Admiral personal loans are useless to apply. Please don't waste you time. Their application evaluation is baseless and overall service is very very bad. Stay away

Everything, never trust a word they say this company use common sense against you my sons car got vandalised by thugs he had never seen before he suffered broken bones, Admiral say its his fault, someone changed lanes in front of him took his front end off, Admiral say its his fault. fitted a tracker and dash cam, Admiral say you must think your car will be involved in an accident or is going to be stolen. We have a multi car policy but cant drive one another cars, I drive an E63 AMG but cant drive my sons Astra. They are a crock of ****

Absolutely useless - in car journey details not accurate. Rating of journeys is very arbitary and I have complied with all speed limits in day time and still not got gold rating. Says the dashboard is to try to help you improve driving but does not give enough information to do anything and misses journeys even over 0.5 miles. Complained about all this to Admiral and get some idiot who just wants to resolve issues over phone rather than listen to what is wrong. Shockingly poor all round

Absolutely rubbish. Despite dropping the price they were still among the most expensive so I told them I would not be renewing my policy but they still sent a revised renewal notice and said they'd still collect the premium on the due date. Customer service crap, haven't responded to emails (get written evidence where I can). Absolutely appalling service, will never use them again and will encourage others to avoid them too!

Do not buy insurance from them. You will regret it when it comes to claim. Remember Cheap Insurance is NO insurance.

It is easy to buy insurance which is overpriced (I pay them 1700 pounds) but when it comes to claim, no matter what you will be guilty. They will not cover the damage to you. If you drive on reverse, if you go on left and not right, if you are European, if they just do not like you... You will never get your money back with them. You might consider to take a solicitor together with insurance policy with Admiral. But if you just want to test whether am I right or wrong, help yourself.

Very very poor service once I had a claim. Admiral Law is the same, dealing with a bunch of incompetent people who can't do their job.

Watch out!! When I signed up with Admiral they provided the best quote but as time went by they pushed up the premium. For me they are now twice the cost of some of their competitors. Time to switch

I inherited my dad's car and instead of using Directline who my old car was insured with, I foolishly chose Admiral and applied online. They later phoned and after an hour persuaded me to add my husbands car when his insurance ran out, which wasn't until 352 days later, but I had to pay then. What they didn't tell me is that they removed my protected non claims bonus, and placed it on his, which was already insured on his current insurance, so I've been driving around thinking I had protected no claims bonus, when they'd put it on his car, which was still covered by his Directline insurance, and was only going to be on the Admiral Insurance for 13 days at the end of my first years insurance with Admiral!!! I only found this out yesterday. Today I've told their Indian call centre lady to cancel my insurance totally, and I've gone back to Directline where both my husband and I get protected non claims bonus on our cars and we're both named drivers on each other's. Directline were no more expensive, seem to have English call centres and include Business Use as standard. It's been an expensive lesson to learn with the cancellation fee, but I will certainly never ever use Admiral again, and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone, I'm just thankful I didn't have an accident in the four months I was with them, I wasn't prepared to just cancel my husbands insurance with them, as quite frankly I lost all confidence in them and wanted nothing more to do with them.

Really disappointed to have had a quote treble over the phone compared to online because I simply asked my old insurance company to come and inspect storm damage. I chose to have the work carried out away from the insurance company and had the case closed. I walked away from them with a proof of no claims bonus yet admiral are still saying I had an intent to claim. So a premium goes up by £285 because I didn't claim! Where is the sense in that?

Appalling , very misleading about what their insurance is. They expect you to do the work for them whilst trying to get you sign up and pay for additional services of some third party instead of getting on and dealing with your "no fault" claim . Avoid Admiral at at costs.

What went right with admiral, nothing, paying over 350 a year for contents insurance alone, have never claimed in my life, when I do need to claim I am not covered due to reciepts been in ex partners name, items that other people have bought you or Christmas present etc are not covered, as I am not at fianical loss, please stay clear they try to find every way possible to not pay. Shame on you admiral.

Disgracefully auto-renew policy without warning then charge excessive fees. Avoid.

Nightmare customer service. When I reported the accident, they didn't open my file with all information and picture, until I chased them to update me. The accident was not my fault, but they are not updating you, giving you the wrong information, they say, they can recall the call, etc. They said, I have to deal with third company about the excess, even their website something else and I was told on the phone something else, but apparently they can't find the call, even they record all calls. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. SO MUCH STRESS. THEY DO NOT PROTECT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!

It went wrong when they ripped me off for cancelling my policy I had to because my car failed and didn't work so needed a new car they wouldn't transfer the policy without charging extra and decided that an extra £150 just to cancel it early was acceptable it's not my fault that they won't be any help in changing it but I have to pay for it, I also had to wait until a direct debit went out before we cancelled it so all in all a pain in the neck and wouldn't recommend them at all
