Staff wasn't happy that they were other Black people in the lounge and we were told not to sit close to each other. I was surprised my Name was being referenced on most Black people who walked in. I wish I could get a refund because there was no food to match the pricing. The staff didn't do justice to the name and expectation of this potentially great place. If I can get my refund and forget about the bad experience.

Disappointed by quality of snacks and appearance of lounge. Felt some staff could have been more friendly

Waste of money buying access to Aspire, shan’t be doing it again! Overcrowded, difficult to find a seat and poor selection of food available.

It's gone downhill. Surly staff, food below previous standard, drinks not as available and staff requesting tonic bottles brought back ! Disgusting after paying nearly £60 for 2 people. Not worth the money and won't be returning. Rewards not worth it as can't pre book and expire after 24 months.

Unfortunately we are unable to give any positive feedback, the lounge was overcrowded, area too small seats really uncomfortable, table too low to even eat our from!, The food was of very poor quality and cold and no toast! Feel this was not the start of the holiday we were looking for. We feel we wasted money completely on this experience. This lounge is no comparison to the virgin lounge whatsoever!

My arrival was on a holiday. I was amazed to discover that such a big and international airport has NO LEFT LUGGAGE FACILITY on public holidays. In other countries, such a facility would be open longer hours knowing that folk will schedule trips on that day. What a disappointment. So I was unable to use your lounge and had to sit in a cafe for hours instead. Any chance of a refund?

A complete waste of money, they had run out of beer and only had lager on offer, the food was luke warm and the 'selection of cakes/biscuits' consisted of some broken digestive biscuits. The crisps were hidden under the counter and we were not made aware that they were available until we were ready to leave. There were 6 of us so this cost £180 and was no where near value for money. When we complained we were told that it was explained in the small print that stock is only replenished x 3 times per week so could run out. We still have been unable to locate that information. We will never return, a complete rip off

I’m sorry but lounge I’ve been in. Queues out the door, had to que with walk ins even thou we had booked. No seats or tables available when we got in and had to wait for a table. Small selection of food available but slow coming out so had to wait and que for food. Tables really close together, felt like you were sitting on top of people, I shouldn’t have wasted my money booking this!!

The lounge at Montreal airport was in a very poor state. The chairs were all ripped up and need to be replaced. The food is worse and worse as years go by. We have been using it for years but this year is really the worst. It has to be refurbished. We will not go there till renovations are made.

Only three choices of hot food and was not very good . We decided to try the buffet instead. There was only three televisions which we couldn't even see as we were told to sit at a two table station as it was almost full. For the price not worth it. Decided not to use at Gatwick on return used wetherspoons instead. Not much different.

Checking into the lounge was a joke - had to queue behind walk- ins trying to pay, when we had pre booked/ paid. 'Fresh' food was shocking - stale bread rolls, cold bacon, tasteless eggs. Ran out of croissants which were never replaced. No cups available for the coffee machine. Surly bar staff, who clearly didn't want to be there. No ice for drinks. Do I need to go on? This is the first time we have flown from T1 and hell will freeze over before I waste my money on your lounge again. You need to look at T2 lounges - both Escape and Aspire and model your service and offerings on them

Absolutely appalling! Compared to No. 1 Lounges this is a joke! Rubbish and cheap food, pasta and rice dishes which cost pennies, bread which consisted of doughy cheap burger buns cut in half, hardly the artisan bread I expected! Drinks ok but Prosecco, apart from one glass complimentary you had to then pay for! For £60 for two this was really bad and I felt like we were sitting in a bus station waiting room as opposed to a relaxing and palatial Lounge prior to a long haul flight to Dubai! Food ran out as quick as it was replenished, probably because people were trying to get their moneys worth and I would have preferred Wetherspoons fare any day! If I ever fly from Terminal 5 again I would not bother with the Lounge and just take my chances in some of the bars there which looked more palatial and had better atmosphere! Avoid at all costs!

When we arrived ( Group of 3 ) there wasn’t 3 seats together. Individual people had taken up the seats for larger groups, food had run out and was very, very slow to replenish it. When I ordered a can of Guinness was informed that they was not cold as they had just been placed in the fridge, then after queuing for 5 minutes when I finally ordered a beer from the tap was inform that it had run out and there was 5 minute wait for it to be changed. When finally seated there seemed to be more and more people arriving with no seats left.

The aspire lounge has lost my favour, the last two visits to this lounge have been awful. Lack of food for one and what was there was awful, plus we had to wait 20 minutes for a seat and table. £65 I should e spent in a decent restaurant in the airport; never again rubbish

Sadly I was very disappointed with this lounge, it was very busy to start off with, it had no places to sit and relax. The entire space was littered with food, dirty paper tissues and glasses-very unhygienic. Staff hard to find to clear anything up. Fizzy drinks and mixers all flat. after 2 hrs of standing in dirt a seat became available, i tried to find someone to clear up the mes but in the end ended up cleaning up myself as did many other passengers. my opinion - NEVER AGAIN- MC DONALD'S AND A CHEESE BURGER WOULD BE 1ST CLASS COMPARED TO THIS DUMP!!!
