This is the worst experience I have had from a company in years. As many have said using covide 19 as an excuse to exploit the system . Waited 7 weeks still no order or a refund as requested . Your emails are endlessly responded to through an automated outcome and no one ever responds to you personally. Now currently going through resolver to try and resolve this. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY

Do NOT touch with a barge pole. They ironically include the word 'express' in their name. I've reported them to Trading Standards as they're still taking money off suckers like me and not delivering my order was more than 40 days ago and counting. They've addressed their 'non-plant' situation by hiring additional customer service people - what about 'put plants in a box and post them people'?? Really can't wait for the half-dead weeds to turn up.. NOT.

Disgusted with the quality. Some plants were dead on arrival, the others were very unhealthy, very poor quality. Have tried to raise issue with company but very difficult to contact them. Would never recommend

Ordered a tree and honeysuckle plants beginning of April. Received a generic email advising a delay due to coronavirus. No way of contacting company to chase order either by phone or email. Unable to get a refund. I am questioning whether company has gone into administration

Ordered on 10th April and noney taken at the time but no delivery, no communication and no refunds despite several requests. A shocking service. You are being greedy by continuing to accept orders when you haven't delivered existing and long overdue orders. Updates on the website are not daily so not believable. Suggest they are lip service Should be zero stars. Wish there was that option.

Have just received the rambling rose I ordered on the 7th April and just like the previous reviewers I am appalled by this company. It arrived very badly packed in a flimsy cardboard box that was battered and broken. The plant is a pathetic, feeble little thing with hardly any roots and is going to need an awful lot of tlc to get it to survive. Its not worth trying to get the money back which is obviously what these cowboys bank on! Fortunately, I had a feeling about these people and a couple of weeks ago I ordered the same rose from a VERY well known rose grower. It came a few days later in excellent packaging and the plant is wonderful - Big and really healthy ( well worth the higher price ). These people should be stopped from conning the public. I will certainly never use them again and will other people about them. They don't deserve one star.

Lousy company. No delivery after 6 weeks, no response to enquiries. Same for hundreds (at least) of other customers too. Avoid.

Ordered plants on the 14th april and paid in full online at time of order. Promised order in 3-5days at time of order. NOTHING has yet arrived. And they say as they are an online company I cant phone them. Raised numerous tickets, they now say due to demand they are not answering any queries either. This company is a complete scam. I want my money back but how can you when you cant get in touch with them. DONT BUY FROM GARDENING EXPRESS! You wont get the plants and cant get get in contact with them. DREADFUL!! will never use them again!!!!!

‘ABSOLUTELY APPALLING’ I placed an order for a Clematis Armandii two weeks ago but as our local garden centre has now opened I have tried to cancel the order. Having emailed 3 times with no response and completely unable to make contact with Gardening Express the item just arrived and what an appalling specimen it is. They should be ashamed of themselves selling this plant for £20 in this condition. As you will see from my photo, I have been able to purchase the item from my local plant centre and what an complete difference. It actually has considerable growth on it as opposed to something which looks dead with no visible shoots. I am currently renovating my garden and have spent upwards of £1500 during lockdown on plants from different nurseries all of which have been in excellent condition apart from this one from Gardening Express. APPALLING SERVICE- APPALLING PLANT. Definitely would NOT recommend using them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE BEYOND USELESS. ORIGINAL ORDERED PLACED ON 12TH APRIL. NOW 22 MAY 2020, STILL NOTHING EXCEPT AUTOMATED EMAILS SAYING HOW HARD THEY ARE WORKING. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN THEIR PATHETIC AUTOMATED RESPONSES. THEY SHOULD STOP CRYING ABOUT HOW BUSY THEY ARE AND STOP TAKING ORDERS. ALL I KEEP ASKING FOR IS A REFUND BUT STILL NOTHING. EVEN WITH RESOLVER THE RESPONSE IS JUST AN AUTOMATED EMAIL CRYING BECAUSE THEY ARE WORKING TOO HARD. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I'm just everyone else they've taken my money keep blaming lack of despatch on the virus I've been more than patient now 5 weeks! I've sent an email demanding to know a firm despatch date or a refund meantime I've called my bank and started charge back process I'm not having this nonsense anymore!

Ordered 11th April, nothing received. I’ve tried to contact them but it’s pointless so my credit card company are dealing with it. No surprise to hear this wasn’t the first time they’d heard about this company. It was only a 10 minute call and whilst it may take a few weeks to get reimbursed, I feel much better than I did after spending weeks attempting to communicate with this incompetent, useless company.. I would recommend anyone else do this

I ordered plants over 5 weeks ago, not heard a thing since. Raised two tickets on their website and both still pending, wish I had investigated before I ordered, they are vogues.

Absolutely disgusted. Placed three orders worth £130 on the 11th, 12th and 16th April and still not received anything. You don't reply to emails and can't find a phone number. I'll never use you again and would very much like a refund if i can find out to get one. My patience has gone. My advice is don't use them.

plant sent was a dead twig in a pot this company should be stopped from trading they are a rip off ordered on 9th March received on 22nd May don't hold your breath,they also do not respond to emails and blame every thing else. save your money buy from somewhere else.

I placed my order on 17th April and still not even received an update. I appreciate we are experiencing difficult times but it's now been 5 weeks and I can't find a way of contacting them. I hope this isn't a scam!
