“Easy to take out insurance on-line”

“My husband and I have just renewed our home insurance (from what was a reliable building society that we have been members of for over 20 years!) and have opted to go with Policy Expert, there price was very competative and they offered a range of services so we could adapt what we needed. Hopefully we will never need it, so I can only give it a 10 out of 10 so far!”

“Very pleased with the price & the relatively easy application. My previous insurance company (Hastings) made an error mistaking an enquiry for a claim that then cost me personally several thousands of £’s. When our renewal came in they wanted an extra £200 for a £6500 repair that didn’t cost them anything??? My new policy with Policy Expert is & £150 cheaper than my revised renewal price from Hastings!”

“The completion of the application form was user friendly and in plain English. We are new customers so cannot provide feedback to the standard of the customer service to date but we will monitor this company having been with LV for years and provide further feedback at a later stage. I can say the pricing for the buildings and home insurance from Policy expert was very reasonable in comparison to other companies including the one we left which showed no loyalty to their long term customers with no claims. The renewal was up by £200 and online it was cheaper so be aware people of the inflated prices for auto renewal.!”

“Rubbish. Left me hanging without heating or hot water for 5 days then told me that they wouldn't honour the claim late on Friday afternoon. W*nkers”

“The Car breakdown cover is a complete joke .... we weren't recovered as promised and were left abandoned; tried taking it further but didn't get anywhere! Extremely unhappy that we paid for a service which was provided.”
