The only Hot Food that was available was Soup....other Airport Lounges that we have used offer a much wider range of food/snacks.....apart from the Soup, there was only Cheese, Crackers, Nuts and Crisps, plus, what looked like "Mr Kipling" Cherry Tarts! I thought there is an Age Restriction on Guests.....when we were there, there was a family group that included a baby (approx 4 weeks old) and a child (approx 4 years old).

I thought the lounge in Bristol was extremely poor !there were dirty tables everywhere and very little choice to eat ! The soup which my husband and I chose was cold !

I'm afraid it's not a particularly inviting lounge, and the choice is very limited there is no way it is value for money, I couldn't even find a sandwich to eat.

We arrived at 11.10am and was told breakfast had ended at 11am. No food was available for approximately 1hr. The small amount of sandwiches were quickly taken from the counter leaving us and other customers with nothing to eat. The room was extremely busy and did not offer us the comfort and facilities we expected.

It wasn't great from the off. Firstly we had to queue for 10-15 minutes when we arrived as there was a maybe 10 people in front of us, even though we had pre-booked. The person behind the desk couldn't have looked more miserable if he'd tried and was less than helpful or welcoming. When we did get in, the place smelt of body odour - alot! There were very few seats, or free tables. Any that were free were covered in plates, cups, glasses, empty food wrappers, and half eaten food. There were way too many tables and chairs in a confined space. Some people were looking like they were camping there for hours or even days, not waiting a hour or two for a flight. To be fair the drinks and the snacks were good, but when you are eating/drinking in a sweaty box the shine is taken off a little. The cleaning staff were nice, but just overrun and there wasn't nearly enough of them. The whole place just felt like it needed some management, getting people to take their feet off chairs, stop speaking on speaker phones out loud, moving chairs back to where they should be, managing the queues better, having more staff customer facing etc...

Limited seating. Bacon rolls preheated in a warming cabinet, took a long time to clear tables of previous customers, limited interaction from staff. Have been to two other lounges at Manchester and they were far superior, won't be using again.

Too expensive unless you wanted to be completely drunk by 7.30 in the morning! Only offered a few rolls & crisps. We visited the Escape Lounge at Stansted on the way out, that's what you call an Executive lounge.

Having an early monrning departure 3:05am I was hoping to get some sleep. Unfortunately because of the positioning of the lounge above a tapas bar and the fact that it was not enclosed from the noise of the general longe area I was unable to get any sleep. The loung is well maintained and comfortable but is completely in the wrong place.

No advanced warning was given to me that the sleeping pods were not available due to construction. The handheld credit card machine wouldn't accept my credit cards (American Express and Chase Visa) even though there were no issues with my credit status or balance (they functioned fine at a restaurant in the airport) and the staff person was slightly surly with his assistance - or lack thereof. I will not be using Executive Lounges in the future!

The service was poor. Staff were unfriendly and rude. The food provided was poor and at one point most of it was taken away.

We arrived at about 11.30 on Saturday the 17th September - there was no hot breakfast items left, only cold pastries but we were told that the lunch was coming out shortly. We got a beer and spirit drink and waited until about 12.15 when sandwiches were brought out. There were two types, both of which were mixed with mayonnaise ie prawn and tuna and as neither my partner or I like mayonnaise we were unable to have any. There was mushroom soup on offer, and that was it. By 1 o'clock no other food had been brought out so we left and went to the food hall in terminal 1 and purchased food there before our flight. So for over £20 each (including vat) we had one drink, a cold pastry and a couple of biscuits. Not value for money at all. The lounge was also very busy and we sat in the quiet area only to be surrounded by noise. We won't be using this facility again.

Although the number of guests is controlled we found the lounge to be much too busy. People were having difficulty finding seating together. If not for other guests moving many couples would not have been able to sit together. The are designated for food and drink was far too small which meant that often choice was limited unless multiple visits were made to the counters.

disappointing. Choice of food was very limited. No fresh fruit available which surely should be standard. A waste of money

Range of breakfast foods was poor. Very quiet (which was nice to get away from the hussle of the normal lounge but some music or something would have been good) drink range wasn't brilliant either!

Following our visit at John lennon lounge I thought it was not as good as Manchester, there was no brandy available for me to drink on that day and no ice and was under staffed by far as I had to wait at the bar for approx 6 minutes at one point

having used several lounges around the world, this was the worst. The staff were at times rude and seemed too busy to provide the 'extra service' expected in a VIP/plus lounge. We usually use the normal lounge and found the service poor when paying extra. The food options on menu were not available due to change in supplier (we were told), self service food bar was difficult for my wife and daughter who are both registered disabled as the counters are very high, even for able bodied man at 5'8" the counters are high to obtain food items from the rear of chilled cheese/meat area. We felt uncomfortable when served alcohol as if we were being watched, as grown adults and regular travellers we know the limits for flying and how to behave. The seating arrangements are cramped and unsatisfactory for a VIP/Plus lounge. The whole experience was unacceptable and we left prior to our flight and used a main stream bar for better food and more comfortable pre-flight drink. I didn't waste time complaining at the time as the staff seemed disinterested with their role and were too busy cleaning and preparing to close.
