When ordering from FSD I have learned to order one thing at a time. I am still waiting on half of my order but can't get a proper update, and IF the items were shipped separately, they both have the same tracking number and show they were delivered when I, in fact only received half of what I ordered. I would love a proper update to make sure they didn't screw me.

I love the product. According to your website, shipping was estimated at 4 days. I placed my order on May 28 and did not receive my product until June 8. Ordinarily this would not be a problem. However, I am out of the country more than not. I had to plan to place my order so that I would be home to receive the order so it wouldn’t sit outside I’m the sweltering Houston heat. On top of that, the shipping cost was 70% of the product price. I love the product and want to reorder, but, probably won’t due to these 2 factors.

When we place the order to when we received it the customer service is terrible there’s no phone number to get in touch with you the company and we were getting three different answers every time we spoke to a representative online process was terrible and do not think we will order from food service again

It would have been 1 star, but the customer services worked with me to get a refund. Simply put, I ordered an item and they shipped the wrong thing. That kind of the whole thing in a business like this. You have to ship the product the customer ordered.

Love this place, but my recent order was shipped with the box slightly open and my description of the catfish I ordered did not match the description that was posted online. Said my catfish order was 3oz to 5oz fillets. What I got was the leftover scraps from the company thrown in a big bag. I’m now stuck with an item that had a misleading discription and out $100 bucks. This has to be the worst order I should not have gotten.

I have received my 4th package of muffin mix and it to has holes in the manufacturing packaging (not the shipping packaging). I not going through with all the pictures and phone calls again. Just simply chaulking it up to a lesson learned. I think you should request a package and thew it out and see for yourselves. Then you see what I'm talking about. Very disappointing on my side .

The churros were not even sent with the cinnamon and sugar to make them churros and when I baked them they tasted rubbery. Would not recommend these to anyone.

I’m not sure how much of this is FoodServiceDirect’s fault, but here goes. Steaz makes two types of peach-flavored teas: one in a glossy can with a large picture of a peach, and another in a matt can, with a tiny picture of a peach. They don’t taste the same; the latter has a more green tea flavor than the former. I specifically ordered from FoodServiceDirect because the picture on the website showed the first kind of tea. I ordered a box. However, what I received was actually the second kind of tea, which I don’t really like. I’m not sure what happened.

The icecream I ordered showed up melted. I kept receiving false notifications via text and email saying your package has been delivered However no package was ever delivered. When I did receive the delivery it was all liquid 😑😒.

When they sent email saying they shipped out 6 gal of ice cream on Fri. I was very concerned. It meant dry ice or not it was going to sit in a truck or warehouse over weekend. I doubt dry ice lasts more than 2-3 days at most. After sitting all weekend it would be another 3 days before receiving it. Sure nuf it was liquid when it arrived. We put it in freezer for 24 hr before using it. It was good ice cream but full of little pieces of ice like chunks that plugged straw (milkshake). I would never order again due that reason.

I have been ordering yeast for 2 years from FSD. In the last 3 to 4 months we have received at least 4 cases of yeast ruined or partially damaged by water and moisture intrusion. Once water gets soaked into the cardboard and starts wicking to the yeast, it can spread thinly and quickly and impregnate the yeast packages. One delivery, the sour rotten egg kind of smell was very strong and pervasive, and eminated from the case before it was opened. Two of us did individual sniff test of all 24 pounds of yeast in the case, could only locate 4 that did not have a foul smell. That was a loss of 83% of the yeast in the case, and then we had to immediately order another case. We told shipping of the problem and asked for them to prevent water from condensation on the gel packs from wicking into the yeast. Their solution was to put open topped baggies over the frozen gel packs. This did about as much good as a screen door in a submarine. The delivery service delivered the box on its end, and the water wicked all over the yeast again. Do you think the shipping department can spend 17 cents on a tall kitchen garbage bag to wrap around the cardboard case of yeast to provide what is called "barrier protection" against the condensation of moisture on the gel packs ? We pay $70.00 a case for yeast, don't you think it would be worth the investment to properly package your product ? We wish you would because in this town in the Midwest where fresh yeast is hard to come by, we depend on Food Service Direct to deliver good quality yeast delivered us to survive. Can you please put in a word with shipping, or make dry ice an option ?

My shipment came with 14 cans and each can were literally full of crumbs. Of course I ate them. I paid 42.00 dollars for them, I didn’t enjoy them and I was very unhappy

Would love to shop at Food Service Direct. Great prices and service when purchasing. However, we ordered Best Foods Vegan Mayo and had three out of four deliveries arrive opened and spoiled. Afraid to order again and deal with the hassles of getting no product and making the case to get a refund.
