I find the lounge poor and grubby compared to the lounge at Cape Town international. The drinks and food are limited for the cost. For example they supply savoury biscuits but nothing to put on them i.e. cheese!

Overall the staff were inatentive(poorly trained). Food not of high standard. It is a long walk from anywhere and poorly signed. I could go on but I am sure you get my drift: I was underehelmed!!

Food choice was poor, lounge was dirty and shabby, staff more interested in chatting amongst themselves.

Fell well below my expectations unfortunately. After a long journey from the north of England to airport I was at excited to get to the lounge. The lounge was cramped. The service at the bar for drinks was very slow. One of the barman didnt even know how to create a stock cocktail which was advertised in the bar. The hot food looked awful. Could of benefited from some background music to create a relaxing atmosphere, which ultimately I did not experience. On a positive the bathroom facilities were spotless

It’s a very small space and to be honest I didn’t find it good value for money. Small portions of food and pretty terrible wine

The lounge itself is modern and calm and has a lovely view but that’s where the benefits end. The food and drink selection is so poor that even if it was only £5 entry I wouldn’t come back! No hot food selection no cold cuts, sandwiches or even wraps is in my opinion the least a lounge should offer. To have only some biscuits (digestive or cream crackers!) a little bit of cheese , a bowl of soup and a packet of crisps on offer is so severely below par I’m surprised if they ever have any returning visitors! I certainly won’t be back as I can sit in the restaurant area and have a better glass of wine that I know hasn’t been in an open bottle for days. Such a shame as the setting is perfect!

There was a huge queue and we had to wait to be seated (even though we booked a specified time). The food was luke warm and not very inspiring to eat. There was only 1 sweet choice of cake and a few bits of fruit and the fridges were not stocked of drinks so you had to queue to get served however all staff were efficient and excellent in their customer service.

We stayed in the Aspire lounge on the 13th February 2020 when we arrive the lady at the desk turned us away and said we had not book it was not until we went outside that I retrieve the email to show her that she let us in. The buns for the bacon and sausages were hard and when I asked for some bacon to be well cooked the reply was no. Other than this the staff were friendly.

Although we were happy with our visit in general, was not happy at all when we were asked to move from a lounge area to accommodate Business Class clients flying with Sinapore Airlines. After all we are paying customers just like them.

Dear Brian, Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to see you were asked to move area, the lounge at terminal 2 does have a dedicated area for Singapore airlines passengers who we are contracted to reserve space, staff are on hand to find another comfortable seating area for you however I do apologise for any inconvenience. We do hope to see you again in future. Kind Regards, Executive Lounge Team

Very poor choice of food. Hi food was curry or curry which not everybody likes. No hot soup and very poor choice of salad. Pancake machine not working and only a few cakes left. I have used many airport lounges and this is by far the worst I have every used. Staff not that friendly on reception and insisted we left before our allotted time. Would not recommend.

For price paid, felt the selection of food was poor. Bar did not have non-alcoholic drink options you'd expect in a bar these days.

Arrived at 10:30am, check in very smooth and quickly in the lounge. Unfortunately the breakfast was way below what I expected. The sausages had obviously been there for a while as they had dried out inside, the beans were congealed to the pot and the toaster was broken..I mentioned the issues to the staff who simply shrugged their shoulders and made a comment that the lunches were due out soon anyway....I will not be using again, save your money and book the Escape lounge.

We arrived to a trainee, that I don't have a problem with, however the frosty woman in charge who was meant to be the mentor was hopeless. The food was OK not anything fantastic and to make it worse there was hardly any and had to ask for it to be refilled, now call me old fashioned but thats not my job, I paid for lounge access to be a pleasant experience, but this is not the case. To be honest you would be as well using the airport facilities. All in all my first lounge as a new member and I found it to be the a reasonably unpleasant experience and didn't enhance my travelling experience, is the membership worth the effort, that remains to be seen, but the new lounge at Edinburgh isn't helping that. On another note, maybe get another 3rd party company to manage your review platform, as the optional questions don't apply to your services. Really guys you need to try harder

The boarding for the flight to Dubai was at 12.15pm I arrived at the lounge at approximately 1045am and at that time there was a limited menu and no lunch menu available. The lunch menu was only available at 12.00 which was too late for boarding and therefore I don’t feel I got the quality of food that reflects the cost of the booking. Aspire needs to cater more in terms of quality of food for those passengers who travel on midday flights.
