My insurance almost doubled and I couldn’t get the info I needed in order to be able to provide other quoting insurers with information they needed re a no fault, uncontested claim I’d had. I was bounced from pillar to post. Spent hours on the phone. We had a lot going on so I ended up being stuck with the ridiculously high increase despite 7 years of no claims.

The last year my policy was £350 this year it has gone up to £651 I can’t afford that and I’ll be cancelling why it should double is beyond me it may be due to an incident in 2019 but my last years policy was changed to include this so I’m baffled why £300 you may wonder why I didn’t cancel when it came to renewal the answer was I was on holiday abroad and then came back to deal with covid by that time it had renewed without me seeing it I thought never mind it’ll be around the same as last year £28 instead it was £56 I was shocked

Never had to make a claim but renewal has been great each year. When all my other insurers increased premium Dial were the only ones that kept close at renewal. Have confidence that should I need to claim then it will be managed professionally

A new customer. Won't be renewing. Unfortunately had to make a claim. I was let down by company, contractors did not attend appointment not once but twice with no explanation. Still awaiting. Very unprofessional.

I would highly recommend Dial Direct as a car insurance provider as I've had no issues with them or the online portal for managing my insurance policy. However, I would like to make a suggestion that if a customer calls to make a claim on their car insurance, because of an accident, etc, and the vehicle is written off then the policy should automatically be cancelled, even if it means a conversation immediately with the customer. This to me seems logical as you cannot insure a car that no longer exists however, after my car was written off in an accident on 6th July, Dial Direct continues to take 3 more direct debit payments from me as "I" hadn't cancelled the policy. I've had numerous conversations with Dial Direct about the accident and at no point was I instructed that cancelling the policy would need to be done separately by me and not automatically as part of the claim. Now I'm being told that it will be cancelled with immediate effect and I'll lose the money paid in the last 3 payments.

Renewal price was cheaper than those on comparison web sites but alas did get cheaper quotes nearer renewal time but had already agreed to renew with DD. Luckily I have had no need to use them for any insurance claims so cannot comment on this aspect of the company. They do send postal copies, whereas some only send electronic, unfortunately my printer isn't working and not an item I can afford to replace. For that reason I would happily recommend them along with fact they were a lot cheaper than other suppliers and the increase to my premium was small, compared to some companies the media hype about the doubling of insurance premiums didn't help - although saying that when I first started checking them out there were a number of ridiculous prices quoted.

So far have never ever had to make a claim which I imagine is when you find out how good a company ate. I was extremely pleased when I renewed my contents insurance with your company this year to find the cost was slightly lower than last year. Being a pensioner on a fairy tight budget this really helps and I am very grateful.

I have used this company for a few years now - I used to compare every year - and I have found them to be very professional. My quotes have got better each year and that is a big bonus for me. They have proved to be very competitive and I have had no reason to shop around. Win, win!!

After 3 days of house breaking that is when the assessor came to assess the damages 1.The was no sense of urgency as I mentioned that my door was chopped instead they send a security not someone to attend to an emergency and fix the door for us to be able to lock and be secured but we were supposed to spend 3 nights without the door. 2.Kagiso Namane Mogale never show any sense of urgency and he kept on telling me about other people who claims things that they don't have. I don't know if I'm other people I need clarity from him. 3.My kids lost their new shoes, accessories and a lot more other things now tell me how do I replace all those items from this pay out??? This is honestly unfair that we are expected to downgrade from the items lost all in the name of DIAL DIRECT INSURANCE. Where do my best interests lie as your client?? Please ensure that this mess is fixed with immediate effect as I will now resort to the measures of escalating this matter further to the Ombudsman.

i was with Dial Direct last year and when my car insurance ws up for renewal before i got my renewal price from Dial Direct i had a look around to see what i should expect to pay and i was astounded at how much the premiums had increased - Dial Direct offerd me a much better cover for a much lower preminum thats why i am with them again this year
