“I had a lady scratch my car from September and all I’ve been is run around. Told rubbish. Waiting for the report about my car saying not got report. Rubbish I will not tolerate this any more disgusting .”
“They were reasonably priced for my first and second years of driving. However, for my third year of driving my renewal quote went up from the year before, even though I've never had any claims. I asked them why it went up and they didn't really have an answer for me. I also found many quotes with other companies for less, with one quote being £300 less. I asked if they could match it so I could stay with them but they only budged by £100. Obviously, I didn't stay with them. Loyalty means nothing to them... they just want your money.”
“Our car was stolen, after a long interrogation and lots of documents they offered a compensation of 33% below prices we found online for similar cars, a much smaller replacement car or just £250 otherwise. When the car was found by police just before payout they took back the £250 we thought we were using for taxis while waiting on car payout and also penalised quite a lot on our no claims bonus and it didn't make a difference whether they paid out for the whole car or just a fraction of that for repairs. Complete rip off.”
“I found Admiral through Go Compare, initially the price quoted was reasonable, so went ahead. After 3 months I changed my vehicle, which was a year new, same size engine etc. But Admiral told me that this would be an extra £222.00 rounding my insurance premium to over £500.00. I was shocked but went ahead. After a year and my renewal was up they gave me a price for the following year and quoted me £650. So I decided to shop around. Luckily I did and found Churchill who quoted me £268. What a difference in the price. I certainly would not recommend Admiral.”
“AVOID- their renewal prices are 80% higher than the original price and they also charge you £100 to remove the black box at the end of policy.
Terrible customer service and poor explanation of renewal price hike.”
“Avoid, I put my address, and in their database was missing one part of it?, they sent the little box and fail to delivery, and now they want to charge more, it is not my fault they use royal mail, I think they are doing this on purpose , when I contacted Customer service, the only option is pay extra, but the documents say the can try to re-arrange. Suspicious company, I will cancel my policy. I cannot imagine call them for a simple break down in the motorway.”
“Overall fine, but every year - and this happens to everybody I have spoken with - the premiums increase, no matter what the circumstance of the person. After calling, you always get a reduction. This should happen anyway - so how many people do not receive a discount by not calling?”
“Absolutely no customer service. They charge you a premium but doesn’t give you premium services. Never tell you exactly the procedure and end up you having to pay out loads for some one else mistake. Never go with them.”
