found it to be very good. This year we found the ladies toilet out of action together with one of the tea / coffee machines. Will consider using another lounge when next at Gatwick North.

It says it included alcoholic drinks... it only includes beer. Not a big variety of food, pretty tasteless what there was available. Wifi was rubbish the free one in airport was better. Waste of money!

On arriving the actual area for sitting was fine. However the food on display was awful, a couple of dry cheese sandwiches that looked most unappetising, no pastries to have with coffee or tea, just two little squares of chocolate type cake to choose from and just 1/2 a cup of coffee dispensed at time.

Mid afternoon and out of many things. When we went in, the hostess forewarned us, they didn't have vodka. Fine by us, but others I'm sure would have been disappointed. One choice of beer and it was draught. Replenishing food service was slow, as was replacing the wine. The used dishes were seldom collected. Two tables stayed uncleaned for at least a half hour, they were still covered with used serveware when we left. Absolutely no comparison to the old lounge where we enjoyed visiting. If you are going to serve food, there should be food in the steamers, not just water.

On arrival, I was told there was a 45 minute wait to gain access. I told the receptionist that I had paid for 3 hours and he aniseed me that because I hasn't turned up at exactly 3 hrs prior to my flight time them I wasn't guaranteed entry. He ended up relecting and I was able to get in. Once in, there were seats. The breakfast choices were poor quality and no cutlery (had to use plastic). There was no feeling of it being an 'executive' experience. The choice of drinks was limited and the diet soda was out of action. One of the plug sockets would not charge my phone and I had to move. Overall, very disappointing.

I have only used lounges twice before and on both occasions I was made to feel special - lounges were quiet, clean with excellent refreshments and staff. At Montego Bay the lounge was very noisy, the food and drink available was limited and poor quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful but it felt like a railway waiting room - certainly not special and not worth the money. I

Other than soup, no hot food at all. The lounge itself has all the welcome of a 1970's factory canteen. The staff on arrival were surly and miserable, i was almost sorry to interrupt them. I wont be going back, there are other, better lounges available for a similar price

No soup on arrival very little choice of food. We are not big drinkers so we felt it was poor value for money. I realise it must have been a busy period but we queued for 10 mins . Not really happy. If we'd eaten elsewhere there would have been a choice

The website stated there would be sausage egg and bacon sandwiches. There was only fatty bacon sandwiches on offer. When I asked a member of staff they laughed as of it was a stupid question and said no its just bacon.

Hi Lewis, It is really disappointing to read your comments that the lounge did not live up to your reasonable expectations. However I would just like to bring to your attention that the Manchester T2 Lounge unfortunately does not offer sausage or egg sandwiches, nor does the website advertise them. The full food listing on the website states: Morning Available between 04:00 - 11:00 Selection of Cereals Croissants Pain au Chocolat Selection of Yoghurts Bacon Sandwiches Fruit Selection of Fruit Juices I hope this helps answer the issues you have raised. Kind Regards Stacey (Aspire Team)

Better than just sitting in the airport, but only just. The seats were comfy, but a lot of the seating is benches, which are pretty uncomfortable. The lounge is narrow, which makes it feel cramped. They had placed reserved badges on the best seating, although there was no one sat in them in the 3 hours we were in the lounge. This was particularly annoying as they shut half the lounge whilst we were there to do some cleaning. No toilets, so if you need the toilet you need to go back out of the lounge into the main airport toilets. The hot food is limited in selection, but was of a good quality. Drinks were also good. If you are travelling in the evening and plan to use the spa, you'll find it shuts at 5pm and not 8pm as advertised on the lounge website. And it's a small room for 1 person at a time, we walked past a much larger spa that was open in the main airport as we walked to our gate. Probably not a big thing for a lot of people, but my wife is pregnant and I'd planned to get her a massage to help relax her before the flight to help her sleep, as we had a night flight, so frustrating for us. There are lots of powerpoints in the lounge, so good if you're looking to charge laptops/ phones etc. Overall, not a particularly relaxing experience and in my opinion not worth the money - if you plan to drink lots and eat lots of pasta/ crisps/ biscuits it's a value option, but if you're going for a relaxing experience I wouldn't bother. It could just be a matter of perspective; compared to other lounges it's a really poor version, compared to the main airport it's slightly better.

I have never been in the lounges before but I won't be going again - I felt it wasn't value for money and there wasn't enough food choice - if u drink alcohol then it's worth it but if u don't drink like us then it's not worth it - too many fancy foods nothing standard to choose from

Hi. The lounge was nicely decorated with a variety of areas to relax in. It was uncrowded too which was great. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and there was a good selection of food and beverages freely available. The big disappointment for me was that there was only one toilet cubicle in the men's toilet and not much room in the bathroom for freshening up between flights which was one of the main things I was looking for between a 7 and a 12 hour flight. Next time I'll plan a stop-over instead. But it's a nice place to relax if bathroom needs are not a priority.

There was not an abundance of seating and they continued letting as many people in as possible. The food was not very good and the spa was closed so I could not get a much needed massage, which is why I went there.

When we went in on the way back from Montego Bay the lounge was over crowded very hard to find a seat the food was very depleted we were asked by a waitress if we wanted a drink but the drink never appeared I fetched it myself, then a bit later on she came around to ask for drink orders and yet again it did not arrive. All in all for the cost of £40.00 it was very poor value for money we let after about half and hour. What food that was there was of very poor quality

Very average all round. Food was very basic and limited. Lack of cutlery, had to ask for as none was present. Serving tongs were broken making it difficult to use.

Snacks and drinks were ok. The wine was awful, undrinkable. I am no wine snob but this was terrible, the kind of thing you would get in a bad spanish hotel. Wouldnt book this lounge again, would pay a bit extra for drinkable wine!
