Used to love going to the aspire plus lounge, however the last couple of times I have felt that with what looks like staff cutbacks it is a bit of a let down. The food has definitely been better in the past, we went at lunch time and the food consisted of sausages, scrambled eggs or pasta. I had the last plate and my husband had to wait a while for new ones. Annoyed when I found out the aspire lounge had more choice. Not blaming the staff as they are having to do everything from 'greeting' guests to serving drinks etc. Need to up their game if they are going to charge so much.

Quieter than sitting in main bars and restaurants but looking a bit tired in places, food was passable though very limited, wouldn't book again until it has a revamp

Lots of seating and some quiet places to rest even though the lounge was extremely busy when I visted. The food choices are quite limited and not as good as other lounges so this is an area that could be improved. That said, I would book this lounge again in the future.

Very limited choices for food and drink. Soup, pasta or rice which tasted like it had been there ages? Surprised we had to pay prosecco too? Free at other airports? More expensive at Liverpool so all in all not a very good experience.

Poor choice of breakfast food. Over cooked and dried up. Cakes scones croissants not refreshed quick enough when empty. Perhaps more staff needed.

I booked to use the lounge at Geneva as I had quite a wait from my business meetings to my flight time. On arrival I was told you can only check in 2 hours prior to departure time. In essence this means you probably only get 90 minutes in the lounge as you have to leave to get the plane so it represents very poor value for money. The lounge is quite small. The food and drinks were typical of an airport lounge but I wouldnt class it as 'executive'. Its OK nothing more. Due to the time constraights I would question whether it was worth the bother as its quite difficult to find and not that good.

I would prefer separate male and female toilets.

Rather slow queue to get into the lounge must have taken well over 10 minutes. Once in it was pleasant enough and spacious. No complaints other than the baps were doughy.

The staff were friendly and informative The lounge was very busy at the time we visited, this meant seating was not comfortable and some of the food options weren’t fully replenished, eg hot meat dish

While waiting to board for our flight, it is always a pleasure to spend that time quitly at one of your executive lounges, despite of the fact that the variety and quality of drinks and bites can be improved.

Having previously been impressed using the lounge, I had no hesitation in booking it again. However, although there were sufficient drink choices, the food choices were very limited and fell well short of my expectations and that of my first experience there, which was very disappointing. To be fair, the drink availability probably, on balance, meant that it was reasonable value for money and, therefore acceptable. But having traveled with friends this time our overall feelings were of disappointment.

The Aspire lounge at Luton was we’ll situated and comfortable but the service wasn’t as good as other lounges we have used everything was self service even getting a gin & tonic, platters of cheese and ham were not replenished until they were completely empty and then customers had to stand around waiting this included the basket with the bread rolls. There seemed to be plenty of staff but all they seemed to do was clear tables and put reserved signs on them even though the 3 hours we were there nobody sat at these tables. WELL YOU DID ASK

I had a very early start then 5 hour stopover in Amsterdam for my connection. I had expected something hot for breakfast, but there was only cereal or cheese & meat. I appreciate 10am is a busy time, a lot of people were being turned away until later, so I was greatfull to be allowed in. It was also a bit early for me to enjoy the alcoholic refreshments, the Heineken tap looked very tempting. Compared to previous lounge experiences the food choice was very disappointing I couldn’t wait to get on my flight for food . But it was comfortable and relaxing to spend a few hours

This was the first time we have used the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 1 since we used it several times about 2015. I am sorry to report that standards have slipped significantly over time. The decor and fittings look tired now. The food offering was quite poor largely due to lack of replenisment. There was a shortage of crockery (I had to wait 15 minutes for a soup bowl when I requested one from a member of staff ) The table adjacent to the one we used was not cleared of the previous users dirty plates etc.for the entire two hours we were in the lounge. (Possibly due to the lack of staff apparently available ) Although our use of the lounge was preferable to using the very crowded terminal I did not regard the lounge as offerring value for money . This was disappointing as our previous experiences of using the lounge were far superior. Apologies for giving you bad news but hopefully you can use our comments to achieve a more consistent and higher performance level.

A seemingly reluctance by the staff to man the bar.

We didn’t like the new layout of the lounge, it had a canteen feel to it, rather than a lounge, very disappointed. There was only a little amount of food out and people were waiting all the time for it to be refilled. We use the lounge twice a year, I don’t think we will be bothering in the future ☹️

We did not receive what was advertised . The self service did not include a fridge with wine beer and water. There was no fridge. We did not get coffee so it was just water out of a machine or alcohol. The bar service was fine . The food was just Ok and the dishes and plates where so small you could not get a decent helping you could however go up as often as you wanted. Scones cream and jam were put out later on which was a nice touch and redeemed what up to then had been a just Ok experience. Food was not replenished quickly . We would not book this again...
