Visited on 26th January 2019, must say i was really disappointed with the lack of variation of food and drink, no cider and small amount of hot food and no biscuits, The lounge that was upstairs was much better and value for money and we found this on wasn’t and probably won’t return.

I would recommend using the Executive Lounge if you were going to be at the airport for an extended period of time due to the comfort, privacy and plug sockets, however, I wasn't over enthusiastic about the whole experience. Cons It came as a surprise that the lounge did not have it's own wifi and I overheard another person in the lounge being frustrated by this too. The presentation of the main courses for food (pasta and rice) was not the most appealing. Sausage rolls or sandwiches would be nice to have, even for an evening menu. The soup was very watery and a bit on the cold side too. The snacks were scarce - crisps located behind the bar and I think there were about 2 small slices of cake left when we arrived. Does not have it's own toilet facilities, so you will need to go back out to use the toilets. Pros: The lounge has a nice, relaxing atmosphere and it was very clean. There was a nice selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Staff were friendly and explained everything when we entered.

On our visit the lounge was very crouded with very few spare seats. We had to politely ask people if we could share a table with them. It felt as if the lounge had been over booked. For such a large airport, perhaps a large lounge is required? We were travelling on our honeymoon and booked the lounge for a treat. We ended up leaving an hour earlier than planned and went to Fortnam & Mason for a glass of fizz instead as we felt overcrowded in the lounge

Was as expected with one drawback. When booked, a hot gluten free option was available. This was not the case and therefore had to settle for what cold gluten free was available.

Dear Kevin, Thank you for your review on your recent visit, I am glad to see that you enjoyed your visit with us but disappointed the lounge never had the gluten free hot option available. I will pass your comments on to the team to ensure we are offering at least 1 Gluten free option. Kind regards The Aspire Team

Decent lounge, although some of furniture/décor looks a little tired. Not a great selection of food, but reasonable. Relatively poor selection of drinks at the bar.

I booked the lounge as a surprise for my wife before leaving for our holiday in Gran Canaria. First impressions were ok but we did feel the furnishings did feel a bit dated and the lounge lacked a little bit of ‘atmosphere’, felt more like a library than a place for pre flight relaxation. I know it is hard to please both business and holiday travellers but maybe just some low subtle music may help? Couples were whispering to each other as it felt a little bit ‘stiff’ in there. I’m glad I booked the champagne as this made it feel like more of an occasion. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast, over cooked sausages and rather unappealing looking bacon & scrambled egg. I did not enjoy my breakfast at all. The positives were that the staff were very polite and friendly and there was a good selection of complimentary drinks. It was also disappointing that there are no toilet facilities in the lounge but this may be due to a lack of space rather than planning. My overall impression was that I would probably sit in the champagne bar next time as I don’t think the cost justifies the experience. I will be flying out of Edinburgh again in September so you never know?? Kind regards Steve Hales

Dear Steven, Thank you for your review on your recent visit with us. First of all we appreciate all feedback given whether this is positive or Negative as this gives us the potential whether we need to work on our lounges or keep what we do to the standards. It is very hard to find the balance for the atmosphere as we are an executive lounge and at Edinburgh it is popular for our business class travellers who tend to come to our lounge to do some work and relax in silence and enjoy it away from the main concourse. In regards to the food, Our breakfast is loved by all passengers and often we receive great feedback about our breakfast especially the Sausage. I will certainly advise the lounge manager about your comments to work on them. Our team at Edinburgh strive to deliver excellent customer service to all of our customers and the team very often receive great feedback about them which they always appreciate. We do have a new lounge opening this year so please look out for the new opening, Once the new lounge is open we will be then refurbishing the old lounge to bring it to 2019. Thank you for your feedback. Kind regards The Aspire Team

To be honest it was very quiet when we arrived and had been all day as there wasn’t many flights out of cork so the hot food options were totally dried up as they had been there for very long periods without been eaten so didn’t taste nice at all.

the food was good but it will be great if the boiled eggs were to be served pealed, also the beer selection is very poor as there was only 2 types to choose from. the other annoying thing is its very far from the departure lounge of terminal 3

A convenient spot in the airport. Too many reserved tables and no one managing the que to gain access and the seating once you gain acces. Food quality is good but the quality of service was disappointing. It does not compare with the service at other loungesI have visited in Gatwick.

It was lovely but very crowded and a lot of the electrical phone charging points didn't work. The food was great and there was plenty of it. Just too many people, no quiet area here either. I would not bother again.

Not the luxurious environment it claims to be. Tables very close together, as a consequence its noisy too. If booze is your reason to go then probably reasonably le value but food offering very average. It sure I'll bother again.

Visited for an early morning flight. Food options were good with a small range of hot foods as well as pastry and cereal options. Lounge itself was a little tired, with some well used furniture, but was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Unfortunately the bathrooms were disastrous with several being soiled and unable to be used (without having been taken out of order to be cleaned). The lounge does offer a sanctuary form the normal hubub of the terminal building though and WiFi was good so it was easy to work or browse while waiting for a (slightly delayed) flight.

The atmosphere, location and friendliness of staff are excellent. However, for £18, you get very little in the way of snacks/food. The food on offer was a bacon sandwich or pre-packaged pastries, which feels cheap. The coffee machine itself is fine, but lacks a certain level of quality you would expect for a lounge. That said, it was a pleasant experience to be in this very cosy and quaint lounge.
