“Budget took over my car insurance from O2 and I wondered if this would result in a big hike in the premium but it was both fair and straight forward. Haven’t had to make a claim and can’t comment on this part of the policy but so far so good”

“I had home insurance with Budget Insurance, but when there was a fire in my flat, they refused to pay anything. Absolutely awful service. They also made it really hard to cancel the policy.”

“Appalling customer service when making a claim. Was passed all over the place and told it was nothing to do with budget as lloyds was the under writers. Was offered 2 tvs that was out of stock or discontinued before I was offered a sub standard one. The whole process took over 12 weeks. Shambles from start to finish”

“Renewed for second year after negotiating renewal price, as this had increased quite a lot in the quote. Agreed a revised renewal price with a helpful telephone operator. Not had to claim so cannot comment on this.”

“Raising a premium for no reason after 1 year no claims during a pandemic, says it all really. You did refund the difference from a cheaper quote, I suppose I should be grateful. God help if I’m ever in a accident. Other than that had no problems. Genuine customer service advisers SO FAR.”

“Best price quality/price on the market And half price than Direct Line with the same options + RAC recovery included Easy to access online I have choose Post Office car insurance which is under BISL umbrella Don’t believe.... go compare Direct line and AA got double in price for. The same service....”
