Ok for comfort but not much choice would benefit from more food

The choice of snacks were limited but the lounge was comfortable and enjoyable.

The welcome at reception was not particularly warm. The wc was passable but the soap bottles plungers in both ladies & gents didn't work hence they remained full all day! The catering staff were efficient but didn't utter a word to anyone the entire time we were there.

Lately i have visited this lounge twice. Enjoyed more the first time. The second time all the magazines were foreign only. A member of staff (on both visits) working serving meals etc. seemed that everything and everyone was annoying her and not helpful. Maybe shes just not a morning person and both times were early morning visits. But the other ladies on checking into the Lounge were very pleasant.

The standard was just ok. I've had better in other airports. For example the coffee machine had no coffee in and I had to use another. The toilets were situated in the corridor and were dirty However, the staff were very polite.

Comfortable lounge area food basic, not a lot of choice. Service was ok. Would use again at peak season

Very difficult to find the lounge in this vast airport. A very long walk. Badly signposted. I would suggest better signs.

Unable to review, since the lounge was not as indicated on the website (for Air Canada & International flights). The website has since been updated, so people won't make the same mistake I made.

Compared to recent experience of birminghams lounge. There wasn't any hot food other than soup (which was very tasty). Also it was all help yourself, rather than waitress service. A menu to choose from would have been preferable. Unusual lager choice. Thai beer or carlsberg. Not good value for money.

I arrived around 08:30am. The seating area was untidy and previous drinks, newspapers, food had not been cleared from tables. The choices of snacks and cereal was very limited. I enquired at the front desk about bananas. The two attendants just looked on and smiled "No...". I've travelled and used other lounges. The area could do with a re-vamp.

When paying for a service I don't appreciate been treated like a con artist just because I deleted my conformation email. I was in the process of producing all the relevant documentation to confirm who I was to cross reference with the appropriate list and don't take to kindly to being spoken to like a diss obediany child. Once inside it was very busy and couldn't cope with the demand quiet and relaxing I've seen better civilised children's parties when queuing for food and as for not being able to pay cash for the extra charge proseco that's riddiculous so as you didn't want my cash last Sunday you won't be receiving anymore In future and manners cost nothing I'd advise you get some for your staff.

we arrived at 10.40am to find all the breakfast items had been taken away and replaced with lunch service , we asked for bacon rolls and were given these 40 mins later , when asking for cossisants we were told they had run out , I wouldn't have booked the lounge if I knew this would have happened

A bit of a mix up to begin with woundering how we had managed to book it on line under the u.s. We arrived @ 3.30pm and found the choice disappointing we had been traveling over 9 hrs and wanted something hot all that was offered was soup 2 types which did not look to appetising . The chairs looked very tatty and ripped on the arms. It was clean and tidy but just looked a tired .

I was a bit worried booking this lounge after seeing the Tripadvisor reviews, but was happy with the service over all. The best bits: plenty of refreshments available, lots of bacon sandwiches, quiet, bar/serving staff were pleasant and accommodating, plenty of attitude adjusting alcohol available Cons: Staff member on reception was unwelcoming (felt like she was doing me a favour); no where to sit when we first went in (we had to get chairs from other groups ourselves and persuade a family of three sat round two tables that they only needed one table so we could have one)- however it emptied out during the time we were there and by the time we left there were lots of empty seats and tables; there wasn't a staff member on the bar, you had o go and wait for one to appear- however once they noticed you were waiting, they came to the bar and served promptly and with good attitude. Overall I'd book again if I had a long flight coming up and wanted to be relaxed before going. If it was a short flight, I probably wouldn't bother

I felt it was very very basic compared to other lounges I've been in Including Edinburgh and others at Glasgow. To get value for money you'd need to be an alvholic. Which neither of us are. More food products please !!!!

Everything was just ok, not spectacular. The food selection was limited and really not that appealing. I would have liked to use a desktop terminal because it would be faster than using my iPhone but having to pay for that just didn't sit well with me. Maybe when the final renovations are done it will be better but the inconvenient walk to the lounge was far from the biggest issue with it. The bathrooms were incredibly clean, that is always a plus.

Appreciate that building works are being carried out at the moment, so suspect the lounge is not working at its best. No toilet facilities available, but staff were always on hand to help.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Food and drink lovely and constantly replenished. Only 2 staff working so sometimes had to wait a while for bar service. Bacon sandwiches weren't ready for when the lounge opened at 4am, again probably due to being short staffed. Advertised as families welcome but there are no family or child facilities. The servisair lounge in terminal one has lots of great family facilities - the one in terminal two needs to catch up a bit.
