On entry the girl behind the desk was on her phone and I had to wait for her to finish whatever she was doing before I got served. She then lacked the correct information when I spoke to her about Swissport as I used to be Servisair staff a long time ago but decided to be rude about it like I was stupid. A lot of the tables were dirty. Liquids on them. Glasses and food still on them. It took nearly 20 minutes before someone came out and cleaned the table next to me. But still left a lot of others dirty. Some of the plug sockets by the window didn't work. On the plus side. The coffee machine was good. Quick and a good serve. The food choices and range of beer I thought were spot on also. Sadly it was the customer service that let this down.

Although I had booked via the web I was told at the door "There is a 20 minute wait'. When I handed over the receipts, the very offhand receptionist looked up on his computer and then ignored me. After a short wait he looked up and said - very brusquely - "Well go in then". I realized that booking into this expensive lounge does not get one into comfort. The lounge was so full I managed only to get an uncomfortable chair at a small table that was covered in other peoples food containers and trash. The area to collect food is a narrow little passage that was always congested and difficult to negotiate. The staff was - not rude - but not pleasant nor friendly. I will NOT go to this lounge again. The experience was not worth the money expended.

The lady on the desk didn't know how to use computer so took ages to check in. The room it's self is in need to a spruce up as looking tired & unloved was very busy so everyone was having to wait for bacon sandwiches as was when it first opened.

Far too busy. Tables full of rubbish and dirty dishes. Bar ran out of glasses. Long wait at the bar, food and drinks not topped up quick enough when empty

Whilst the atmosphere and staff were very pleasant there was several drinks that were not available.

Not enough staff to get served with drinks, very little on offer food wise as we were in over the lunch time period. There was mushroom soup ( which was very nice), but no sandwiches or rolls. There were crisps, fruit and cheese & biscuits (but no choice of cheese, only cheddar). Have used these lounges quite frequently and this was the worst experience to date.

We joined a queue to get in and the lady at the front appeared to be paying in cash to enter. We also witnessed an argument with a potential user who was not allowed to enter because it was too full, he said he had a card entitling him to free entry. We agree that the lounge was overcrowded already, perhaps because of unexpected guests. We paid for a lounge for a bit of quiet and some room and got precisely the opposite. There was nowhere to sit together

It was first experience of an airport lounge and I was disappointed as it was difficult to find any where to sit down and the atmosphere was like a library

This visit we actually managed to get 2seats together. However there was very little choice of snacks, we ended up having a few packets of crisps, crackers and cheese. It was not worth the money we paid. Last year we were disappointed but we put that down to the fact that it was very early and there were too many people in there, more than there were seats for. But this time we were in from 2pm and I expected more choice. Probably will not bother using the lounge next year as it is definitely going down hill and too over priced for what you got. This is my 7th year and very sad. I used to always recommend friends to use but now in all fairness to them I cannot.

Not comfortable, very crowded - some people had to wait 20 minutes to get in. The food was acceptable and the staff were courteous but when we travel Business class the lounges are much more relaxed and offer a laid back experience which this was not. Was it worth paying to avoid sitting outside in the terminal? Well, it was marginal and we will not be hurrying back. Sorry to be so negative but that was our experience.

We arrived and I thought your selection for lunch was very poor I don't know why your bacon rolls are only for breakfast. And not everyone wants soup. I would think twice about booking aspire again

There was no seating available, even though we had pre booked. Not enough charging points. There was a limited selection of food. I have been to other aspire lounges and this one at terminal 5 was diapointing as it was small and over crowded. There was also no forks and the staff were not helpful when I asked if there any clean ones coming out, and I had to wait a long time.

For 30 pounds per head I was expecting waiter/waitress service. I felt very cramped & narrow within the seating & corridor areas. If not having spa treatments, complimentary showers should be included within the 30 pound fee. Other passengers lying on couches & wearing baseball caps & continuously swearing. I was not happy at all.

The lounge was extremely crowded and it was nearly impossible to get seats. We pre-paid for lounge access, but it turned out that our airline tickets included complimentary access to this lounge anyway. The food and drinks were OK and the staff were obviously working very hard.

We felt there were too many seats and the room was very crowded. I noticed someone come in in a wheelchair but turned around as he could get in. Also dress code there was someone in a football shirt and others in emblazoned tee shirts. Not what we paid for. On a positive the staff were very nice
