Admiral made a mistake on advising us an incorrect policy amount we paid last year and admitted to the mistake. Our renewal was based on last years premium. Admittedly they did reduce the premium when we rung but because it was based on an extortionate incorrect amount for last year our renewal premium was outrageous I wouldn't rate them any stars. In fact minus would ge appropriate”

Admiral Insurance should be ashamed of their underhand tactics. They have broken any trust I thought I had their company. Their insured driver Michael Wheeler killed my beautiful daughter Sophie Taylor and she will never ever be replaced. Admiral, David Stevens CEO and the whole company ADMIRAL INSURANCE voided the policy AFTER the policy holder Wheeler was convicted of causing the death of my beautiful daughter so you wouldn't have to pay out. I cannot believe Admiral would stoop so low to do this!!!!!!! Please please please do not take out insurance with admiral as if if you have an accident don't be 100% certain you'll insured. It's all money and games with them.

“My car was parked out the front of my house and a car went into it I was not in the car at the time I went out to view the damage to the back bumper .got the details from the police of the collison and took the car to my local repair center told them the situation and will this increase my car insurance no they replied . So went ahead phoned ADMIRAL car insurance up on that day and explained I what happened and I need car insurance for a courtesssey car for 2 week that was fine £40 after the 2 weeks passed phoned them up again for some reason this time they put me through to the claim report apartment my assosiate explained this was for information purposes only and would this effect my car insurance oh no there reply was so I forwarded the information another 2 weeks passed went to get on the cortessey car again for 2 weeks and the amount was coming in at 300 for 2 weeks whatttttt there reply was yes 40 for the car and 260 for the increase in your car insurance for the collision I explained this can not be write as I have already paid for my car insurannce and you's had told me this would not effect my premiums lies lies lies and that the accident was being claimed if the other parties insurance .there reply was you might put another claim in what a biggest load of car talk so I had to pay the extra but will never ever be using admiral insurance ever again in my life there a pack of untrustworthy people stay well clear from this firmly”

Wouldn't respond to my complaint for refunding it as they effectively 'stole' that money, credit card company stepped in and got the refund.

“Only AFTER I had queried it and then ADDED details of speed awareness course, as they required, I accepted their online motor quote but Admiral wrote charging me an extra c. £43 extra for "updating my conviction history". I protested; they agreed I had entered the SP30 and adjusted it to c £34, to included "administration charges" although it was not my fault they got it wrong. I said I would cancel because it was within the 14 day cooling off period and they reminded me there would be a £25 cancellation fee. The policy is not even due to start for another week!!! This is sharp practice! Avoid like poison.”
“Admiral is the only car insurance that loads excess due to having attended a driver speed awareness course which due to attending does not create points on dvr licence thus not regarded as an offence being committed along with making the driver more aware of speeds for areas traveler along.
This company is falsely extorting money from client's.

“Went through a cash back site, admiral experience an IT issue but said I was still eligible for the cash back (I have the email which they sent confirming this) and would receive it after 90days, did not receive this, I chase them and they now say I am not eligle for this. The cash back was the only reason I went with them as without it other places were cheaper. Will not use them again as they do not stick with their word”

“I took out home insurance, and at the time they asked if I'd be interested in a quote for car insurance (when it was due 9 months later). I said yes. Next thing I get a cover note and motor policy and they wanted a payment. Although they apologised and didn't take money I decided to tell them I wasn't interested in motor insurance with them. They then said I'd got a 'multi insurance' quote and wanted another £50. I told them no way and they backed down.
I'm appalled by their shady practices and the sooner I can take my business elsewhere the better.
I just don't trust them. What they did wasn't what you'd expect from a boae fide company!”

Avoid at all costs; I had a car accident with minor dent and some steering damage.
Garage brought it back to me after 3 weeks and 100 phone calls later, not even fixed properly. Had to be returned back to the garage to fix the cheap work which had been done.
Worst of all is that I had to chase for everything, no communication from them which made the situation stressful and disappointing. For info I am with bell insurance, which is dealt with by admiral, all the same thing.”
“Absolutely dreadful customer service. They don't even respond to complaints. The way they handle claims is abysmal, caving in to third party demands at the drop of a hat. Avoid at all costs, they'll cost you a lot of money in the long run, your insurance will go up even if the third party claim is bogus and your no claims bonus is affected obviously. Disgusted with their lack of professionalism. Can only assume they have work experience or school leavers dealing with claims!”
“I'm trying to add myself to my terminally ill father's Admiral car insurance policy and have spent many hours on the phone (mainly on hold) to some call centre in India, when I should be spending time with my father during his final few days of life. I have been fobbed off by numerous idiots, giving me pathetic excuse after excuse, and the simple task of adding me to his policy has still not been resolved. I always use Aviva for my car insurance, and I'm sure they would not give such inexcusably disgusting service. I would not wish Admiral on my worst enemy. I would give Admiral ZERO stars if possible.”
